How
To Love the Brethren
Part
II
|
More: How Do We Love Our Fellow Brethren/Brethrenettes?
Answer: We look at them like God looks at them!
Do ye look on things after the outward appearance?
If any man trust to himself that he is
Christ's, let him of himself think this again,
that, as he is Christ's, even so are we
Christ's.
II Corinthians 10:7
That is seems so simple, eh!
So, how do we do that?
Here ya go:
-
Here is what God made the brethren, just like He made to you. We
are to look at each other like God looks at us - and how He looks at you!
The judgment seat of Christ will take care of the rest! Romans
14:10; II Corinthians 5:10
These notes are just a continuing of more verses
- from the very mouth of God - on how to love the brethren by seeing how
He loves us and what He sees when He looks at us!
Allow me to stress this point 'again!'
-
This is how a marriage can be saved as well as how a proper biblical marriage
can be started - one that is NOT based on twinkle dust and love potion
number 9, but on Biblical principals and desires that God will bless!
PS & reminder: this is NOT from e.harmony.com - this
is from the mouth of God!

Answer: We look at each other like God looks at
all of us!
We ALL Drink into ONE Spirit!
I Corinthians 12:13:
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we
be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made
to drink into one Spirit.
-
Either we have the Spirit of God, or we don't.
There are no variations and various ways of drinking into the Spirit!
See Romans 8:9
-
Only one baptism and isn't 'the drink' - water! Ephesians
4:5; 'by one Spirit...
We are all made alive!
I Corinthians 15:22:
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
-
We are sustained and live daily by Christ - through the Bible, etc. - Galatians
2:20 - I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless
I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live
in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave
himself for me.
We all are to live by the spirit, not the letter!
II Corinthians 3:6: Who
also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter,
but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life.
-
New Testament begins AFTER Christ died (Hebrews
9:16,17) - so we see us living after Paul's teachings of Christ
through grace and God's goodness & longsuffering - not the letter!
More important than the 'house,' material things... etc.!
II Corinthians 5:1:
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved,
we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the
heavens.
-
Church of Smyrna ...Revelation
2:9: I know thy works, and tribulation,
and poverty, (but thou art rich)
-
Riches can destroy or be eternally rewarding... I
Timothy 6:10-12 - For the love of money
is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred
from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. But thou,
O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness,
faith, love, patience, meekness. Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold
on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good
profession before many witnesses. ...
-
I Timothy 6:17-19
- Charge them that are rich in this world,
that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the
living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do
good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to
communicate; Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against
the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
-
They just choke the word! Luke 8:14
- And that which fell among thorns are they,
which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches
and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.
We are all made the righteousness of God - IN him!
II Corinthians 5:21:
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be
made
the righteousness of God in him.
-
note: IN him, not by him i.e.. works, etc. lest any man should boast!
Our strength is made perfect in weakness!
II Corinthians 12:9: And
he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made
perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities,
that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
-
"Failure is normal, success is the exception!"

It is those things that we did through Christ that
strengthens us, too. Not some magical Jesus... See Philippians
4:1 - I can do all things through Christ
which strengtheneth me.
We are redeemed - so is everyone else!
(the brethren, that is!). He became their curse, too!
Galatians 3:13:
Christ hath redeemed us from
the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed
is every one that hangeth on a tree:
-
Redeem - Ransomed; delivered from
bondage, distress, penalty, liability, or from the possession of another,
by paying an equivalent.
-
So are the other brethren!
Made us free!
Galatians 5:1:
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free,
and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
-
Don't try to make that emotional twinkle dust and
magic potion number 9 sustain your marriage!
-
Without following God's ways of loving each other
as He loves us, you will end up entangled again with the yoke of bondage!
He has made us accepted!
Ephesians 1:6: To
the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted
in the beloved.
-
Why can't we accept each other as He accepted us?
-
Well, He did have to do some cleaning up, eh - and
the by grace and truth, etc.
-
And all of the brethren are now cleaned up, right?
We are already there, anyway!
Ephesians 2:6:
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly
places in Christ Jesus:
-
And so is everyone else - together! - specially and even ... ____________!
Part
III has even more ways on HOW to love the brethren!
See
part I - loving the brethren fulfills the law that we are to establish
today with Paul!
