Expounding the way of God more perfectly - Acts 18:26 - with the Scriptures Rightly Divided - II Timothy 2:15
"NT Sayings"
Rightly Divided, of Course
Part I
This is only a general outline

This is why so many think they should follow Jesus' sayings / teachings.
(other than them being led down a false path by their 'leaders,' which includes pastors, pastorettes, teachers, parents, etc.)

And yes, we should follow Jesus' teachings!
But Jesus' teachings are the ones given to Paul, not the ones from the Gospels!

Jesus "Sayings" in the Gospels

Is this really being a wise man today?
We teach our children that it is.
Matthew 7:24-29
Luke 6:46-49
Yes, we know Jesus is our Rock and THE Rock - but... if we do His sayings from the gospel, is that wisdom today?
If we follow what Jesus Christ told to Paul, yes, then THAT is the wisdom today!

Are these sayings TO us today?
Matthew 19:1
Matthew 26:1

Luke 9:44

This is all Great Commission stuff - it is that simple!
Matthew 28:19,20
Mark 16:15-21

His sayings caused division!
John 10:19-21

Is this "true love" today?
John 14:24

Paul

There are only three verses in all of Paul's writings about anyone's sayings!
One, Paul got in trouble over when he rebuked some folks - Acts 14:18
One is about the sayings towards Great is Diana of the Ephesians.
One is about us having confidence knowing our sayings are backed up by Scripture! - Romans 3:4

Not once does Paul tell us to follow the 'sayings' of Jesus!
Never!

Nothing in Hebrews to Jude, either!

How about in the Book of Revelation?

Are we keep these sayings?
Revelation 22:7
Revelation 22:9

Is the time really at hand?  Was it then?  How can this be said at the 'end' of the Bible today?
Revelation 22:10

We see here in Revelation that rightly dividing once again explains how John would say "time is at hand!"   Because IT WOULD HAVE BEEN, had they accepted Christ's new terms in Acts 1-8!
However, they didn't - they killed Stephen - so after that, then Christ goes on to Paul!
