THE NAME

The NAME
The Dead Sea Scrolls call for receiving a "Name," spelled with a capital N-A-M-E.

We are told in Revelation 13:17,18 - And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.

The Dead Sea Scrolls  say the people who will not take the "NAME" during a seven year period will be killed.

Modern Bibles
Older printings of the NIV, in Leviticus 24:11, said, 'the name of the Lord" (small 'n," then 'of the Lord").

The most recent printing of the NIV has dropped 'of the Lord,' and capitalized the "N" in "Name," just like the Dead Sea Bible.

We see this happening in Acts 5:41, where the KJB says, "his name," with a small "n"; the NIV says, "the Name," with a capital "N."

The NIV now capitalizes "the Name" seventy-seven times.

They are, as new printings come out, dropping "of the LORD" (Leviticus 24:11 & 24:16).
Acts 22:16 says, "calling on the name of the Lord,"; they drop "of the Lord" and say "calling on his name."  So, uh, who is HE?

They are also changing the way 'name' is used in the Bible.

In the KJB, John 17:11 says, "those whom thou hast given me," but new versions say, "the name which thou has given me."

Daniel 9:19, in the KJB says, "thy people are called by thy name."  It does NOT say "called" in most new versions now; it says, "they bear your Name." capital "N-a-m-e.

Receiving His Name?
We are warned against receiving 'his name (the name of the beast), but in Revelation 14:1, the NIV adds "his name and his Father's name".  Causes confusion with Revelation 3:12; 7:3; 22:4).

Branded?
In Galatians 6:17, the NASB says people receive 'brand-marks' of Jesus.
The apostle Paul's marks (KJB) are beating marks he received, just like the Lord Jesus Christ received.
They did not 'brand' Paul, they beat him!

Tattoo?
In the Living Bible's Isaiah 44:5, it says that people should receive a tattoo.
"I am the Lord's,' they'll proudly say, or 'I am a Jew,' and tattoo upon their hands the name of God or the honored name of Israel.  LB
Isaiah 44:5 - KJB - One shall say, I am the LORD's; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.

This is all a warning about the antichrist.

Modern bibles tell the readers today that it is a good thing to do;
the KJB tells its readers that it is a bad thing to do.

Thanks to the Dead Sea Scrolls, we can see the increasing & preparation for the antichrist, today.

If anyone will listen, that is!
