Romans
1:15-17 - So,
as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at
Rome also. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the
power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first,
and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed
from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
3:21-28 -
But now the righteousness of God without the law (see
Romans
10:4) is manifested,
being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of
God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe:
for there is no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the
glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption
that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through
faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins
that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this
time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him
which believeth in Jesus. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what
law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. Therefore we conclude
that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.
4:4-8 - Now
to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But
to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly,
his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as David also describeth the
blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,
Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins
are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.
4:20-25 - He
staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in
faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had
promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to
him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that
it was imputed to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if
we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was
delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
5:1,2 - Therefore
being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus
Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we
stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
5:3-6 -
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation
worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope
maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts
by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. For when we were yet without
strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
5:8-13 -
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,
Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we
shall be saved from wrath through him. For if, when we were enemies, we
were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled,
we shall be saved by his life. And not only so, but we also joy in God
through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin;
and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (For until
the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
5:17-19 - For
if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive
abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life
by one, Jesus Christ.) Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came
upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free
gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man's
disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many
be made righteous.
8:1-5 - There
is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who
walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit
of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God
sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned
sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled
in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For they that
are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are
after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
8:9-11 -
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit
of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is
none of his. And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin;
but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him
that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ
from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that
dwelleth in you.
8:24,25 - For
we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man
seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then
do we with patience wait for it.
10:6-13 - But
the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine
heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from
above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ
again from the dead.) But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in
thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe
in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth
confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth
on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew
and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon
him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
10:14-15 -
How
then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall
they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear
without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as
it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel
of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

10:18-21 -
But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the
earth, and their words unto the ends of the world. But I say, Did not Israel
know? First Moses saith, I will provoke you to jealousy by them that are
no people, and by a foolish nation I will anger you. But Esaias is very
bold, and saith, I was found of them that sought me not; I was made manifest
unto them that asked not after me. But to Israel he saith, All day long
I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people.

3:15 -
If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself
shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
15:1-8 - Moreover,
brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which
also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved,
if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed
in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received,
how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that
he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was
seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain
unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen
of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also,
as of one born out of due time.
15:12-17 -
Now
if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you
that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there be no resurrection
of the dead, then is Christ not risen: And if Christ be not risen, then
is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. Yea, and we are found
false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised
up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For
if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: And if Christ be not raised,
your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.
II Corinthians
5:17-19 - Therefore
if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away;
behold, all things are become new. And all things are of God, who hath
reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry
of reconciliation; To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world
unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed
unto us the word of reconciliation.
Galatians
2:16 - Knowing
that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of
Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified
by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works
of the law shall no flesh be justified.
2:20,21 - I
am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth
in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of
the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate
the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is
dead in vain.
3:11-14 - But
that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident:
for, The just shall live by faith. And the law is not of faith: but, The
man that doeth them shall live in them. Christ hath redeemed us from the
curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed
is every one that hangeth on a tree: That the blessing of Abraham might
come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise
of the Spirit through faith.
3:22-29 - But
the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of
Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. But before faith came,
we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards
be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ,
that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are
no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith
in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have
put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor
free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according
to the promise.
5:6 - For
in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision;
but faith which worketh by love.
Ephesians
1:12-14 - That
we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In
whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel
of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed
with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance
until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his
glory.
2:4-10 - But
God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even
when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by
grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together
in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew
the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ
Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves:
it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we
are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God
hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
3:1,2 - For
this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles, If ye
have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to
you-ward:
3:12- In
whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
3:17 - ...
That
Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; ...
Colossians
1:11-14 -
Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all
patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father,
which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints
in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated
us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through
his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
2:11-15 - In
whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands,
in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of
Christ: Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him
through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the
dead. And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh,
hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was
contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And
having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly,
triumphing over them in it.
I Thessalonians
1:8-10 - For
from you sounded out the word of the Lord not only in Macedonia and Achaia,
but also in every place your faith to God-ward is spread abroad; so that
we need not to speak any thing. For they themselves shew of us what manner
of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to
serve the living and true God; And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom
he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath
to come.
2:13-16 - For
this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received
the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of
men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh
also in you that believe. For ye, brethren, became followers of the churches
of God which in Judaea are in Christ Jesus: for ye also have suffered like
things of your own countrymen, even as they have of the Jews: Who both
killed the Lord Jesus, and their own prophets, and have persecuted us;
and they please not God, and are contrary to all men: Forbidding us to
speak to the Gentiles that they might be saved, to fill up their sins alway:
for the wrath is come upon them to the uttermost.
II Thessalonians
2:13,14 -
But we are bound to give thanks alway to God for you, brethren beloved
of the Lord, because God hath from the beginning chosen you to salvation
through sanctification of the Spirit and belief of the truth: Whereunto
he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord
Jesus Christ.
I Timothy
1:14-16 - And
the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which
is in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation,
that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ
might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should
hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
2:3-6 - For
this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have
all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there
is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
4:10 - For
therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living
God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
6:12 - Fight
the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also
called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
6:17 -
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor
trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly
all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works,
ready to distribute, willing to communicate; Laying up in store for themselves
a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal
life.
II Timothy
1:13,14 -
Hold fast the form of sound words, which thou hast heard of me, in faith
and love which is in Christ Jesus. That good thing which was committed
unto thee keep by the Holy Ghost which dwelleth in us.
2:10 - Therefore
I endure all things for the elect's sakes, that they may also obtain the
salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
3:15 - And
that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to
make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
Titus
3:5-7 - Not
by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy
he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; That being
justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of
eternal life.
