God's thoughts and ways - Mysteries

• Isaiah 55:8,9 - For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.  For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
• The Way of God
• In Old Testament- they didn't know or understand - period!  Just listen, watch & obey!
• Jesus' Gospels - Parables to some, understanding to others (60)
• Matthew 13:13 -17
• Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.  For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

• Luke 8:10 - And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
• to know the Kingdom of heaven
• Matthew 13:11 - He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
• Great Commission
• Acts 1-8; Matthew 28:19,20; Mark 16:15-20
• Signs, wonders, healings, miracles, drinking poison, playing with deadly snakes, etc.
• Way of God More Perfectly
• Paul's Gospel - understands all mysteries as the Risen Saviour has revealed all to him.
• I Corinthians 13:2 - And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
• (not "if I had")
• Ephesians 3:4 - Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
• So through Paul, we can learn of them - and today, the KJB!
• I Corinthians 4:1,2 - Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.  Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
• He / they were to be stewards
• Then came the KJB and then ...
• Us today - all in and through the KJB to others
• "I didn't know?"  "I can't know?"  "I didn't know?"
• It isn't God's fault - God is God and we are not!
• Mysteries were revealed to Paul!
• These very same mysteries are revealed and can be learned from our KJB by following Paul's Epistles.
• Earthly Way of God Concluded
• Revelation 10:7 - But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
• Gospel of the Kingdom - Everlasting Gospel
• Tribulation
• Babylon mystery exposed and destroyed!
• Revelation 4-19
• Revelation 17:5 - And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
• All New!
• Revelation 21:1-3 - And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

Paul's Understanding of the Mysteries of God
according to the KJB

• Mystery of Gentiles being made fellow-heirs, and of the same body - partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel - hid from ages and from generations, but now is...

• Ephesians 3:1-7 - #6,7 - That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
• Colossians 1:26,27 - Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
• Ephesians 3:9 - And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
• Romans 16:25 - Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith:

• Mystery of Godliness
• "True Godliness" is not a list of rules of "do's and don't's" to show a level of "godliness" in your walk, etc.
• True definition:
• I Timothy 3:16 - And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
• Pray for it!
• I Timothy 2:2 - For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
• Women should profess in their walk and works
• I Timothy 2:10 - But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good works.
• More profitable than bodily exercise
• I Timothy 4:8 - For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.
• We should teach and consent to it
• I Timothy 6:3 - If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
• Withdraw from them that use it improperly!
• I Timothy 6:5 - Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
• I Timothy 6:6 - But godliness with contentment is great gain.
• We should know what promotes ungodliness and from such turn away.
• II Timothy 2:16 - But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
• II Timothy 3:5 - Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
• Deny the false and live the true godliness
• Titus 2:12 - Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
• These are the words we can use in our daily walk - not walking godly, but walking soberly, righteously - and like a 'Christian" ought to walk - using the word 'godly' correctly!

• Mystery of the Blindness of Israel
• Romans 11:25 - For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
• He eventually brings us all together:
• Ephesians 2:11-22, especially 17-21
• This was always his design and desire!
• Ephesians 1:4-6, 10

• Mystery of Christ and the church
• Ephesians 5:32 - This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
• We don't have to be in the synagogues, tabernacles, temples, church buildings, etc.
• Remember - God is no longer in the building!
• Acts 17:24,25 - God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
• Universal / Invisible Church is not the local church!
• Ephesians 5:30-32 - For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones... ... This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
• I Corinthians 6:15a - Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ?
• I Corinthians 6:19-20 - What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?  For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
• Purpose of the local church today
• Ephesians 4:11-16
• Not Acts 2:38-47
• Today - we are to do the work of an evangelist, and evangelists do not stick around to build churches buildings.
• II Timothy 4:5 - But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
• Even some of Paul's people met within their own homes!
• Romans 16:3-5 - Likewise greet the church that is in their house
• Colossians 4:15 - Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.
• Philemon 1:2 - And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house:
• Apostasy is not in the true body of Christ - but in the local church body!
• Matthew 16:18 - And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
• and is more than 'just' in the 'local church,' as so many believe about their little heaven on earth.
• II Thessalonians 2:3 - Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
• It is going global!
• Religious apostasy is going back to Acts 2:41-47; Matthew 28:19,20; Mark 16:15-20
• Being led to the subtle confusion and false direction towards the Antichrist as the Pied Piper and the New World Order, etc.
• Daniel 11-12
• Revelation 6; 13; 18, etc.

• Mystery of Iniquity
• II Thessalonians 2:7 -  For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.
• "let" - To permit; to allow; to suffer; to give leave or power by a positive act, or negatively, to withhold restraint; not to prevent
• We are not caught away until after the antichrist be revealed!
• II Thessalonians 2:3 - Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
• Mystery of the details still a mystery
• Daniel 12:4 - But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

• Mystery of Christ
• From Paul, it is all about the gospel of the Risen Christ!
• Ephesians 3:3-7 - How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words, Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ) That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel: Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
• Colossians 4:3 - Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
• The gospel of the Risen Christ should not be a mystery today!
• I Corinthians 4:17 - For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.-
• This mystery has been kept hid in God throughout the past!
• Ephesians 3:5 - Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
• Romans 16:25 - Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
• Ephesians 3:9 - And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
• Colossians 1:26 - Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:
• The riches of the glory of this mystery being revealed!
• Colossians 1:27 - To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

• Mystery of the Gospel
• Paul opened his mouth to make known this mystery - no longer a mystery today!
• Ephesians 6:19 - And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
• Acts 26:16 - But rise, and stand upon thy feet: for I have appeared unto thee for this purpose, to make thee a minister and a witness both of these things which thou hast seen, and of those things in the which I will appear unto thee;
• Acts 22:14,15 - And he said, The God of our fathers hath chosen thee, that thou shouldest know his will, and see that Just One, and shouldest hear the voice of his mouth. For thou shalt be his witness unto all men of what thou hast seen and heard.
• Paul wanted us to learn of his affairs - his manner of life!
• Philippians 4:9
• II Timothy 3:10
• It is not a mystery anymore - it was made known to us through through Tychicus - who wrote it all down!
• verses 20-22 - For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. But that ye also may know my affairs, and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things: Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts.

• Mystery of God's Will
• For us personally, as so many Great Commissioners preach?
• ...or the will of his entire design, as the KJB shows?
• Ephesians 1:9-12 - Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will: That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
• Ephesians 1:4-6 - According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
• Romans 12:1,2 - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
• Ephesians 2:10 - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

• Mystery of the Wisdom of God
• I Corinthians 2:7,8 - But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory: Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
• Today - in the KJB!
• I Corinthians 13:10 - But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
• The words of God - the words of Jesus Christ - from the mouth of God, etc.

• Mystery of "Rapture"
• I Corinthians 15:51,52 - Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
• I Thessalonians 4:14-18

Future Mysteries to Be Solved Tomorrow for All Others
- But We Can Also Know Today because of the KJB! -

• The Seven Churches
• Revelation 1:20 - The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

• Conclusion of the Mystery of God
• Conclusion of the Mystery of God for all to know - not just us!
• Revelation 10:7 - But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

• Mystery of the Woman - Babylon
• Revelation 17:5 - And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
• Revelation 17:7 - And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.
• Revelation 17:18 - And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.
