Another after-school meeting kept me from presenting "live" tonight, but here is a sermon that was the result of many conversations at a fair booth that prompted me to preach about modern pastors and how folks just continue to listen to their pastor's lies. Presented way back in 2006, we see even more relevance today.

We look at the following 'deceptions' as taught from the pulpits today: 4) God loves everyone; 5) Popish Pastors; 6) We are created in God's image today; 7) Jesus is coming 'next'; 8) "Final" Judgment; 9) America can be fixed with prayer & peace, etc.

We conclude the mini-series with the series with the following 'deceptions;' 10) Modesty today; 11) no male/female roles are necessary if 'it' works for gain; 12) a righteous walk will please God; 13) our goal is to stop sinning and confess what we mess up so we won't lose our fellowship with God; 14) today's 'worship' & music pleases God. 

These pastoral evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse with their good words and fair speeches, deceiving the simple, and being deceived themselves until their 'followers' open up their King James Bible and see for themselves the lies their favorite, lovable and caring pastor is teaching.

We look at more detail of Paul's ministry - part III: Showing us God's grace; how to turn to the Living God; the works that would be meet for repentance; and showing us an ensample on how to pray for others as well as our own personal spiritual goals.

What is so magnificent about today's religion, anyway?  Why do so many folks return to it; why do so many folks make their own; why do "Paul" folks even turn their stuff into a religion?  Here are some comments about many of their reasons that 'religion' is so magnificent.  Remember though, we are to destroy that magnificence!

Revival from the East as CCM star Carmon says?  Pastors are preaching for a revival but any revival today will come from the East - and that revival is just more preparation from the anti-christ, NOT from God.

   Ok, after all that about destroying all the various 'magnificences' of religion, let's park (as they say in the 'tough' churches) on the pastors and see just who the 'bad' pastors are and what the risen Saviour says about them. 
   If you are a pastor today, I would fasten your seat belt, you might not make it through the sermon. 
   If you are not a pastor, you will find out if your pastor is one of these or not.  But then again, if you love your pastor no 'matter what,' I suggest you don't listen to this sermon - you don't want to find out that he is one of the bad guys!

   This morning, we had verified scripturally just who the 'bad' pastors are today.  Tonight we learn what the risen Saviour says about them in very specific terms.
   If you are a pastor today and you made it through the first sermon this morning, then maybe you will actually make it through this sermon tonight. 
   If you are not a pastor, then you may understand totally what the Lord has to say about them!  But then again, if you love your pastor no 'matter what,' I suggest you don't listen to this sermon - you won't like what the Lord says about him!

Now let's start looking at what the King James Bibles says are correct 'detail's' of the ministry of a pastor, teacher, evangelist and missionary today.  Of course the KJB must be rightly divided according to Paul or you just have more confusion.  The Risen Saviour has specific words to the pastors today and so we begin this series this morning.  My apologies 'again:' The video is missing the first 20 minutes of introduction, but all of the teaching is in its entirety in both video and mp3.  Only the video is minus the introduction.

We start with II Timothy 2:15,16 of course as well as II Timothy 4:2-8,10,17.

Tonight we look at: I Timothy 6:11-14; 17:21; 4:6-10; 11-16; I Thessalonians 1:7-10

First, we see what/who the right foundation is.  Many folks may have the wrong right foundation.  Then, we deal with what Paul preaches on repentance.  Having the right right foundation is necessary in order to appreciate what Paul teaches us about repentance.  Even though this is certainly good and exciting news, I don't suspect many of the Bible College graduates will see this one, either.
