Magnificence of so-called "Lord's Supper / Communion"
must be despised and destroyed!
Acts 19:21-41

The Lord's Supper - Communion
I Corinthians 11:23-34 It is as it reads - for then, not today!

They had to be worthy!
If not, they would get sick and some would die!
They had to judge themselves, etc. or else God would.

God would chasten!

Purpose: to remember his death.

But just like He stated in John 6, it was not really his body and his blood.

For one thing: He hadn't even died yet!.
The second thing: It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing; the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. John 6:63
They had no bible to remember his death, etc.

The Lord's Supper - Communion Today
I Corinthians 11:23-34

John 13:2

And supper being ended..."

This is what took place at the beginning of the supper. He was not telling us to do the same today.

It was to be carried out through those biblical days up to 1611 when the KJB was 'completed!'. As described, those things did take place - then!

I Corinthians 13:8-10 shows the importance of 'communion' with the Lord 'before' the KJB and now today, 'with' the KJB. See next column...

Note: It is also not one of the 'two' ordinances.

It never says 'two' anywhere!

It was never given as an ordinance to do!

Do we need to do the Lord's Supper today to remember his death?

Ritual?
Tradition?
Ordinance?
Requirement?

for salvation?
for confession of sins?
for receiving Holy Spirit?
for church membership?
for body of Christ membership?
Closed Communion?
Close Communion?
Convenient Communion?
Clinic Communion?

Types

Transubstantiation?
Consubstantiation?
Covenant Theology - Passover?
Reformed View - Sacrament?
Fellowship / Communion?

Requirements? age? knowledge?
wine? - grape juice?
unleavened bread? - crackers? - manufactured wafer?
single loaf of bread? - pieces?
shot glasses? - paper Dixie cups? - glasses?
denominational differences in design?
how oft is oft? weekly? monthly? yearly? every dinner? supper?
etc. - what a mess, eh!

personal comment: sometimes, I think we are so ignorant and lazy and selfish, we NEED religion and all the threats and guilt that comes with it to get us to do right - even if just occasionally - and even if it will all burn in the end... as will you, if this is what you believe you must follow religion today.

Till he comes!

Has he not come spiritually - are we not in a spiritual kingdom at this time? Yes! Romans 14:17
So, he HAS come spiritually in that KJB - I Corinthians 13:10.

We no longer are told to do the 'supper' - 'communion' - 'Lord's supper.'
He will come again for the dinner - Revelation 19!

We have even more to know and remember and that is from the King James Bible today!

If you want to "commune" and "sup" with God, read Your KJB and pray and listen to His answers AS YOU READ - because that is where you will find his answers today!

...and then to us through the King James Bible by the Holy Ghost!
