We Didn't Say That!

Things 'they" say we teach/preach, but we didn't, don't and won't!

They say we teach and say certain things - but that isn't true! Why do they do that?

It happened to Paul all the time!

Acts 13:38-43
Accusations

Acts 25:27-26:1-3

Lies
They have no witnesses of us ever teaching these things!

They have no cause to treat us like they do!

Acts 17:1-8 - Envy!
Acts 19:9 - Paul's way of the Risen Saviour is an evil way?
Acts 17:16-18 - Strange gods, etc.?
Jeremiah 7:8 - Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.
Seducers, deceived and deceiving... and lying about what we believe and teach!

They say: 1. We don't believe in baptism?

Of course we do...

Just not for salvation
Just not for after salvation
Just not for obedience to baptism or obedience to Jesus' command
Just not because Jesus was baptized

To manifest himself to Israel...

John 1:31

There is ONE Baptism

Ephesians 4:5

It isn't even a water baptism, either!

I Corinthians 12:13
Romans 6:3-11

Paul did them at first, but...

He didn't come to do them, though!

I Corinthians 1:17

And his 'way' of a baptism isn't the way at all even today!
Acts 19:1-6

It isn't one of the 'two' ordinances

It doesn't even say 'two' anywhere!

2. We don't believe in the Lords' Supper - Communion, etc.?

Of course we do...

Just not as the ritual people do insider their churches today!
Just not to keep from getting sick or being killed by God chastisement and judgment
God is in us today!
We have a Bible to 'remember' his death, etc.
We can commune with God 24/7

Prayer - without ceasing, Paul says.
Read - the KJB to hear from God through the Holy Spirit
He never leaves us - II Timothy 2:13
He is faithful!

It isn't one of the 'two' ordinances either!

It doesn't say 'two' anywhere, let alone identify it as something to be followed.
I Corinthians 13:10 puts the Lord's Supper / Communion in its place, too!

3. We don't believe in the local church?

Of course we do...

just not as the truth, it is only the pillar and ground of the truth!
just not being put over the KJB!
just as the final authority
just not the 'body of Christ'

the universal church is the body of Christ
Ephesians 5:30-32

just not as the church the gates of hell will not prevail against.

Matthew 16:18

just not the modern purpose from Acts 2

Paul's design and purpose is Ephesians 4:11+

4. We don't believe in having a pastor?

Of course we do...

just not as the baptist pope
just not as designed from Hebrews 13:7,17
just not according to a certain school of teachings, etc.

Proper purpose:

Pastor will

keep out confusion
guide, not dictate
preach and teach
oversee the work of the ministry
perfect the saints with his preaching and teaching

I Timothy 3:1-7

Titus 1:6-9
Titus 2:1,15
II Timothy 4:2-5
II Timothy 2:24-26

5. We don't believe in the importance of church attendance?

Of course we do...

just not according to Hebrews 10:25
just not as a commandment / requirement
just not having to be on a certain day
See Colossians 2:16

If you miss, you miss the purpose of the church
Ephesians 4:12

You miss some perfecting
You miss involvement in the ministry
You miss the edifying

But you won't be chastised for it.

You will just reap from not being there.

You miss enough times and sermons and you can crumble / family, etc.

You can learn from Website, but ...

do you hear it all
do you listen while you do other things?
do you take the time to mediate - take notes, etc?

6. We don't try to win souls?

Of course we do...

we just don't go after numbers

gain is important to us but it is not proof of godliness

we are concerned for Christians if they only have another Jesus instead of the real one!

we know most folks are listening to false preachers, apostles, etc.

II Corinthians 11:13-15

are they looking for Revelation 6 or 19?
which Jesus do they have?

II Corinthians 11:1-4 - another Jesus?

we can help them know without a shadow of doubt!

7. We don't preach hard, offensive and mean as we rebuke, etc.

I agree with that...
However, just read the following...
Just reading these to people is hard enough - why do we think we need to add our offensiveness?

Titus 2
Romans 6-8
Ephesians 3
Philippians 1:9,10
people will not endure sound doctrine, they don't have to put up with us

We are to edify but not to destroy

8. We follow a man?

Of course we do! Don't you?

God has always had a man to follow...

Eve to follow Adam
Jews to follow Abraham
Moses for the law and wilderness journey
Prophets - OT
Jesus - gospels
Apostles - Great Commission - Acts 1-8

Peter, John and James in a sailboat...

Pastors during the Tribulation - Hebrews 13:7,17
Jesus during the Millennium - Revelation
today?

Not the pastor - the baptist pope, etc
Not your Sunday School teacher, etc.
Not your wife
Not your parents when you are old enough...
Most are following themselves now!

9. We are not into 'standards?' We can sin when we want now!

Are you serious?

You don't think we preach 'the walk?'

Man, after the joyous doctrine that Paul preaches in Romans, Ephesians, Phil, etc. we have to remind everyone that Paul also wrote Timothy and Titus!!!

Romans 6:1-14 and then 15-23 explains the position on the difference between sin and sinning.

There is a huge difference, by the way.
But I don't suggest you ask your pastor about it - most of them have no clue!

I Thessalonians 4:1 - we can and should learn a walk to please God!

Ephesians 2:10 - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
II Timothy 3:17 - That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
Titus 2:7 - In all things shewing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine shewing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,
Titus 2:14 - Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Timothy and Titus - has sound doctrine that folks will not endure - and you think WE don't preach this stuff?
Yes, there are grace abusers and those that hide behind grace - but we don't claim that at all.
Grace is there for our strength as we learn to live the Risen life.

That involves judgment calls, etc.
Philippians 1:9,10

Don't anyone in today's churches tell me we don't preach the risen walk & standards!

Sure, we are in the dispensation of grace, no doubt - but that is no excuse to blaspheme the word of God women - or men, to make your wife blaspheme the word of God, etc. See Timothy and Titus!

10. You don't believe you should confess sins to keep one's fellowship with God!

Of course not - I thought you were a bible believer and have had you sins forgiven and not imputed...
I John 1:9 is not to us today. That is too simple!

What sins do you have to confess, anyway?

You haven't stopped sinning, but He cut you away from your flesh and it isn't' you sinning now.
Haven't you read Romans and Colossians, etc.
There is no law for a believer, so if there is no law, there is no transgression!

Romans 10:3; Romans 4:15

Besides, if you think we are crazy with this thought - and so we would go out and do wrong, etc

Why is that any different than you watching "Mash" and doing your sinning and just confessing yourself back to safety?

At least when we sing, Jesus Paid It All, we believe it!
Ever heard of the liberty in Christ?

Do you know the strings attached?

11. I am a cult leader!

I use those scriptures out of context?
I just pass on what the Bible says, not my interpretation!

Besides, interpretation is a Tribulation issue, not today.
II Peter 1:20 - Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.

Rightly divided make is simple!

II Corinthians 11:3 - But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

12. We don't believe the entire bible, from Genesis to Revelation to be the scriptures...

Again, are you kidding?

We preach from Genesis to Revelation.
The whole Bible is for us, but it is not all 'to' us...
The doctrine in that Bible is TO different folks in those different dispensations - so was the correction, the reproof, the instruction in righteousness.

What Moses taught was the law!
What Jesus taught was to the Jews!
What Paul teaches is to the Gentiles!
What Peter teaches is to the Tribulation saints, etc.

13. We don't visit others!

We would if you would let us in to talk to you?
We just do an official Thursday night program, but visit when we are allowed in to a home.

14. We don't believe that God chastises.

We sure do - but God doesn't chastise people now!
Romans 2:4 for the lost - it comes at their white throne judgment.

But not now! read the verse!
Revelation 3:19 is during the Tribulation!

Read all of Paul - no chastisement is mentioned - our works will be judged at our judgment seat of Christ.
God will judge and chastise - just not now!

Longsuffering, patience, etc. is God's goodness today!

I have one question for those who believe we teach those & and other 'odd' things.

WHY CAN'T YOU JUST LET US IN AND IN A FRIENDLY MANNER
AND WITH YOUR BIBLE, JUST SIT DOWN AND TALK LIKE A FEW ADULTS?

IF WE ARE WRONG, SHOW US or LET US SHOW YOU WHAT WE REALLY BELIEVE AND TEACH?

You have been taught lies by your pastor!
Let us prove it with an opened Bible!
