Does Your Joy Need
Help?
Part IV
Not
for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for
by faith ye stand. II
Corinthians 1:24
And having
this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all
for your furtherance and joy of faith; that
your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for
me by my coming to you again. Philippians
1:25
Rightly
Dividing "Happiness"
Happiness
that comes from standing before God - before Solomon - before the
Risen Christ - before Paul - before rightly
dividing the King James Bible!
Happiness
of the wicked in the world!
A Question
that can still be asked today!
Jeremiah 12:1:
Righteous art thou, O LORD, when I plead with thee: yet let me talk with
thee of thy judgments: Wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper?
wherefore are all they happy that deal very treacherously?
Wherefore - what
is the cause - the reason - how is that? ... not just 'why do they do that'
Now, with the
KJB, we know the answer.
Romans 2:4,5
-
... despisest thou the riches of his
goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness
of God leadeth thee to repentance? But after thy hardness and impenitent
heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation
of the righteous judgment of God;
Job 21:7-15
- Wherefore do the wicked live, become
old, yea, are mighty in power? Their seed is established in their
sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes. Their houses are
safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them. Their bull gendereth,
and faileth not; their cow calveth, and casteth not her calf. They send
forth their little ones like a flock, and their children dance. They take
the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the organ. They spend
their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave. Therefore they
say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of thy ways.
What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should
we have, if we pray unto him?
End of Old Testament
- sounds familiar today, eh!
Malachi 3:15:
And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set
up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.
Happiness
came from standing before God - before Solomon - etc.
I Kings 10:8:
Happy are thy men, happy are these thy servants, which stand continually
before thee, and that hear thy wisdom.
Psalms 144:15:
Happy is that people, that is in such a case: yea, happy is that people,
whose God is the LORD.
Today, happiness
is standing/kneeling before the Risen Christ - before Paul - before rightly
dividing the King James Bible, learning and knowing how to serve the Living
God today!
Psalms 146:5:
Happy
is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD
his God:
The same God is
now the God of Paul
...God of the
King James Bible
Is He the God
that your church preaches?
Is He your God?
...or the unknown
God of Acts 17?
Job 5:17: Behold,
happy is the man whom God correcteth: therefore despise not thou the chastening
of the Almighty:
Correction / Chastisement
Today?
Reproof -
Blame
expressed to the face; censure for a fault; reprehension.
II Timothy
3:16: All scripture is given by inspiration
of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness:
Ephesians 5:11:
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather
reprove them.
Ephesians 5:13:
But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever
doth make manifest is light.
Colossians
1:22: In the body of his flesh through
death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:
Rebuke - To
chide; to reprove; to reprehend for a fault; to check by reproof. 2.
To check or restrain. 3. To chasten; to punish; to afflict for correction.
4. To check; to silence. 5. To check; to heal. 6. To
restrain; to calm.
II Timothy
4:2: Preach the word; be instant in season,
out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
Titus 1:13:
This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound
in the faith;
Titus 2:15:
These
things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise
thee.
I Timothy 5:20:
Them that sin rebuke before all, that others also may fear.
Psalm 127:5:
Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed,
but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
It seems that
Americans have been taught to be ashamed of their children.
Not as many
Not cared for
Unnatural affection
No clue how to
train them
Let someone else
bring them up
Mexicans have
plenty of children
Islamic folks
have plenty of children and sure do train them!
Psalm 128:2:
For
thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall
be well with thee.
Proverbial
Wisdom for happiness seekers:
Proverbs 3:13:
Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.
Found through
Paul and the Risen Christ and the KJB today!
Proverbs 3:18:
She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every
one that retaineth her.
Retaining means
it will actually affect and change one's daily walk - according to Paul,
of course.
Acts 26:18;
Philippians 4:9; etc.
Proverbs 14:21:
He that despiseth his neighbour sinneth: but he that hath mercy on the
poor, happy is he.
John 12:8:
For
the poor always ye have with you; but me ye have not always.
May still have
to some turn away - withdraw from, avoid, have no fellowship with, etc.
Proverbs 16:20:
He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso trusteth in
the LORD, happy is he.
Today, a trust
according toEphesians
1:13, etc.
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel
of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed
with that holy Spirit of promise,
Trust his words
from Paul for your walk, as well!
Not just your
soul!
Proverbs 28:14:
Happy
is the man that feareth alway: but he that hardeneth his heart shall fall
into mischief.
Fear
Know your place
and know the ways of the Risen Christ
The goodness of
God - fear now is a respectful fear of God being who He is - GOD!
I Timothy 3:16:And
without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest
in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the
Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
Hardness of heart
pride
conceit
closed ears, closed
eyes, etc.
bitterness
Ephesians 4:31:
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking,
be put away from you, with all malice:
Reap what you
sow
Galatians 6:7:
Be
not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall
he also reap.
Proverbs 29:18:
Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law,
happy is he.
Establish the
law
Romans 3:31:Do
we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish
the law.
do right according
to the Risen Christ
not abuse gracers
not liberty in
Christ users
Philippians
4:9 - do the things and ways of Paul!
Happiness is what
happens on this earth - and it is still possible to please God FIRST!
A joy comes from
putting God first!
Happiness
from Paul's Teachings To Us Today:
Acts 26:2:
I
think myself happy, king Agrippa, because I shall answer for myself this
day before thee touching all the things whereof I am accused of the Jews:
He had his opportunity
to talk about what he needs to talk about!
Romans 14:22:
Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he
that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.
Romans 7:25
- it is a constant battle!
Keep getting up
and going forward.
Don't have to
crawl the rest of your Christian life!
Happiness
During the Tribulation
These are things
that we can learn from as we approach the Tribulation:
Matthew 24:37:
But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man
be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and
drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered
into the ark,
Luke 17:28-30
-
Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they
bought, they sold, they planted, they builded; But the same day that Lot
went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed
them all. Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.
James 5:11:
Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience
of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful,
and of tender mercy.
End of the Lord?
We know the ending
of it all!
We have a rightly
divided KJB
We don't just
know the ending, we know what the plan was from the beginning to the end!
There is no end
- it is just another beginning!
Lake of Fire or
Millennium and eternity, etc.
God provided it
all for them - it is people's own choice today!
I Peter 3:14:
But
and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid
of their terror, neither be troubled;
Do we suffer for
righteousness?
Do we suffer our
own laziness, lack of wisdom, etc.?
Are we just reaping?
Is America just
reaping what we have done - no God's judgment yet!
9/11? - we knew
it was coming
Katrina flooding,
etc.? - Man's fault for building 'below' water level and bad dikes!
CA fires, etc.?
Environmentalists preventing brush cutting - or just building in bad places!
crime in America?
Taking guns away from citizens, etc.!
Small lingering
wars? Politics!
I Peter 4:14:
If
ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of
glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of,
but on your part he is glorified.
For the name of
Christ today? The Risen Saviour teachings! Through Paul!

1:27-30
