Dear Despiser,
       (Acts 13:14-41).
Sincerely,
Paul
Acts 13:41 - Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.

Read what Paul says in the synagogue on the sabbath day in Antioch in Acts 13:14-41; Read Acts 13:42-52 for the follow up to Paul's message - the same follow-up we receive today when telling folks about Paul's teachings.

He is talking to the "John crowd" and how that is past and what he has to say to them now.  The Gentiles catch on but the Jews, the devout and honourable women and the chief men of the city just don't get.  We are done with what John (The Gospels) have to say - now listen to Paul.

They despised then and they despise today:
P.S. - Read Acts 13:42-52 for the follow-up to Paul's message - the same follow-up we receive today when telling folks about Paul's teachings.

The entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO us!
We learn from the "For" and we learn to apply the 'TO!"
These writings of Paul are directly from the Risen Saviour to Paul...
...and then to us through the King James Bible by the Holy Ghost!
