Maybe even a good title would be a 'Cinderella Christian' - when things get tough, they go back to being a poor hard-working sister,
their prince disappears and becomes a dream and their church turns into a pumpkin - a fake church!

Life is not only in the pursuit of happiness, but now people 'expect' to be happy 'ever after 'on earth, as it is in heaven.'
If these are your goals and desires, you will eventually give in to the media hype and pressure for success from your 'christian' friends!

Are we trying to stuff a rightly divided Christianity into an American designed Christianity?
Yes, I believe that is why it is still so hard for so many folks to grasp Paul's gospel being Romans to Philemon, etc.

Thoughts and Observations of American Christianity:

They have a godliness but with no power!

II Timothy 3:5
(is there power in Paul? in KJB? to know... to do... there certainly is not a magic Jesus...

They follow a false belief

Do you listen to music more than you read your Bible?

So much music today - SO MUCH!

They claim their power is in prayer!

More books and programs totally based on 'formal' prayer, etc.

With no answers to all your prayers, you will either be discouraged and/or just feel guilty that you are not right to ask, etc.?

They prove their godliness by their gain!

"Understanding from God" means:
God is 'still' talking to them!

doctrinal changes for the times and teachings today

in circumstances
in feelings
in reasoning
in scholarship
in pastors & professors

This all goes against Rightly dividing - it DID exist BEFORE the KJB1611!

Study? Nobody tells them to study anything!

Remember when you were told you HAD to attend? Worship guilt! Any day every day - Colossians 2:16, etc.

False Church design!

wrong foundation - Acts 2 or 9 or 13 or 28, etc.
wrong 'place' - according to Acts 17
wrong 'purpose' - according to Ephesians 4

purpose of the modern church is 'fellowship!

Run by honourable and devout women

can not understand Paul's doctrinal teachings let alone the whole "Paul thing," anyway.'

They struggle to still have that dream home & family!

T.V. family - Beav/ Ozzie/ etc.
Calvinistic / post millennial designed Christianity - you can't always believe these great history books, ya know...
Happiness and fun priority - will help kids 'do right.'

Still a goal for you? A goal that is higher than all others?

They manufacture a quiet and peaceable life but NOT in all godliness and honesty!

Their peace and quiet is different than God's!
If they are all busy, that is 'quiet' to them!
We are CREATED unto good works - Paul's!

Ephesians 2:10 - For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Kids are their gods!
Galatians 4:1,2 - Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

husbands MUST allow their wives to devote more time to schooling at home!
still no education based on boy / girl bible curriculum to prepare to live properly

as designed by God

but how to fall into nets set by Satan

treated like stars, cute & laugh and the kids know how to use that
Can't let go of the little gods, eh! Well, I understand more than you know!
If you don't, though - you could ruin their marriage!

American Christianity is all a result of profane and vain babblings!

Is it not obvious? Rightly dividing! good words, fair speechs, vain words, etc.

We can see that is the devil putting it all together for his army!

Bible describes the Tribulation in enough detail and in the proper dispensational placement in the Bible, that we can see it approaching!

In contrast to the American Christianity scene, the self professing and proud 'lost' enjoy being anti-God, etc.

Be true to the cross, they say - the symbol of American Christianity.

witches, Satanists, etc. wear them

for the religious, the cross comes with Gospel teachings - be true to their pastor & professor and school, etc.

We are to be true to the Book - to His words - rightly divided!

Friends with NO strings! Love everyone, after all, God loves everyone, too!

Never any 'from such, turn away' - 'withdraw from' - flee, mark, have no company with, etc.
if so, they base it on the gospels, not Paul!

Remember the Psalm from Sunday night - it was the acquaintance that hurt him!

Liberty with no exceptions! Party Hearty - we are Christians...

They are so afraid of bondage - or legalism!

Galatians 5:1 - Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

There are strings attached!

Not cause others to stumble!

I Corinthians 8:9 - But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours become a stumblingblock to them that are weak.

Not to do what you want!

Galatians 5:13 - For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

Must edify - and of course, edify the truth!

I Corinthians 10:23 - All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

Modesty with no rules?

they base their nakedness only in comparison to others - II Corinthians 10:12

nakedness has 'no affect on us' - it is the guys problem!

"Christians" are catching up to the world, let alone just following!
our little children are taught immodesty even before the parts develop - then it is too late!
the more skin, the more sin! If not now, soon. Then it will be too late!

modesty standards should include men, as well. Skin is skin!
why would any father / husband even allow others to see his daughter / wife?
why would anyone want to show their parts outside - day or night - IF they are a real Christian, that is.
wearing dresses 'most' of the time destroys any concept of modesty standards.
here is a challenge to the ladies: When a lady is in a dress, are you still dressed correctly? I Timothy 2:9
teach them shamefacedness when they are young! I Timothy 2:9

shamefacedness - Bashfulness; excess of modesty -

why hang around the edge...?
why be a tease?
why don't you mind even a little 'oops' once-in-a-while?
why do you have to keep tugging to get the suit back into the correct place? Where IS it the correct place?
if you really think nobody is around to watch you in or getting out of a pool, do you believe it enough to get out with nothing on?

Jeremiah 6:15 - Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the LORD.

Will be times of hardness & disappointment for us!
Willing? Choose or be forced or just live with until too late?

Can not compare with others as our standard!

We will be considered enemy!

Galatians 4:16 - Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?

We will be loved less!

II Corinthians 2:4 - For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that ye should be grieved, but that ye might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you.
II Corinthians 12:15 - And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.

It will take a tough love for those who do not want the truth of God's Words!

When push comes to shove... Let em go - push them out withdraw from, from such turn away - unless they are seeking God's truthful way - then grace!

I Corinthians 5:5 - To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
I Timothy 1:20 - Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.

America's Christianity is a Christianity with a false Christ!
Christian America's God is an unknown God!
America's gods are money, children, pleasures, themselves!

You can not fit Bible Christianity into today's American Christianity!

If you insist on trying, you will have to compromise to do it - and it will all just burn in the Judgment Seat of Christ.
Yes, you won't burn, only your works will burn. But I hope your kids don't burn because of your compromised -works!

Don't jump ship - just prepare for the coming shipwreck!
