Paul's Manner of Life
Part IX
General Outline of verses used in audio sermon

Are you tired of the persecutions, rejections, arguments, the 'hate' you receive ... and all you are trying to do is live to serve and please God by following Paul's 'ways' and making those changes in your life - or at least trying... - as the Scriptures tell us to do?

Maybe we have been sincere in our trying to do Paul's ways
but NOT IN HIS 'MANNER' OF DOING THOSE WAYS?

Let's consider these things as we learn to live Paul's ways - the ways taught to us by the Risen Saviour.  Without considering these things listed below, we may be doing more damage to our 'listeners' than we realize.
For meat destroy not the work of God.
All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
Romans 14:20

Paul's Manner of Life to Us
Review:

12.  Patience
Having patience is important in the Gospels and in the Tribulation, however, it is not mentioned during the Great Commission nor is it even mentioned in the Old Testament, even though it was exhibited - James 5:10 - Take, my brethren, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of the Lord, for an example of suffering affliction, and of patience.

Gospels

Asking the Lord to have patience on them!

Patience brought forth fruit... Patience was important enough that without it, they could lose their soul over it!

Tribulation
No patience? No Inheritance! No patience?  No receiving of the promise! Because of being 'watched,' lay aside the 'big' sin you have and have patience! Tribulation worketh patience, today! The importance of patience then! Until the coming of the Lord... again, this isn't to us today! It was & will be all about enduring unto the end!  Jewish illustration - OT. Temperance is added to patience... again, different than Paul's writings! Part of the testimony of Jesus Christ! We see that patience still had to do with Paul's doctrine.  It is a factor during the time of the Gentiles. Will be part of their salvation!

Patience Today - look to Paul's writings from the Risen Saviour

Tribulation - not the 'trying of our faith!'

We aren't to be seeking signs! We are to continue reading the Old Testament - there is a purpose! Patience towards others! Patience from the preachers, too! Past tense - for the Jews before Paul left them and went to Gentiles only! Patience with joyfulness... Our own patience is still important and is part of our testimony!
