This is only a general outline.
Introduction
The "Great Commission" Biggies:
    Matthew 28:19,20
    Mark 16:15-20

teaching to observe all Jesus commanded... even unto the end of the world...

JESUS

Jesus Basic Teachings
    Matthew 4:23 - gospel of the kingdom
    Matthew 5:19 - kingdom of heaven
    Matthew 9:35 - gospel of the kingdom

It was the way of God!
Well, of course it was!! (then!)
    Mark 12:14
    Luke 20:21
    John 3:2
And of course they taught His teachings - and they were supposed to!
    Acts 1:1
They taught 'in the name of Jesus...'
...and got in trouble for it.
    Acts 4:18
    Acts 5:28
(note: that is sure a big issue today  - in the modern Christian element - right along with the Ten Commandments, prayer in the school, etc. - and it was a good fight - THEN - but not TO us today.)
Yessiree, they taught Jesus Christ!
    Acts 5:42 - And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.
    Just like they were told!  Once again, we see the proper application for Matthew 28:19,20; Mark 16:15-20.
But note:

Jesus taught to Jewry
    Luke 23:5 - Jewry
    Mark 7:27 - bread to children before the dogs (- does there ever come a time for us to feed our dogs better than our children?  Answer:  Let's see, what did the Jews do to eventually see their food given to the dogs...?)

Not to Gentiles
    Matthew 6:31,32; 10:5,18; 12:18-21; 15:24; 24:13,14

Still, the Jews did know 'something was up!'
    John 7:35

Paul

Preaching and teaching the kingdom of God
    Acts 28:31
    Romans 14:17

Teaching what Christ told him to teach!
    Acts 9:1-22; 20:24; 26:15-28; Galatians 1:11,12; I Corinthians 15:8; II Corinthians 12:1-6; Ephesians 3:1-7

Not to teach the gospels!
Other than I Cor 15:1-8, of course, and that was only telling then the events, but not His teachings He taught in the gospels!
And that gospel message continued with Peter and John into Acts 1-8 - even John 21:20-24 - and even James through Jude... (eventually including Hebrews)

Paul still always had Jews on his heart!

    Acts 28:30,31

Today's purpose of the local church - pastors AND teachers!

Here are just a few verses on Paul and the walk of a Christian because of what Christ MADE us,
not "TO BE" a Christian.

A teacher of the Gentiles - Paul

Apt to teach!
    I Timothy 3:2
    II Timothy 2:24
Command and teach
    I Timothy 4:11
Teach and exhort!
    I Timothy 6:2
Teach faithful men to TEACH others
    II Timothy 2:2
Aged Women teach younger women!
    Titus 2:3,4
Teach us that...
    Titus 2:12
Etc. Etc. Etc.
The word today is "TEACHING!"
And the servant of the Lord must not strive;
but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,
In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves;
if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil,
who are taken captive by him at his will.
II Timothy 2:24-26
Believe it or not, there really is a command to NOT teach...
...but that isn't to us today!
    Note in Hebrews 8:11, there will come a time when they are NOT to teach!

More modern baloney - the anointing, but no teachers - not TO us today!
