Part V
General Outline of verses used in audio sermon

Are you tired of the persecutions, rejections, arguments, the 'hate' you receive ... and all you are trying to do is live to serve and please God by following Paul's 'ways' and making those changes in your life - or at least trying... - as the Scriptures tell us to do?

Maybe we have been sincere in our trying to do Paul's ways
but NOT IN HIS 'MANNER' OF DOING THOSE WAYS?

Let's consider these things as we learn to live Paul's ways - the ways taught to us by the Risen Saviour. Without considering these things listed below, we may be doing more damage to our 'listeners' than we realize. For meat destroy not the work of God.
All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
Romans 14:20

Paul's Manner of Life to Us Review:

1. Discover!
2. Decide!
3. Depart, in spite of others!
4. Despise for the sake of others!
5. Destroy for the sake of others!
6. Prayer for others!

New Tonight:

7. Tears for others

II Timothy 1:4 - Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy;
II Corinthians 2:4 - For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.
Acts 20:19 - Serving the Lord with all humility of mind, and with many tears, and temptations, which befell me by the lying in wait of the Jews:
Acts 20:31 - Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.
Not to us today - but stll there for us to know when, etc. and to expose false teachers, etc.

Hebrews 12:17 - For ye know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.
Revelation 7:17 - For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
Revelation 21:4 - And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

8. Grace towards others

Old Testament / Trib books, but not to us...

We don't have to hope we 'find' grace from God... or from others? - Genesis 6:8
We don't have to hope we earn grace from God... or others? - Genesis 32:5
We don't have to 'worry' about grace from God... or others? - "IF" - Exodus 33:13
We don't have to look to 'grace' as a sign from ... or others? Judges 6:17
We don't have to walk uprightly to receive God's grace... Psalm 84:11
We don't have to be 'lowly' to deserve grace from God... Proverbs 3:34
I Peter 5:5 - must be humble?
I Peter 1:13 - hope to the end for grace to brought to you?
James 4:6 - must be humble?
Hebrews 13:9 - heart be established with grace - meat does not profit us?
Hebrews 4:16 - have to find it?

Only 4 time in Gospels

Luke 2:40 - And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.
John 1:14 - And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
John 1:16,17 - And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
How about these and others similiar... is it grace to others or blessings to you for doing these - then it really isn't a true grace, eh?

turn the other cheek; blessed are the meek; blessed are the peacemakers; agree with thine adversary quickly; resist not evil; love your enemies;
bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despiteflly use you, and persecute you... that ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven?????
forgive men - you will be forgiven, etc. judge not, that ye be not judged... for with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: etc.

New Testament - Paul - us towards others...

Galatians 4:14 - And my temptation which was in my flesh ye despised not, nor rejected; but received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus.
Romans 5:20 - Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
Romans 6:14 - For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
Romans 12:3 - For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
Romans 15:15 - Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,
I Corinthians 1:4 - I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;
I Corinthians 10:30* - For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?
I Corinthians 16:23 - The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
II Corinthians 1:12 - For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.
II Corinthians 6:1 - We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.
II Corinthians 8:7 - Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also.
II Corinthians 9:8 - And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
Galatians 2:9* - And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.
Ephesians 2:5 - Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Ephesians 3:2 - If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
Ephesians 3:8 - Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
Ephesians 4:29 - Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
Philippians 1:7 - Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.
Colossians 4:6 - Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
II Timothy 2:1 - Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

We learn from the "For" and we learn to apply the 'TO!"
These writings of Paul are directly from the Risen Saviour to Paul...
...and then to us through the King James Bible by the Holy Ghost!
