Part IX Till All Be Fulfilled Think
not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am
not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For
verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one
jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till
all be fulfilled. Matthew
5:17,18 Fulfilled!
Time
of Gentiles
Luke 21:24
- And they shall fall by the edge of the
sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall
be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be
fulfilled.
Romans 11:25
-
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery,
lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is
happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
All the good
pleasures of his goodness and work of faith fulfilled in our lives!
II Thessalonians
1:11,12 - Wherefore also we pray always
for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and
fulfil
all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power:
That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you,
and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus
Christ.
Ephesians 1:7-12
-
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins,
according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us
in all wisdom and prudence; Having made known unto us the mystery of his
will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together
in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on
earth; even in him: In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being
predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after
the counsel of his own will:
God's people
to be killed during Tribulation!
Revelation
6:11 - And white robes were given unto
every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet
for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren,
that
should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
Devil locked
up for 1,000 year Millennium
Revelation
20:1-3 - And I saw an angel come down from
heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and
Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless
pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the
nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and
after that he must be loosed a little season.
Jesus
fulfilled the law
Matthew 5:17,18
- Think not that I am come to destroy the
law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily
I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall
in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
Not to destroy
the law
Not to destroy
the prophets
but to fulfil
- fulfil all righteousness
Matthew 3:13-15
- Then cometh Jesus from Galilee
to Jordan unto John, to be baptized of him. But John forbad him, saying,
I have need to be baptized of thee, and comest thou to me? And Jesus answering
said unto him, Suffer it to be so now: for thus it becometh us to fulfil
all righteousness. Then he suffered him.
Till heaven and
earth pass
II Peter 3:10
- But the day of the Lord will come as
a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with
a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth
also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Folks think
we are teaching
that the law is void today!
we 'change' the
law to fit our desires and works, etc.!
we teach that
the law is not important anymore.
They are wrong!
Romans 3:31
- Do we then make void the law through
faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Then, we have
folks that just keep trying to go to the law, now that they are (if) saved,
thinking they need to try to stay in close fellowship with God and to receive
his blessings, etc.!
Galatians 3:1-3
-
O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the
truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified
among you? This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the
works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Are ye so foolish? having
begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
To the saved:
The need to realize:
Romans 7:9
- For I was alive without the law once:
but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died.
See Romans
10:3,4 for law being no longer for righteousness!
For they
being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their
own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness
of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one
that believeth.
1 Corinthians
6:12 - All things are lawful unto me, but
all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will
not be brought under the power of any.
1 Corinthians
10:23 - All things are lawful for me, but
all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things
edify not.
Not to use for
occasion of the flesh - Galatians 5:13
Not to cause someone
to stumble - Romans 14:19-22
Not to be under
the power of... - I Corinthians 6:12
Romans 4:15
- Because the law worketh wrath: for where
no law is, there is no transgression.
To the lost
the law is there
to show their need for a saviour - because of sin, not just them sinning!
I Corinthians
15:22 - For as in Adam all die, even so
in Christ shall all be made alive.
Romans 3:20
-
Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in
his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
There is still
a purpose for the law today!
Galatians 3:21-26
- Is the law then against the promises
of God? God forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have
given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. But the scripture
hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ
might be given to them that believe. But before faith came, we were kept
under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.
Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we
might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer
under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ
Jesus.
Now, the Risen
Christ has fulfilled the law and imputes it to those who believe!
Romans 4:22-25
- And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was
not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; But for us
also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up
Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was
raised again for our justification.
Righteousness
of the law fulfilled in us
Romans 8:3-5
- For what the law could not do, in that
it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness
of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness
of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but
after the Spirit. For they that are after the flesh do mind the things
of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
Paul fulfills
the word of God
Colossians
1:25 -27- Whereof I am made a minister,
according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil
the word of God; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from
generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would
make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles;
which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:
Ephesians 3:1-12
Hated without
a cause!
John 15:25
- But this cometh to pass, that the word
might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without
a cause.
They hate Paul
and have no cause!
They hate the
KJB and they have no cause!
They can hate
us, but I figure we may actually have given them some cause?
Or they can still
hate us just because of KJB and Paul, etc.

entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO

We
learn from the "For" and we try to apply the 'TO!"
