Break #49
WRITTEN STUDY NOTES

As I am winding down on the "Our Flesh" series, I have included links to three 'involved' studies on the proper walk of a Christian according to Paul.  While Paul seemed to often have those battles between his mind and his flesh, as do we, he still did all he could do to 'walk' to please the living God.  After all, he met with Christ face to face and so his faith was strong, his confidence was bold, he kept his affection on things above , not on things on the earth.  He knew he was dead, yet his life was hid with Christ in God.  He was looking forward to the time he would appear with Christ in glory.

Paul did what he could to mortify his members which were upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which Paul knew was idolatry.  He did what he could, as he battled his flesh, to putt off anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communications out of his mouth.  He must have constantly tried to put on the new man by putting off the old man with his deeds.  His mind was renewed in knowledge after the image of Christ.  Paul let the peace of God rule in his heart and was thankful.

We could do the same - we have a King James Bible - inspired and preserved as God promised and knowing that when it came during the Dark Ages (called Middle Ages in schools when anyone who had any thought or piece of a King James Bible was tortured and killed), all that 'on earth done in part'' stuff was done away.  During Paul's time and up to 1611, Christians were to put away childish things.  Paul and others knew 'in part' and during those times abided faith, hope and charity with charity being the greatest of those three things.

Today, however, we put prophecy, the reading, speaking and teaching of the KJB above all!  As Paul said that time would come, I believe it came when it came in a King James Bible in 1611.  There have been new editions with minor corrections and printing oopsies corrected, but it is still a 1611 Bible.  So I am willing, confident and comfortable knowing that the KJB 1611 is that which is perfect - and when I want to hear from God Himself to me directly, I can get it from reading that KJB, knowing what is in that Bible TO me.

No preacher, evangelist, missionary, author, book, music piece/song, church service, denomination and nondenominational, thought, feeling, confession, YouTube site, movie, man, woman, child, etc. can even come close to what I can get from simply reading a simply divided KJB!  In fact, I am beginning to believe more and more that the devil is in high gear with his deception through modern preachers, evangelists, missionaries, authors, books, music pieces/songs, church services, denominations and non denominations, thoughts, feelings, confessions, YouTube sites, movies, men, women, children, etc.

The falling away is in high gear. We should be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

If we want to be a witness to anyone, we should be willing to try and shew others, not just speak, of what manner of entering Paul had into our lives and how we turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God; in the meantime, we are anxiously waiting for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

I bid you well on your endeavor to let Paul's teachings enter into your daily walk; and I bid you well on your daily battle between your mind and flesh.  Stay in the KJB to bolster up your mind, and do your best in making fewer and fewer provisions for your flesh.  Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind... so put that mind of yours INTO that KJB that you have- Genesis to Revelation but spend most of your time reading the teachings of the RISEN SAVIOUR through Paul - ONLY!

Hold fast the form of sound words, which you have heard of Paul, in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.  There is laid up for you a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give unto all them also that love his appearing.

Don't be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of Paul his prisoner: but be a partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God.  Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to Paul's gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, but now is made manifest...

Remember the purpose of Timothy - I Corinthians 4:17 - For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.  If your church doesn't preach and teach the ways of Paul, then find one that does.  If you can't find one that does and they are rare these days, then stay home and open that King James Bible - that is why God gave it to us, anyway!

If you want some preaching from Paul, then jump into this website.  Each time I dig into it, I surprise myself at the stuff that is in here - sermons and studies I did in the years past are still effective and worthy of personal study to this day.  If you want music to listen to, etc. then dig into my other website on music.  Not only are there hundreds of the old hymns, there are studies and sermons on the subject of music itself.  You have a KJB, a concordance, a computer, music, this website and a few webfamily friends that care about truth and the difficulties we all have.  We will have no excuse.

With those things being said, let's move onto the 'hardest' of the flesh 'breaks.'
