 Times are Tough,
But Not Too Tough For Us!
Part I
General Outline of the audio sermon

1.  Do you always want something new from this website and audio sermons?
see Acts 17:21
2.  Do you always want to see more people here for the sake of 'successful' website and numbers?
see I Timothy 6:5
3.  Do you want to study these and maybe here them 'repeated' so you can actually LEARN how to live the risen life?
see I Corinthians 3
If you have the right foundation but are ignoring your building materials in your yard, the weeds will eventually overtake your materials and it will fall apart.  Paul is our wise masterbuilder and so we should be doing all we can to build on our foundation, etc.  I Corinthians 3.

Times are tough and are getting tougher.

Are we being persecuted for our faith today?  You hear it from folks all the time, but to show you, that is not the issue today.  We are not being persecuted for our faith; that is a tribulation issue.

I.  We tend to forget (thanks to religion)
    a.  This world belongs to the devil.
    b.  He will soon be coming down to try to claim it for himself.
    c.  He is called:
        1.  God of this world
        2.  Prince of the power of the air
        3.  Prince of this world

God is letting things go on without His interference!
Romans 2:4,5

II.  Read II Peter 3 to see when it truly changes!

III.  Remember Romans 11:22

Yes, times are tough... but it is not our faith being tried today!
That is tribulation persecution Our persecution is because we are trying to live 'godly' according to Paul's teachings! We have HIS faith today! We are living in the dispensation of grace!
Yes, we are clean on the inside.
According to Romans 6, now we 'choose' to whom we serve.

Do or Don't?
Will you or Won't you?
Works burn or not to burn?
Love Him or love ourselves?
Serve law of God with our mind or serve the law of sin with our flesh?
A good Testimony is important to us or not?
Do 'it yourself with God's scriptural guidance' or wait for the magic Jesus to fix things...?
Swim to the end - or float on broken pieces?

It's a war going on, there is no doubt.  however, the war is not 'out there'?

We leave with a question...

During all the troubles and persecutions, etc. that Paul had,
how did he not be distressed,
be in despair,
not feel forsaken or
cast down?
See Part II for the answer!

The entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO us!
We learn from the "For" and we learn to apply the 'TO!"
These writings of Paul are directly from the Risen Saviour to Paul...
...and then to us through the King James Bible by the Holy Ghost!
