Are You Looking
Forward
to the Tribulation?
|
Part III
Part I tells
you all the 'marvelous' opportunities you will have!
Part II contains warnings about
these coming times!
Part III contains even more warnings!
(based on Hebrews
to
Jude - Revelation - Matthew)
Reminder Note:
-
In order for these notes to make sense, you will have to have a pretty
decent understanding of what it is that Paul preaches.
-
Paul is the 'only' apostle to the Gentiles and then to the Church of God;
we are not to follow the apostles doctrine - we are to follow Paul's.
-
Understanding
Galatians 1:6, we see
that the following teachings differ from Paul's, thus these are NOT teachings
that are to be taught in every church today, as Paul states in I
Corinthians 4:17.
If we can even just begin to say that we are trying
to fully know Paul's doctrine, manner
of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,.. (II
Timothy 3:10). then we can quickly come
to an understanding that the following teachings are to be taught only
during the Tribulation, not today.
However, if you are a normal church-goer these
days, you will recognize these teachings as being 'falsely' taught and
deceptively applied today in almost every church. Thus we see a 'form
of godliness denying the power thereof;'
as well as the folly of a false Christianity today.
We should have a Christianity that should truly
be full of joy and spiritual blessings that exposes the false teachings
of tomorrow's Tribulation being taught today.
You will certainly notice that these teachings are
being taught today from America's pulpits!
Continued
from Part II...
1. Of course, you will "have"
to believe the truth - but will you know the truth for your dispensation?
-
Remember, the original plan hasn't changed, just
the method!
-
Ephesians 1:4,5 - According
as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that
we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated
us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according
to the good pleasure of his will,
-
II Thessalonians 2:13 - But
we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the
Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation through
sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth:
-
Garden of Eden - not take from
tree
-
be as gods - eating veggies, etc.
-
Noah - walk of righteousness
& conscience
-
Moses - the Law
-
OT - the Law. the voice of God,
dreams, visions, etc.
-
Jesus to the Jews
-
His teachings to the apostles / apostles
doctrine
-
Great Commission -
from Jews to the Gentiles
-
with signs, wonders, miracles, poisonous
snakes, drinking poison, signs, etc. following their salvation.
-
Risen Christ
- to the
Gentiles
-
Paul's Epistles
- salvation by faith - sin not imputed because there is no law to make
it sin, dispensation of grace, reconciliation, faith of Jesus Christ, etc.
-
Hebrews
to Jude & Revelation
4-18
-
Jesus' teachings to the apostles / apostles
doctrine / Jewish law / everlasting Gospel
-
Revelation
20-22
-
Millennium / eternity - book of life
- Matthew, etc. as gospel again...
2. You will HAVE to follow
peace with ALL men, and holiness, WITHOUT WHICH...
-
Hebrews 12:14,15 - Follow
peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:
-
Be careful of developing bitterness because of what
folks do to you:
-
Looking diligently lest any man fail of the
grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and
thereby many be defiled;
3. You will HAVE to have
a holy conversation!
-
I Peter 1:15, 16 - But
as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
-
II Peter 3:11 - Seeing
then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought
ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, (go
ahead, read the verses before and after)
-
"Conversation:" - general course of manners; behavior;
deportment; especially as it respects morals. 2. A keeping company; intimate
fellowship or association; commerce in social life. 3. Intimate and familiar
acquaintance; as a conversation with books, or other object. 4. Familiar
discourse; general chat; unrestrained talk; opposed to a formal conference.
4. You will have a DIFFERENT
assurance!
-
I John 2:3-5 -
And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar,
and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily
is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
-
I John 3:17-19 - But
whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth
up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in
him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in
tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of
the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
-
I John 3:22-24 - And
whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments,
and do those things that are pleasing in his sight. And this
is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus
Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment. And he that keepeth
his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know
that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
5. You will have to have
the Spirit of God UPON your flesh!
-
Acts 2:16-18 - But
this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to
pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon
all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your
young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on
my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit;
and they shall prophesy:
-
Do you know what that really means?
-
You MUST ACTUALLY STOP sinning!
-
I John 3:7-9 - Little
children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous,
even as he is righteous. He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the
devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested,
that he might destroy the works of the devil. Whosoever is born of God
doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin,
because he is born of God.
6. You will have to stay
on the straight path!
-
Hebrews 12:11-14 - Now
no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless
afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which
are exercised thereby. Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and
the feeble knees; And make straight paths for your feet, lest that
which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
-
God will chastise you back onto the right path!
-
Revelation 3:19 -
As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
7. You WILL NEED an advocate!
-
I John 2:1 - My
little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if
any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the
righteous:
-
An advocate is only needed in the tribulation.
-
there is no law to the Christian today - see Paul's
teachings for details.
8. Your salvation will be
DIFFERENT than today's
from the Risen Saviour through Paul's Epistles!
(unless this is what you believe today)
-
The Everlasting Gospel is not Paul's Gospel!
-
Revelation 14:6,7 - And
I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting
gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation,
and kindred, and tongue, and people, Saying with a loud voice, Fear God,
and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship
him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
-
I John 3:22 - And
whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments,
and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
-
I John 4:15 - Whosoever
shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he
in God.
-
I John 5:1-5 - Whosoever
believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one
that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By
this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep
his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his
commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever
is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh
the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but
he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
-
II Peter 3:14 - Wherefore,
beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye
may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
9. You will have to confess
all your sins - not forgetting any - not even one!
-
I John 1:9 - If
we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
-
James 2:10 - For
whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one
point, he is guilty of all.
10. You will HAVE to KNOW
different things then than you have to know today!
-
Vengeance belongeth unto me... the Lord - The Lord shall judge his people.
-
Faith without works is dead!
-
Friendship of the world is enmity with God
-
He which converteth the sinner... shall hide a multitude of sins
-
That you know him, if you keep his commandments
-
That it is the last time
-
All things
-
When he shall appear, you shall be like him: for you shall see him as he
is.
-
You 'can' know that you have passed from death unto life...
-
No murderer hath eternal life abiding in him
-
You are of the truth
-
That he abideth in you...
-
The Spirit of God
-
You love the children of God
-
He hears you, whatsoever you ask
-
Whosoever is born of God sinneth not
-
You are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness
11. You will REALLY suffer!
-
Revelation 16:6 - For
they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou
hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.
-
Revelation 12:11 - And
they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;
and they loved not their lives unto the death.
-
I Peter 2:20 -
For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall
take it patiently? but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye
take it patiently, this is acceptable with God.
-
I Peter 2:21 - For
even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving
us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
-
I Peter 3:14 -
But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and
be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;
-
I Peter 3:17 -
For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well
doing, than for evil doing.
-
I Peter 4:12,13
- Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which
is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice,
inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when
his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
-
I Peter 4:19 -
Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit
the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful
Creator.
-
I Peter 5:10 -
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by
Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you
perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
12. You will receive GRACE
if..., and then, only at the end!
-
I Peter 1:13 - Wherefore
gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for
the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
-
They can 'get' the grace when they need it:
-
Hebrews 4:16 -
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain
mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
-
I Peter 5:5 - Likewise,
ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject
one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud,
and giveth grace to the humble.
-
The issue of grace is to have grace for others!
-
Hebrews 12:15 - Looking
diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness
springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
-
Hebrews 12:28 - Wherefore
we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace,
whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
-
Hebrews 13:9 - Be
not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a good thing
that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which
have not profited them that have been occupied therein.
-
I Peter 4:10 - As
every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another,
as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
-
II Peter 3:18 - But
grow
in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.
