One of the great things about reading Paul's testimony, we see that the people we meet as we try to present our testimony have similiar stories as the people Paul met.  So, let's learn from Felix this morning.  What caused Felix to tremble yet reject what Paul said?  Why did Felix want to wait for a convenient season to talk again?  Oh yes, you want to hear the answer to that one, men!

We see another of 'our friends' in Festus and King Agrippa.  Once again, we see why King Agrippa was 'almost' persuaded...  And Festus?  Yes, we all have met a few Festus's in our days.

     This is Biblical counseling at it's finest!  There is no psychology here or fancy words, etc.  This is learning from a shipwreck that Paul participated in and how it could have been avoided if only they had heeded Paul's words. 
     The same could be said for us who are living lives that are heading to a shipwreck in one way or another.  These are phrases, not just verses, that truly show us practical application today. 

     Jude is NOT written TO us today even though a few professors and pastors claim the first few verses prove it to be true.  So, not only will we prove that once again, we can still see the warnings that Jude has to the Tribulation saints that see are coming around the corner more and more. 
     It has to be getting close folks... but it isn't here because we are still here, along with a few other reasons.  But let's take some admonition here and see if we are being caught up today with what Jude is warning for those involved tomorrow!

  As we continue to read the warnings that will be spoken during the Tribulation, we look at the 'Way of Cain' which makes us think, "Are we part of the falling away because we tend to lean towards the Way of Cain?" 
     It is true that we don't have to worry about the consequences of these warnings, but our works will most certainly burn if they have any hint of the 'Way of Cain.' 
     Do you what the way of Cain is?  Well, here you go - the answer!

Does the Risen Saviour ever wish us to be 'merry' today?

We look at the way of Balaam and the doctrine of Balaam as well as his error.  We see from this study that most pastors in the pulpits today are Balaam imitations. 
Unfortunately, we can be just as guilty ourselves. But as time takes us closer and closer to the Tribulation, we see the increase of Cainites, Balaamites and Coreites in the pulpits today.

'Gainsaying' is denying / contradicting / opposing.  When Korah gainsayed against Moses, God had him and his followers swallowed up by the earth for disobeying God's words - not just Moses.

Aren't we thankful that we don't have to worry about that in this dispensation of grace!  But they will have to worry about it in the Tribulation. 

The point of this series is for us to recognize these things as the Tribulation draws nearer than folks want to admit.

Leaving out the 'distracting' references, here is the list of things that these 'guys' will be doing during the fearful Tribulation.  However, note that can already see that many of these things are being done in the pulpits today.  Today, while the soft 'gospels' pastors and reverends are preaching the 'love' of God messages, the 'serious' bible preachers are preaching a tribulation message of fearing God.  Neither ones are preaching Paul's 'goodness of God' message.

However - we see and hear it already today as the pastors today preach their false gospel of 'gospel love of God' and 'Tribulational fear of God' instead of the 'goodness of God' through Paul!

See all the 'facts' of the Tribulation preachers in one sermon list.  Maybe you will recognize these things & men in your own church pulpit.  The love gospel of the 'yesterday' is preached by the common denominations; the fear gospel of 'tomorrow' is preached by the serious bible preacher; but they all ignore Paul's gospel of the goodness of God and that is the only gospel that is to be preached today.
