 Times are Tough,
But Not Too Tough For Us!
Part II
General Outline of the audio sermon

 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;
Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;
II Corinthians 4:8,9

Read all of II Corinthians 4:6-11
How did Paul keep from being distressed when he was 'troubled on every side"?
How did Paul keep from falling into despair and things were so perplexing?
How did Paul not feel forsaken when he was persecuted?
How did Paul not feel destroyed when he was cast down?

Now, put YOUR name in there and ask yourself the same questions.

  • We ought to be troubled on every side today, yet not distressed!
  • We ought to be perplexed these days, but not be in despair!
  • We ought to not feel forsaken just because we are being persecuted for our walk today!
  • We ought to not feel destroyed when we are cast down for trying to walk according to Paul!
  • 1.  We know the times we are in today!
    II Thessalonians 2:1-4
    2.  We know about those who don't understand, believe, etc.
    Romans 1
    I Timothy 6:3-5
    II Timothy 3:1-8
    3.  We are not to be entangled in the affairs of this life!
    II Timothy 2:4
    4.  We are not to get involved in wasted questions:
    I Timothy 1:4
    I Timothy 6:4
    II Timothy 2:23
    Titus 3:9
    5.  Learn to live the risen life by following Paul's Manner of Life!

    The entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO us!
    We learn from the "For" and we learn to apply the 'TO!"
    These writings of Paul are directly from the Risen Saviour to Paul...
    ...and then to us through the King James Bible by the Holy Ghost!
