I
Never Knew You: Depart from Me... Is that true today? What
does a wise man build with today?
These verses are
falsely used TODAY in an attempt to show that a 'saved person' can actually
lose his salvation.
The simple answer
to anything here is that this is NOT WRITTEN TO US TODAY.
written to the
remnant that will not make it through the Second Coming which will then
keep them out of the Millennium
Ok, so what was
Jesus meaning when he preached these words?
How does Paul
deal with these subjects?
Read on - actually,
there is more in the audio.
This is just a
simple set of notes 'almost' in outline form. I recommend you listen
to the audio / video.
21:
Not
every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom
of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
kingdom of heaven
referring to the Millennium
Some won't make
it through to the Millennium.
remnant -
Revelation 19:20,21; Isaiah 3:18
See in the next
verse, "in that day' referring to the Second coming - Revelation 19
Will of my Father?
John 6:39,40
-
Will of the Father to Jesus
inheritance
savlation - based
on believing He is the Christ - see 6:69
Colossians
1:12,13 - passed on to Paul to us
inheritance
salvation - based
on our faith in Him - hearing, believing and trusting... we receive His
faith!
22:
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in
thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many
wonderful works?
in that day -
Second Coming of Jesus Christ
in thy name?
Jeremiah 23:16,21,22,30,32
Jeremiah 14:14,15
cast out devils
Matthew 10:5-15,16
John 6:70
wonderful works
not by works today...
but OT was works!
23: And
then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that
work iniquity.
To us today?
NOT AT ALL
If we know Christ
as our Saviour - then God knows us - and we can not be separatred!
Galatians 4:9
- But now, after that ye have known God,
or rather are known of God,..
24:
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will
liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:
Here we go - another
song based on Old Testament doctrine and illustration and that is the truthfl
context of the story.
It cam be made
to fit Paul, as I say in the audio, but who will? That is still miresentation
of the truth - wrong dispensational use.
25:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat
upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
the rock then?
Jesus, of course!
The rock today?
Jesus Christ - the RISEN Christ - through a King James Bible - rightly
divided - following Paul.
Paul is like a
rock to us today.
We are to do the
'sayings' - the teachings of the RISEN CHRIST, not the Gospels Jesus.
26:
And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall
be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:
Not following
Jesus was foolish!
Not following
the Risen Jesus Christ - the KJB - rightly dividing - Paul, etc. is foolish!
Your house will
fall!
27:
And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat
upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
Your house will
fall - and great will be fall!
The winds ARE
BLOWING!
The floods will
be here soon!
as it all beats
upon the house, it will fall.
kids - marriage,
etc.
28:
And
it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings, the people were astonished
at his doctrine:
the kjb doctrine!
rightly divided!
they are astonished
as well...
why? see
verse 29
29: For
he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
Jesus' authority
then!
Jesus' authority
today is through Paul, etc.

notes from King James Bible Church of Touchet, WA Pastor
- Mike Paulson www.touchet1611.org The
entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO
us!
We
learn from the "For" and we try to apply the 'TO!"
