Kindness of God
That in the ages to
come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ
Jesus. Ephesians 2:7
Hard to see the 'kindness' of God these days?
Maybe it isn't His fault that we think we don't see God's kindness with
the direction of the country / world these days?
Is this 'direction' just His design and He forces us to follow it?
Is He so sovereign that this is the way He planned it?
or is this all written because of His foreknowledge?
Revelation 1:19 - Write
the things which thou has seen, and the things which are, and the things
which shall be hereafter;
Acts 2:23 - Him,
being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye
have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
Concerning obeying the government, etc. could Romans
13:1 be explained with Romans 13:2
- are the rulers today resisting God's ordained power?
If so, then they will be receiving damnation!
...and it appears they will be according to a rightly divided KJB
II Timothy 2:1,2
More and more, they are denying us the opportunity to
lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty!
Who is god of this world, anyway?... let's blame the one 'in charge.'
II Corinthians 4:4 - In
whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe
not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image
of God, should shine unto them.
We 'can be' enlightened through rightly dividing
a King James Bible following Paul's teachings of the Risen Saviour!
Ephesians 1:18 - The
eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is
the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance
in the saints,
NOT anointed!
I John 2:27 - But
the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need
not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all
things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye
shall abide in him.
This is NOT written TO us today, as neither is the
entire book of I John,
etc.!
This is written to those in the tribulation - ye
ole KJB will be in a famine status!
But folks sure act like they can not be taught anything
anymore other than by God himself through their heart and life, etc.
II Corinthians 11:3,4 - But
I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty,
so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached,
or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another
gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.
How many of us and for how long did we bear with
the wrong Jesus - because of the wrong spirit - or wrong gospel?
Not meaning 'other bibles' either - an actual 'wrong
gospel' being taught to us from the King James Bible!
synagogue of satan - Revelation 3:9
ministers of righteousness - II Corinthians 11:13-15
Jewish fables - Titus 1:14
Jewish teachings in preparation for antichrist
blinding the minds of those lost - them that are: without
Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from
the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
Ephesians
2:12
subverted homes
To overthrow from the foundation; to overturn; to ruin utterly. 2.
To corrupt; to confound; to pervert the mind, and turn it from the truth.
hearers - II Timothy 2:14
then to souls - Acts 15:24
then to the homes - Titus 1:11
silly women led away with divers lusts - II Timothy
2:6
strong man taken out
ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth - II
Timothy 2:7
their folly being manifested more and more today - II
Timothy 2:9
not enduring sound doctrine - II Timothy
4:3,4
greatly withstanding God's words - Titus 4:15
not wanting to 'continue in' or even have or know about God's goodness
-
soon to be cut off as a nation! - Romans 11:22
a nation wise in it's own deceits - Romans
11:25
partakers of the fruits of darkness - Ephesians
5:11
reaping what we have sown over the years... - Galatians
6:7-9
for the Christians specifically, blinded hearts - Ephesians
4:17-19
Having the understanding darkened
being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them
ignorance? not knowing the Scriptures, ye do err!
because of the blindness of their heart
being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness
to work all uncleanness with greediness.
abuse of the liberty in Christ
not edifying - I Corinthians 10:23
not expedient - I Corinthians 6:12
occasion to the flesh - Galatians 5:13
put us under the power of - I Corinthians 6:12
caused others (family & friends) to stumble - Romans
14:19
How long had we followed an unknown God?
How long have we followed religion - in any form, and for how long - and
how serious? etc.?
Have we not learned from Jeremiah's command from Jeremiah
1:10?
to root out
to pull down
to destroy
to throw down
to build
to plant.
Have we done it all ourselves 'our way' for 'our own pleasures'
- being lovers of
pleasures more than lovers of God?
Are we not pleased when we please God? (don't we get pleasure ourselves
when we strive to please someone we love?)
Have we expected physical blessings based on our walk - and/or do we walk
depending on physical blessings?
How hard did we try to 'do' thinking we could earn God's blessings - Proverbs
31 -Titus2 woman
/ a Timothy man / a Joshua / a Jeremiah?
Are we seeing the folly of this "profane and
vain babblings of godliness that is without the power thereof?"
How much have you studied in the word of truth?
How long have you rightly divided?
How much more effort & energy have we put into 'doing' instead
of 'being?'
Do those who are 'Paul followers' of the Risen Christ even know
FULLY
II Timothy 3:10 -
But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose,
faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
Have you "fully" heard?
(Yes, it hasn't been fully preached, either - but
we still do have our KJB to rightly divide ourselves - well for now, anyway...
In fact, it isn't being preached AT ALL anymore!)
I Corinthians 4:17 -For
this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful
in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in
Christ, as I teach every where in every church.
II Timothy 4:17 -
Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me
the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might
hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
Romans 15:19 -Through
mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from
Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the
gospel of Christ.
God's Kindness Toward Us!
Read the rest of the verse and the other one, too!
Ephesians 2:7-9 - That
in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace
in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye
saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Titus 3:4 - But
after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his
mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the
Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to
the hope of eternal life.
Is something 'else' going on?
Maybe some of those radio guys are right - some of those so-called scare
authors? 'SOME" - but which ones?
Hmmm - could this Writer be telling us something... again?
II Thessalonians 2:1-4 - Now
we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by
our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or
be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us,
as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means:
for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and
that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth
himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he
as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
II Thessalonians 2:9-12 - Even
him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs
and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them
that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they
might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion,
that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed
not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.
Jeremiah 33:11 - The
voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and
the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD
of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of
them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD.
For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first,
saith the LORD.
Jeremiah 25:10 - Moreover
I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the
voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones,
and the light of the candle.
Jeremiah 7:34 - Then
will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of
Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of
the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate.
Jeremiah 16:9 - For
thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to
cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice of mirth,
and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of
the bride.
Proverbs 1:24-33
Amos 8:11-13 - Behold,
the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land,
not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words
of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north
even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD,
and shall not find it. In that day shall the fair virgins and young men
faint for thirst.
Where is our peace through all of these days?
Galatians 6:14-16 - But
God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus
Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision,
but a new creature. And as many as walk according to this rule,
peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.
We have to remember, the new
creature includes more than just the
"do's" but also the "be's"!
Our stuff to 'glory' is the Risen Saviour stuff -
as we are crucified unto the world and visa versa...!
It seems that we don't want that crucifixion by and
unto the world!
The world so takes that 'glory' away from us...
Evil communications, etc.
Little leaven, etc.
Romans 15:13 - Now
the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye
may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
Where is our hope?
It is to be abounding? (another sermon coming soon)
Philippians 4:6,7 - Be
careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with
thanksgivinglet your requests be made known unto God. And the
peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and
minds through Christ Jesus.
I Timothy 2:2 - I
exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions,
and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that
are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness
and honesty.
Now WE are to exhibit kindness to others!
Colossians 3:12 -
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies,
kindness,
humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering; Forbearing one another, and
forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ
forgave you, so also do ye. And above all these things put on charity,
which is the bond of perfectness. And let the peace of God rule in your
hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
Not as an excuse to participate in the fruits of
darkness...
Not as an excuse to not avoid, not withdraw, not speak out, not admonish,
reprove, rebuke with all authority, not reject, not mark the right people
as well as the wrong, not cast off and possibly not even be thankful to
God for what He has given us... and done to us, etc.
Not an excuse for having fellowship, having company, partaking with, striving
without giving heed to the wrong things / people / activities, etc.
Not as an excuse so we can no longer read, study
and heed the Scriptures, etc. but knowing we can't leave the earth - YET
- we must still seek out 'his good pleasure' - so we would abound more
and more. (I Thessalonians 4:1)
I just figure we don't want to abound in what God
would have us abound...
Remember Paul's struggle will
be our struggle:
Romans 7:21-25
- I find then a law, that, when I would
do good, evil is present with me. For I delight in the law of God after
the inward man: But I see another law in my members, warring against the
law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which
is in my members. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the
body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then
with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law
of sin.
Keep the faith until the end...
If you want, read
II Timothy 1:12-18 - that is an encouraging
set of verses for a pastor / missionary, etc. of Paul's Gospel!
II Timothy 4:5-8
- But watch thou in all things, endure
afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the
faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which
the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me
only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO

We
learn from the "For" and we learn to apply the 'TO!"
