Paul's Greetings
to Celina, Ohio
|
After last week's farewell from Paul to Touchet,
we now hear from Paul as he greets Celina, Ohio.
Sure, Paul always mentions grace the first verses - this is the dispensation
of grace, etc.
-
Ephesians 3:2 -
If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given
me to you-ward.
-
I Corinthians 15:10 - But
by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon
me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not
I, but the grace of God which was with me.
-
II Corinthians 6:1 - We
then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not
the grace of God in vain.
But he also has some 'first' things he wants to say to the various churches
and people... let's see if those would be good things for Celina to hear
- if only they would!
Chances are, they will react as did most of the people after they heard
Paul preach and teach - but not everyone reacted in that manner - we must
find those who are willing to listen to the KJB, rightly divided - seeking
the Risen Saviour through the ministry of Paul ONLY!
So, what does the Risen Saviour have to say through
Paul
and the King James Bible to those first timers in Celina
and to the rest of the world who may 'tune' in to this sermon?
First things first!
-
Acts 9:19-22
-
Teaching that he is that very Christ!
-
For us, we must first agree on the King James Bible being the very Word
of God - the Holy Scriptures - the final authority!
-
II Timothy 2:25 -they
need to acknowledge the truth!
In meekness
instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give
them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
-
I Thessalonians 2:13
- For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received
the word of God which he heard of us, ye received it not as the word of
men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh
also in you that believe.
-
II Corinthians 2:17 - For
we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity,
but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.
-
The Book - the KJB!
-
churches had rest - see verse
31
-
Churches could do the very same thing today, too!
-
If - II Timothy 2:15,16
- Study to shew thyself approved unto God,
a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of
truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto
more ungodliness.
-
I Corinthians 4:17 - For
this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful
in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in
Christ, as I teach every where in every church.
-
Remember, Timothy - and others - came with comfort?
-
I Thessalonians 3:2 - And
sent Timotheus, our brother, and minister of God, and our fellowlabourer
in the gospel of Christ, to establish you, and to comfort you concerning
your faith:
-
I Thessalonians 2:10-12 - Ye
are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we
behaved ourselves among you that believe: As ye know how we exhorted
and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,
That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom
and glory.
-
Colossians 4:7,8 - All
my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother,
and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord: Whom I have sent
unto you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort
your hearts; (penned Colossians)
-
II Corinthians 7:6,7 - Nevertheless
God, that comforteth those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming
of Titus; And not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewith
he was comforted in you, when he told us your earnest desire, your mourning,
your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more. 13
- Therefore we were comforted in your comfort:
yea, and exceedingly the more joyed we for the joy of Titus, because his
spirit was refreshed by you all.
-
Don't look for friends and family to give us or allow
us to have that comfort for our learning to follow the Risen Saviour, according
to Paul, from within the King James Bible!
-
I have learned that we don't have to go out of our
way, or make any extra effort to offend people - a rightly divided KJB
even offends the local Baptist pastors who claim to be King James Bible
preachers.

The
entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO
us!
We
learn from the "For" and we learn to apply the 'TO!"
