Review from Part I

We looked at unanswered prayer!

• John 14:13-14......... ask in my name?
• John 15:7 ................ abide in him and his words abide in you?
• John 16;16 .............. ask in his name / ordained to bring forth fruit?
• Matthew 7:7-8 .......  ask and given / seek and find / knock and be opened?
• Matthew 21:21-22 ...have faith - ask believing

John 16:16-23

• these prayers will be answered as He stated after the Second Coming!
• now, ye shall be sorrowful - soon turned unto joy!
• in THAT DAY - second coming
• Then, you will ask the Father, in His name (Jesus).

But today, we have the dispensation of Grace through Paul, THE Apostle.  Ephesians 3

We are winding down - falling away - apostasy - not just in the 'church' but in the world.
II Thessalonians 2:1-4
We are nearing the hour of temptation - Revelation 3:10 - but we will be kept from it!

Christ warned his Jews about being deceived by false Christs, etc.
Matthew 24:4,5,11,24

We understand - 1) folly of religion; 2) deceived by good words!

People have a form of godliness!  II Timothy 3:5,14, II Timothy 4:3,4; I Timothy 2:9-12; 5:11-15; I Timothy 6:1; II Timothy 2:16; Ephesians 4:210,21

• 'Sincere' christians are not turning away -
• some are even marrying into it!
• Creeping into houses
• not homes - houses!
• Ever learning
• never ABLE to come ot he knowledge of the truth
• not 'the' truth - but TRUTH!
• Resist the truth
• corruptible minds
• reprobate concerning THE faith
• not just faith, but THE faith!
• Not endure sound doctrine
• They have itching ears to hear what feeds their own lusts!
• they have selective hearing, etc.
• They will find teachers who will teach what they want to hear!
• Those teachers will only teach what their listeners want to hear!
• good money
• that gain will prove godliness to them and to the hearers!
• They turn their ears from the truth
• They will turn their ears unto fables!
• There are those MEN who blaspheme the name of God and His doctrine.
• at the workplace - steal, argue, gossip, criticize, strike, etc. towards the boss!
• There are those WOMEN who blaspheme the word of God.
• not sober, not love husband, not love their children, not discreet, not chaste, not keepers at home, not obedient to THEIR OWN husband!
• These women have cast off their first faith!
• These women give plenty occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully
• Turned aside after Satan!
• They are following profane and vain babblings!
• Those words eat as doth a canker
• The people increase unto more ungodliness as they think that their gain is godly
• They do not consent to wholesome words -  even especially the words of our Lord Jesus Christ
• they do not consent to the doctrine which is according to godliness (following Paul only!)
• Even the "Paul people" don't stand with Paul's words in the tough times.
• Very little Paul testimony showing a manner of entering in by turning to God from idols to serve the living and true God.
• Where are those faithful Paul followers teaching others what they have heard from Paul?

• We know of the things we have learned and hast been assured of knowing of whom we have learned them!
• We have heard from the Risen Christ - through the KJB and Paul, etc.
• We are reminded to not let anyone despise us!
• How?  Read Titus 3

The entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO us!
We learn from the "For" and we learn to apply the 'TO!"
These writings of Paul are directly from the Risen Saviour to Paul...
...and then to us through the King James Bible by the Holy Ghost!
