Mothers, Are You Preparing Your Daughter?

This is the outline of the audio sermon

II Thessalonians 2:1-12
A snowball rolling down the hill - getting bigger and going faster and faster.
    Getting caught by the snowball by hanging around too close complaining and whining about all that is being damaged and squashed.

II Thessalonians 2:13-17
Paul's comments on how to deal with the apostasy - the rolling snowball!
    vs 2 - be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us...
    vs 13 - give thanks for your salvation
    vs 15 - stand fast
    vs 15 -  hold the traditions he teaches (not man's traditions)
    vs 16 - receive His everlasting consolation and good hope through grace
    vs 17 - comfort your hearts
    vs 17 - stablish you in every good word
    vs 17 - stablish you in every good work

In other words, the apostasy is real and it is going to happen.  WE ought not try to stop it or get shook by it all.  It is going to happen.  The Bible IS going to continue to be put down and put away.  The churches are going to continue the trend they are following.  The laws are going to continue to go against Christianity.

But don't get shook up about it.

But... remember as you stablish yourself in every good work and word, that Isaiah 5:20-23 says that what we know as good will be called bad, etc.

It isn't going to be easy - but praise the Lord we don't have the Tribulation itself to sweat, eh!

Question - Do you want to see your kids caught up in that snowball of apostasy?
See Acts 9:20-22, 27,29 - Right at the beginning of his ministry, Paul is bold - he confounded the jews because he could PROVE what needed to be proven!

We must be bold!  It is our little children we are talking about here!

See Acts 13:6-13 - the sorcerer shows up and tries to ruin things.  What Paul did was set his eyes on him and blinded him.
Why don't parents look at the sorcery that is going after their own kids - TV, video games, computer games, hollywood, disney, etc. - and set their eyes on them and blind them - get them out of the lives of their children?
Paul preached a sermon when he was given an opportunity - he stood up and said what he needed to say.  Acts 13:14-41

Some wanted to hear more - some didn't because of their envy and began contradicting and blaspheming - just like modern Christians, scholars, perverted pastors and their perverted bibles, etc.

Paul was bold - parents, you must be bold concerning your children!
The snowball will ge them if you are not!
Who went after Paul?
Acts 13:50

Honourable and Devout Women!

Read Isaiah 3.
Today - kids / ladies, etc.

What are you doing to prevent this happening to your kids?

Are you an 'honourable and devout' woman?
    Contradict and blaspheme Paul's doctrine?
    Deny Paul's doctrine to your kids?
    Don't want to please God nor teach your kids how to please God according to Paul?
    Don't want to understand the Book and don't want your kids to have that understanding, either?

OR

Are you a:
Phebe?  Priscilla?  Mary?  Julia?  Nerueus' sister?  Romans 16
Eunice, Timothy's mom; Lois, Timothy's grandma!  II Timothy 1:5; 3:15
Proverbs 31 woman
Titus 2 woman
An honourable widow indeed - I Timothy 5:3,10

Your kids will be living in even more of a:
    Godless yet gody society - religious!
    No KJB allowed!
    Hate Israel America!
    Dangerously mocking and sensual world!
    wicked generation - Proverbs 30:11-14

Our kids need us to be bold with them and TO them!
(not angry and spanking crazy)

It's time here at Touchet Baptist Church to do something for them as a church!
(only a few, but a special few)

Even if YOU are doing something at home, not all are - not all can!

There are even some nutty mothers doing homeschooling "weirdly."
    Dad's are not in most pictures anymore.
    Some homeschooling is a shame to the Lord and to the Book - and present a terrible testimony to the truth!
    Most homeschooled kids seem to be being "Gospelled" - made into Christ hating Jews by the time they become teens.
    Too many kids aren't learning a thing except how to be good on the computer and how to fly the ship Enterprise, etc.

They need to learn from Paul!

The Plan:

Girls - tonight, I am talking to mothers about their girls. Boys will come soon enough - let's start tonight with the girls.

If we only have some of our little girls on occasion - we sill still plant seeds and water them!

We must teach them, as girls, how they can learn to please God as they get older.  How to be godly women according to Paul's gospel!

The Curriculum?
    KJB - rightly divided
    KJB - verses TO girls and women
    Your example as women!

Teachers?
    Mothers and grandmothers of this church

MAD - Mothers Against the Devil
FHG - Future Homemakers for God

Your girls need to be taught:

This can be such a great group - such a great opportunity for moms and their little girls.

P.S.  I see most dad's today actually ruining their little girls to be their little boy!
I am not wanting to make our little girls into Victorian snobs, either!

If you don't do this, then you are teaching them to live a life
that blasphemes the word of God!
see Titus 2:5

And that rolling snowball of apostasy will destroy them in the name of the Laodicean church look of success.

And if we don't do this - shame on me as your pastor - and shame on us as a church!

And shame on you as a parent!
