'Christians' are comparing church teachings - there are no Scriptures in their conversations!

Colossians 2:8 - Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

They are mixing false gospels! - there is NO truth in their religions!
    We met a man who said he was a born again Mormon
    We men a young man who is studying to be a priest and said that a priest is not 'needed' - is just a helper!
    We met 'scholars' who did their normal scholar stuff - and never did mention the word of God or that "God says..."
    We met folks who have their home fellowships and bible studies - and yet they have no single bible authority.
    We met folks who asked us, "Have you read ________?" and yet never ask about the Bible itself.
    We met a catholic who believes in very little of the catholic church teachings - but stays with them, anyway.  Bondage to religion!

Typical stuff, eh!  But it sure did seem to be worse than before.
II Timothy 3:13 - But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Lovers of pleasures MORE than lovers of God...
Establishing their own righteousness / religion... Romans 10:3
False professions ... Titus 1:16
Lovers of money - err from faith - sorrows, etc.  I Timothy 6:10

People today:
    ...have WRONG Bible!
    ...WRONGLY Divide!
    ...WREST the Scripture!
    ...hang around the WRONG people!
    ...LISTEN to the WRONG people!

PROUD / BOASTERS
We could see the Proud Boasting from these folks who have come to their own conclusions of their religion mixing - by rejecting the very words of God in the King James Bible!
II Timothy 3:2 - proud... boasters
Ephesians 2:8,9 ... lest any should boast!
They are boasting their religion more than BIble Believers are telling folks the truth about rightly dividing!

Listen to the words of Jeremiah as he tried to tell God's people they were not listening to the words of God!
2:8 - The priests said not, Where is the LORD?  and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.
2:11 - Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods?  but my people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit.
7:8 - Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.
9:3 - And they bend their tongues like their bow for lies: but they are not valiant for the truth upon the earth; for they proceed from evil to evil, and they know not me, saith the LORD.
9:5,6 - And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity. Thine habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the LORD.
14:14 - Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.
23:10-14 - For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourneth; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force is not right.  For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, saith the LORD. Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery ways in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, saith the LORD. And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to err.  I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none doth return from his wickedness: they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.
23:16-18 - Thus saith the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD. They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD hath said, Ye shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walketh after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.  For who hath stood in the counsel of the LORD, and hath perceived and heard his word?  who hath marked his word, and heard it?
23:21,22 - I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied. But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.

What does Paul say God says about these liars?
(Is it no wonder that 'smart' home schooling, self-educated 'Christians ignore Paul!  Paul tells it like it is about them if they are correctors and non KJB Rightly Dividers, etc.!)
I Timothy 6:3-5 -If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;  He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,  Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

We are to mark the folks that do not follow Paul's teachings and not listen to them!
Romans 16:17 - Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.

We are to mark the folks that do and then listen to them!
Philippians 3:17 - Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

Why don't Christians - Bible Believers - do that?  Is there no wonder their children go astray when they get older?  Is it no wonder their marriages are a mess today?  It is no wonder!  Christians are listening to Liars!
