Part X - Honesty
General Outline of
verses used in audio sermon
Are you tired
of the persecutions, rejections, arguments, the 'hate' you receive ...
and all you are trying to do is live to serve and please God by following
Paul's 'ways' and making those changes in your life - or at least trying...
- as the Scriptures tell us to do?
Maybe we have been sincere in
our trying to do Paul's ways
but NOT IN HIS 'MANNER' OF DOING
THOSE WAYS?
Let's consider these things as we
learn to live Paul's ways - the ways taught to us by the Risen Saviour.
Without considering these things listed below, we may be doing more damage
to our 'listeners' than we realize.
For
meat destroy not the work of God.
All
things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.
Romans
14:20

13. Honesty
Here a few thoughts and words on honesty
as a Christian within this sermon.
Paul's 'crew' - last of the apostles
I Corinthians
4:9-21
I Corinthians
9:2
II Corinthians
6:6+ (we as
ambassadors of Christ - reconciled to God - are made the righteousness
of God in him - see 5:20,21)
in much patience
in afflictions
in necessities
in distresses
in stripes
in imprisonments
in tumults
in labours
in watchings
in fastings
by pureness
by kjnowledge
by longsuffering
by kindness
by Holy Ghost (Galatians
5:22-26)
by love unfeigned (truthful
- real)
by word of truth
by power of God (KJV today)
by armour of rightesousness -
on right and left hand (KJB)
by honour and dishonour
by evil report and good report
as deceives, and yet true
as unknown, and yet well known
as dying, and behold we live
as chastend, and not killed
as sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing
as poor, yet making many rich
as having nothing, and yet possessing
all things.
Then, also read
11-13 to top it all off!
WE are enlarged with these things,
too.
See I Corinthians
13:11
See Ephesians
4:14
Paul takes
pleasures in infirmities - can we?
II Corinthians
12:9,10
II Corinthians
5:15 - we are a new creature!
Honesty
II Corinthians
13:7-10; 11-14
Romans
13:13

The entire
King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO us!
We learn
from the "For" and we learn to apply the 'TO!"
These writings
of Paul are directly from the Risen Saviour to Paul...
...and
then to us through the King James Bible by the Holy Ghost!
