We are going to be doing a sermon from the 'Prime' of my preaching days followed with  live "Older" years follow-up comments.

Until I am settled in my move to ND, I will do those 'live fresh' sermons as time allows.

'Live Today' Introduction and 'Live Today' After-Sermon Comments
now all included in one sermon!

Click on title if underlined for written notes to follow along.
Note: The written notes often contain more information than what is heard on the audio.

Please note:  the sound quality isn't always the best because the main sermons were often recorded
on a pocket digital recorder in 2007,2008 and 2009 when I was pastoring in Touchet,

Are You In Your Latter Times?
January 17, 2010

Giving heed to seducing spirits and doctrines of devils?  It happens to a lot of people - and they end up departing from the faith.  How can this happen?  Can this happen to you?  What all too easily happens to you as your 'time flies by'?

"King James 1611 Bible"
from January 4, 2009

We finish #1 with an oral quiz review.  We then look at what other Bible versions say about rightly dividing - they say NOTHING!  It is very interesting to what they DO say about that verse, though!  Click here for quiz 1 to take with your family or by yourself.

In the "Live After Comments", we talk about the "Why KJB 1611 ONLY'" and is included within the main audio sermon. The video portion is separate.

"Leviticus / Numbers"
from January 28, 2007

We are going through the rest of the Bible - all the stuff OTHER than Paul - and seeing what is in those other 39 books that is there FOR us to learn as our ensample, etc.  Remember, NOT to follow, but to learn from!  This session discusses Leviticus and Numbers.

In the "Live After Comments", we talk about the "The Law to a 'Believer' Today..." and is included within the main audio sermon only - the video portion is separate.

Absolute Music for an Absolute God
Part I

Ask yourself this question: "Does my music please God?"  This is a series that will explain the design of a music that we can play and listen to that will please God. Yes, there IS a music that pleases God.  Of course, it must be absolute music because He is an absolute God!  This is an introduction to Shem, Ham and Japheth and their influence in music history.

Rightly Dividing
from January 4, 2009

Click here for quiz 2.  We review rightly dividing by practicing our 'napkin' drawings again - how to show a friend what rightly dividing looks like on a restaurant napkin, etc.  We also look at a few other areas that rightly dividing most certainly helps us understand.

"Numbers - Deuteronomy"
from February 4, 2007

This session finishes Numbers and gets into Deuteronomy. We continue to learn about 'the way of God' during the Old Testament.  People get so mad at God for 'unloving ways' during the OT.  They are wrong!  God gave His Spirit upon them when they were doing right.  And for the Gentiles / Heathen, He gave them a conscience (Romans 1 & 2).  And for us today, He actually paid the penalty for sin.  They just don't know the truth about God.  They have an unknown God so they trust in themselves; we know the Living God and we trust in Him!  I hope you trust in His words, too, in the King James 1611 Bible.

Absolute Music for an Absolute God
Part II

This is an attempt to show you a quick history of the music of Japheth as it is quickly compared to the music of Ham & Shem.  We are looking for a standard of music that we know has pleased God in the past so that we can have a standard for music today to prove that which is acceptable unto the Lord.

However, because I botched the sound towards the end of this sermon, the audio to this sermon is in two parts.  Part II will be next.

In this sermon, see how God 'enlarged' Japheth in the area of music!  Even though these are generalized teachings, I would encourage music students as well as musicians to look into this particular approach in a detailed manner - it is a fascinating study - nothing as to what you had been taught in your average music appreciation class!  There are 19 pages of notes - most of which is a general 'history' of Japheth music.

The last 15 minutes has poor sound.  It has been so long, I forgot what happened then!

Tough Times Today,
But Not Too Tough For Us !
Part I
Times are tough and will continue to get tougher.  Is it God's will today that we are to be persecuted 'for our faith?"  No!  Any persecution we get today is because we are trying to live a life to please God.  We have HIS faith - and so truly, faith is not the issue today.  However, in the tribulation, they will have their faith constantly under trial.  Listen to the details in this sermon.

As we are living in the dispensation of grace, listen to the scriptures explain the real issues today for us as sincere christians; don't get caught up in the false bible preaching gospel about our faith being under attack today.

Tough Times Today,
But Not Too Tough For Us !
Part II
While Paul was troubled on every side, how did he keep himself from being distressed?  How did Paul manage to be perplexed but not in despair?  How did Paul keep from feeling forsaken while he was being persecuted.  How did Paul not allow himself to feel destroyed each time he was cast down?

Can we claim the same victories in our personal lives as we look around and hear the news, etc. and be so troubled by all we see and hear all that is going on.  How can we be so perplexed by what we see and hear but yet not fall in despair?  Every time we get persecuted for our walk (not for our faith) as we try to do the right thing, how do we keep from feeling forsaken?  And we are cast down for our daily walk, how can we not feel destroyed?

Paul did it, can we?  Sure thing!  Listen to this sermon and hear what the Scriptures say to each of us today!

Classic Bible Verses on Music
Updated 'live' sermon for 2012

What can we learn from Moses, Amos, David, Saul and Paul about music?  What about worship today?  Is it as great as people make out to be?  What does God say about music today?

This is an updated sermon on what I have preached on for years about the 'classic' verses in the KJB.  This is a general summary of the detailed sermons found at www.paulsonmusic.com but is certainly enough for people to handle today in 2012.

'Before' Paul
from January 18, 2009

Click here for quiz 3 taken from last week's part III

This seems to be the most misunderstood part of Biblical Understanding.  The Old Testament is full of absolutely fantastic information that we should know, but it certainly is not written TO us.  It never was intended to be taught TO be applied by any Gentiles - heathen, etc.

The Gospels are still part of the Old Testament, as you will see in the notes or hear in the audio.

And then we have the first 8 chapters of Acts - better known as the Great Commission.  For some reason, the Bible seems to stop there for pastors and their listeners / followers.

Listen to this - and read the notes - and you will get a better understanding of it all.

Deuteronomy"
from February 11, 2007

We finish Deuteronomy today.  I tell ya, it is hard not to just preach & teach all this stuff in detail - it is fascinating to see how God operated during the OT times!  You certainly must read it all for yourself!

Tonight, we try to just look again at an overall view of these OT books to see what is in them FOR us - and there certainly is plenty!  Chapters 28 & 32 - these are great chapters!  We must still seriously remember that those books are NOT written TO us; however, they sure are written FOR us to learn - and that ought to make us VERY thankful, eh!

Guns and God

What does the Bible say about Guns?  Well, from what I have read from pastors and other writers, they truly have no clue about rightly dividing the word of truth.

How did God handle thieves and robbers, etc. in the OT.  What did Jesus say about self-defense for the apostles?  Did Jesus need a gun?  Do we need a gun today?  Is owning and using a gun taking vengeance into your own hands?  Can / Should a Christian carry his bible AND a gun?

This 'issue' has an extremely simple answer - and a simple explanation!  Do you really want to know?  Listen in!

How to Understand the KJB #5
Enter Paul

We look at the exact and obvious verses that are more than convincing that we are to follow Paul and the teachings of the Risen Christ, NOT the teachings of Jesus that he taught to the Jews in the Gospels. This is the basic foundational stuff we can and should show folks!

Note that the sermon length may appear to be longer than usual - it is only that we began including the congregational singing at the beginning of the regular am & pm services.  Ah - such great memories.

I will off-line tonight until I finish my move to ND.

Joshua
