The following question was asked by a nationally well-known author and pastor on his question/answer website page, etc.

How do you know the Bible is true?

Honestly, this sounds like a great question - but I do not believe any 'person' asked this question to this pastor.  I believe this is just another ploy to get people convinced there is really no 'one' Bible.  He asks the question on his website of which the reader says to themselves, "Yes, that is a good question."  And then after reading this pastor's 'spun' & worthless answer, they are steered away from the truth.

Now wouldn't that be a nice if someone asked you that same question?  Of course it would be - and you have many various 'ways' you could go about talking to people about the truth from the Scriptures.  You and I both know that in all of our answers, we would not hesitate to say King James Bible, instead of the 'safe' word "Bible.

So anyway, let's look at how 'spinny' this guy presents his answer.  Note that at the end of his answer, the reader will really not know the answer.  But the pastor will sound so 'impressive' and along with his basic direction he takes with his 'answer,' that most readers will just follow this guy and trust his answer - whatever it means - to be true.

If we could ask that question the way it should be asked, we would say,  "With so many so-called Bibles available today, how do you know which one, if any, is true?"  However - we know people don't ask that question anymore.  I am 'old enough' to remember the days when people actually asked that question; and I even actually remember how well the people received the answer to that question and often ready to throw out their 'study bible, etc. and get back into the KJB.  Unfortunately, those days are gone.   In fact, I even used to say that 'talking about how to judge music is 'right' for a Christian and pleases God angers folks.'  But now, I don't even see people getting angry about the music question either.

So, it seems that Romans 11:22 is just that much closer.  The Gentile nation is about to get cut off!  It is that simple. And when that happens - well, that is for another mini-sermon.  (And when that happens, I won't be here to help the tribulation age people.

So anyway, back to this
'bogusful baloney of an answer from a blowhard bimboish of a pastor / author' .

First, I will leave the answer intact in the first section for you to read yourself.  I am sure you are quite capable of 'reacting' and 'answering' this slimy slippery 'official' answer all by yourself; you certainly don't need me to comment for you.

However, just for the sake of the website - (and yes, I will mail this answer to the email address located on the article asking for 'comments,) I will present the answer again in a second section but will throw my comments into the article itself - in blue.

I will say, though, I doubt I will be all that complete in my answer below anyway. Not only does our website have all the necessary details to truly answer that question, I am getting quite tired of reading this stuff knowing that any response will not be heeded by the writer, anywhooo - and sad to say, the average Christian isn't interested in the truth, either.

In fact, I even figure there was a KJ Bible Believer somewhere that has already responded to the writer concerning his answer - but I am also sure he left out Paul and rightly dividing.  Doesn't the devil just enjoy this bickering and battling when both sides of the 'issue' are wrong!

Official Answer from the Website:
That's an excellent question because so much is at stake in the Christian faith in terms of the truthfulness of Scripture. The Bible is our primary source of information about Jesus and about all of those things we embrace as elements of our faith. Of course, if the Bible isn't true, then professing Christians are in serious trouble. I believe the Bible is true. I believe it is the Word of God. As Jesus himself declared of the Scripture, "Your word is truth." But why am I persuaded that the Bible is the truth?

We need to ask a broader question first. How do we know that anything is true? We're asking a technical question in epistemology. How do we test claims of truth? There is a certain kind of truth that we test through observation, experimentation, eyewitness, examination, and scientific evidence. As far as the history of Jesus is concerned, as far as we know any history, we want to check the stories of Scripture using those means by which historical evidence can be tested - through archaeology, for example. There are certain elements of the Scripture, such as historical claims, that are to be measured by the common standards of historiography. I invite people to do that - to check it out.

Second, we want to test the claims of truth through the test of rationality. Is it logically consistent, or does it speak with a "forked tongue"? We examine the content of Scripture to see if it is coherent. That's another test of truth. One of the most astonishing things, of course, is that the Bible has literally thousands of testable historical prophecies, cases in which events were clearly foretold, and both the foretelling and the fulfillment are a matter of historical record. The very dimension of the sheer fulfillment of prophecy of the Old Testament Scriptures should be enough to convince anyone that we are dealing with a supernatural piece of literature.

Of course, some theologians have said that with all of the evidence there is that Scripture is true, we can truly embrace it only with the Holy Spirit working in us to overcome our biases and prejudices against Scripture, against God. In theology, this is called the internal testimony of the Holy Spirit. I want to stress at this point that when the Holy Spirit helps me to see the truth of Scripture and to embrace the truth of Scripture, it's not because the Holy Spirit is giving me some special insight that he doesn't give to somebody else or is giving me special information that nobody else can have. All the Holy Spirit does is change my heart, change my disposition toward the evidence that is already there. I think that God himself has planted within the Scriptures an internal consistency that bears witness that this is his Word.

Answer II - (with my comments included) - here we go!

That's an excellent question because so much is at stake in the Christian faith in terms of the truthfulness of Scripture. Unbelievable that they would even make that kind of statement when they all reject the KJB and teach and preach using many different 'versions.'  Just the simple fact that this guy has this question on his site - and his worthless deceiving answer truly 'gets my goat.'  These guys in the pulpits and bookstores are simply liars!

The Bible... note that they never ever say KJB, or even whatever so called bible they do use - if for no other reason to be seen with a 'bible'.  You will see later in this 'answer' what they truly and only go by - and they believe in NO Bible at all.  But would they ever be honest and say so?  It seems that only us KJB folks can pick up on their real thoughts and intentions.

...is our primary source of information about Jesus... here ya go - all they get from anything written is only about 'information about' - not His very words, etc.

...and about all of those things we embrace as elements of our faith. I wonder what they would say are the 'elements of faith.'  I will write and ask them.

Of course, if the Bible isn't true, then professing Christians are in serious trouble. And if the 'Bible' were to be true like he says, why do they have to keep 'correcting' it - revising it - 400+ versions, etc.? In reality, they truly do NOT believe the Bible is true.

I believe the Bible is true. Lie - no he doesn't! I believe it is the Word of God. Lie - no he doesn't!  As Jesus himself declared of the Scripture, "Your word is truth." Changing 'Thy" to 'your' is proof he is lying!

But why am I persuaded that the Bible is the truth?  And which 'bible' are you talking about, oh dear pastor?  Such a liar!  He is NOT persuaded!

We need to ask a broader question first. How do we know that anything is true? Oh, let's get away from the real issue and go to logic, etc. and just confuse the readers even more.

We're asking a technical question in epistemology. Oh ya - throw in a big impressive word... Isn't that what a woman delivering a baby gets?

How do we test claims of truth? And he looks to the 'bible' for elements of faith, yet he has to 'test'?

There is a certain kind of truth that we test through observation, experimentation, eyewitness, examination, and scientific evidence. As far as the history of Jesus is concerned, as far as we know any history, we want to check the stories of Scripture using those means by which historical evidence can be tested - through archaeology, for example. So Science and archeology are his final authorities?  But if all he is doing is testing to match 'history' and stories, etc. then again, he doesn't believe the WORDS of God being preserved.

There are certain elements of the Scripture... and what is Scripture?

...such as historical claims, that are to be measured by the common standards of historiography. There ya go again, proving by history...  I invite people to do that - to check it out.  But for those people who DID check it out and learned about the KJB and Paul, they despise, reject and shame.

Second, we want to test the claims of truth through the test of rationality. Is it logically consistent, or does it speak with a "forked tongue"? We examine the content of Scripture... again, what is Scripture?

...to see if it is coherent. without rightly dividing, it actually won't seem coherent - thus we see their reason for talking like this.

Well, sure that is true a warning especially to the Jews today.  prophecy proves Jesus was the Son of God, etc. - but then we must still ask the obvious question - why so many versions?  which one do you follow?  You aren't one of those who believes in the originals, are you?  After all, there is no original, so you must be thinking you must trust the Spirit of God to tell you 'truth' - and then you can take each version, and find the truth that you believe the Holy Spirit is showing you?

Of course, some theologians have said that with all of the evidence there is that Scripture is true, we can truly embrace it only with the Holy Spirit working in us to ahh - here it is.  This is how they really believe - and the readers and listeners must then put their faith and trust into this man instead of the Scriptures - because they don't believe there are any Scriptures today - nothing is written to us / preserved to us today!  overcome our biases and prejudices against Scripture, against God. that is exactly what the King James Bible does to them - thus the reason why they hate it so!!!

Now, this next paragraph is an amazing statement from this guy.  He is such a liar!   It is a lie based on their pre-based lies and non-beliefs of what they SAY the believe.  It actually spins my brain trying to read this knowing what they really believe.  This is modern Christianity at its finest - proof of the deception and corruption of the Scriptures in those many so-called Bibles today.    I am going to highlight in red the things that they do not even believe within their own statement.

In theology, this is called the internal testimony of the Holy Spirit. In other words, there is no written preserved Scriptures today!  So, to them, there is really no 'BIBLE" as we call it today.  So unless one attends a theological seminary or college, etc. they will not be able to study the truth.

I want to stress at this point that when the Holy Spirit helps me to see the truth of Scripture and to embrace the truth of Scripture, it's not because the Holy Spirit is giving me some special insight that he doesn't give to somebody else or is giving me special information that nobody else can have.  Yet, they totally believe that the leaders, pastors, clergy, etc.  are the only ones with the Spiritual wisdom described in I Corinthians 2!

All the Holy Spirit does is change my heart, change my disposition toward the evidence that is already there. But they don't believe the inspired, preserved and perfect word of God in a KJB, so they do NOT believe the evidence that has been there for 400+ years and is still available today.

I think that God himself has planted within the Scriptures an internal consistency that bears witness that this is his Word. This final statement is EXACTLY how the devil is working in the hearts and minds today to get people ready for the coming of the Antichrist - Rev 6, instead of the true WORD OF GOD in Revelation 19.  And remember, they will not tell you where the Scriptures are to be located to test what they are saying.

So, bottom line?  They don't believe ANY written 'Bibles' let alone a KJB.  They just use the other ones to discredit the KJB.  They go by their wicked heart and their inner feelings based upon the theology of Satan himself!

Check out the temptations of Christ in the gospels.  They have fallen for the same three the devil himself offered to Jesus.  The pastors today say the same thing for their 'parishioners' to hear!  Unfortunately for the people, they don't get to hear what Jesus said referring to those three lies.  See Ephesians 4:17-21  They do not hear from Jesus Christ today as they all joyfully reject the King James Bible - or they accept the KJB but reject the teachings and WORDS of the risen Saviour.  I Timothy 6:3

The same temptations that the devil threw at Jesus are
the same things the 'pastors' and authors do to their listeners today!
Luke 4
3: And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread(They say, "If that bible you have is really the truth of God, then let's see some miracles with it!)
4: And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.  But today, these people have no word of God to live by!

5: And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.  6: And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.  7: If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.  Today's Christians have been led to believe they are 'worshipping' Christ - but we can see  in the KJB that they are actually worshipping the devil.  The modern Christian thinks that they are living for Jesus and through the power of God in their lives, their prayers are being heard and their lives are blessed, etc.!  and more...
8: And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

9: And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:  10: For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:   11: And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.  You know - touched by an angel, a rock in your pocket for prayer, your guardian angel, etc.
12: And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Bonus:
Are there anymore verses that describe these deceiving people
like the one who wrote the above answer to that question
about how to know if the Bible is true?

You bet...  here are just a few!

However, instead of me entering the verses right here for you to read, I encourage you to get out your KJB and look the verses up and read them in your own Bible.  These are common verses that I have pointed out to people for many years - but I also encourage you to not just 'think' you know them - thus not looking them up.  It does us good to always look at verses in our own Bible - make notes, or just read the verses before and after the ones listed.

I Timothy 6:3-5
I Timothy 4:1-3

Should we talk like this about these religious leaders?
Titus 2:9-16

Tell them and then move on - don't waste your time with them.  This website will continue to expose the men of darkness as well as the works of darkness.  However, in your own personal life, dear reader, say what you have to say - then move on.  You will be wasting your time - 'they are unprofitable and vain.
Titus 3:9,10

II Timothy 3:1-8
II Timothy 3:13
I Timothy 6:20,21

Certain ladies / women can be just as dangerous!
I Timothy 5:11-15

II Thessalonians 1:7-9
II Thessalonians 3:6-15 (IF a brother!)
Ephesians 5:6-12
Ephesians 2:11,12
Galatians 1:8,9
I Corinthians 5:9-13
II Corinthians 11:1-4; 13-15
Romans 1:18-32

We can always use the practice of looking up references - you just get to know what and where specific verses are in your own Bible - in case you get an opportunity to show others.  You certainly need to know your own sword, eh!
