These are many of the questions that people / kids ask 'Why"?
These will be answered from the Issues of Life Summer Sermon Series
- 2013.
First, we realize that the answer to these questions will make us
the 'enemy' to most folks:

Family
-
Friends
-
Fellow Workers
-
Neighbors
-
Modern Christians
-
You won't even like some of the answers yourself and so you yourself will
be your own enemy!
Here are a few of the questions I hear these days!

1. Success in life? Mixed blessings or the just and unjust,
etc.

2. Where is God today? Alive, dead, involved daily in our lives?

3. Why does God allow all the suffering and hate today?
-
4. Why is there so much hatred today?
-
5. Where does all this hatred come from?
-
6. How can so many people be so hateful?
-
7. Do we 'need' the 'goodness' of Religion?
-
8. Religion - why so many different teachings, denominations, bibles,
books, videos, etc. hypocrites, etc.
-
9. Why are so many of my prayers are unanswered?
-
10. Why are so many of my / others prayers seem wrong - hurtful -
unanswered.
-
11. Why so much 'worship' emphasis in churches today?
-
12. Why has 'church' changed so much in the last 20 years?
-
13. Are we to 'follow' God, or Jesus, or Peter, or Apostles, or Moses,
or Paul, or Revelation, or all the Bible, Gospels only, etc.?
-
14. Why does it seem that young people / teens are so clue less to
being sincere?
-
15. Why does it seem that young people are puzzled about life, apathetic,
sexual, prideful, non teachable - they just have no clue to almost anything
these days?

16. The challenge of marriage - so much divorce? What's going
on?

17. What about divorced / remarried pastors?
-
18. What do / should we pray for?
-
19. What about the growing perversions? Are they perversions?
-
20. Music today - so much of it everywhere; seems to be impossible
for people to live without? in church?

21. Is there such a thing as 'christian' music vs secular?
-
22. What about Scriptures today? Where are they? Pure?
Preserved? Inerrant? "Perfect"? Archaic? Changed over
time?

23. How do people please God in the dispensations? Aged men
and women, young men and women, kids, etc.?
-
24. What and when does the 'goodness of God' and the 'severity of
God' be affective?
-
25. Election - do we have a choice?
-
26. Do we have to 'flee' when we want to quit?
-
27. What about the threat of bible correctors and the plagues, etc.?
-
28. Do we need baptisms and the Lord's Supper / Communion, etc. today?
-
29. How can a person truly 'follow' Paul?
-
30. Salvation for your soul - which 'design'? Can you lose it?
Can it be faked? Do we even need it? Isn't everyone a child
of God?
-
31. Where and what is truth today?
-
32. What about public / private / home education today?
-
33. What about all the news on curriculums in public education?
-
34. What about the level that sports has attained in the lives of
boys / girls in schools?
-
35. is the world really as bad as you say it is? How so?
-
36. What about 'masculinized women' and effeminated men?
-
37. Do we really have the liberty to pursue happiness?
-
38. What about the Constitution?
-
39. Why do we often suffer when we do the right thing?
-
40. What does doing the 'right' thing mean today?
-
41. What about those 'good people' who don't suffer?
-
42. What about those 'bad people' who don't suffer?
-
43. Why does God take away my parents / friends, etc. in death and
at seemingly the wrong time?
-
44. Why does God do what He does today?
-
45. Has truth changed over the years?
