 Opportunity Knocks Again
Part I

As we are preparing for our move to North Dakota, we will spend our last month in South Dakota looking at some of Paul's teachings.  So few people today know these things so that in all reality,  these folks are ignorantly worshipping an unknown God instead of the true RISEN SAVIOUR.  However, when we/you show up, they suddenly have  that opportunity to learn these things, too.   We have come to know plenty about the living God and so we will review those things that we have learned through reading, studying, preaching and teaching from our rightly divided King James Bible.

You will need to turn your sound 'way up' for the a.m. video.

 Blogginesses One

These are my scriptural 'thoughts' on the following topics: 1) When people say, "God was with me..." when they are in a war, accident, etc. but not thinking about how it sounds to others... and is it true? 2) Are you upset about 'same-sex' marriages?  Chances are, you already have one in your home, only with different parts; 3) A quick email showing how 'ecumenicalism' thinks.

Study worksheet on Paul's manner of life.

It isn't just 'what' we do that is important as a sincere Christian; it is also 'how' we do what we do as Christians.  Knowing that the risen Saviour tells us to follow Paul as our wise masterbuilder and that we should take heed in how we buildeth thereupon, then let us look to Paul's manner of life as our material to build thereupon.  Let's not try to 'imitate' Paul's life, as the modern bibles say, but let's look to the scriptures to see how we are to follow Paul's manner of life.

This is a bible study that is taken from 24 sermons that are available on line starting with June 5, 2011.  Each sermon has written notes but may I suggest you do your own search for these points.  Print this page and then in the space under each point, list the Scripture references as you find them.

Manner of Life Summary & Review

We do a review of ALL of the facets of HOW we are to be as a sincere Christian - not just 'what' we do!  Surely a review of these wouldn't hurt you - and for you 'young'uns, this will be good for you!

The Rest of the Story - Elijah
I Kings 19:13; II Kings 1
Matthew 17:1-8; Revelation 11

Because I was in ND for most of the weekend - and having not yet recovered from no sleep, we again turn to the past.  We are looking at lesson 22 as we travelled through the OT to see what is in it FOR us, but not TO us. What can we learn from Elijah?

SS classes were not recorded on video.

"Review Major OT Characters
Up to Divided Kingdom"

Again, because I was in ND for most of the weekend, tonight we look at the OT characters that we have looked at up to the Divided Kingdom.  How well do you know the stories of the OT people?  Great stuff here about teaching the OT people to your kids - AND for yourself!

SS classes were not recorded on video.
