A Saviour
Like the Most High
Matthew 24:23-27
Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets,
and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that,
if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
Behold, I have told you before.
Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert;
go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west;
so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

II Corinthians 11:1-4
Would to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly:
and indeed bear with me.
For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy:
for I have espoused you to one husband,
that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty,
so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached,
or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received,
or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

I. This Phony Jesus Was 'Formed' in Eternity
Some cults believe that Jesus was just another angel; some, (JW) identify Him with michael the archangel.
Others say he was the brother of Satan - not God, just a son of God, like other angels.
Many verses in modern Bible versions also take the Deity of Jesus Christ away.
The real Jesus always was and always is and always will be!
Colossians 1:15,16
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
John Calvin taught that Jesus was begotten sometime in eternity past!
Calvin even killed someone over the issue
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth,
visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions,
or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
He was the beginning of every creature because He created them!
Revelation 3:14
And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write;
These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness,
the beginning of the creation of God;
John 1:1-3
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.
 All things were made by him;
and without him was not any thing made that was made.
John 17:5
And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory
which I had with thee before the world was.

Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Psalm 90:1,2
LORD, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
Before the mountains were brought forth,
or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world,
even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.
II.  This Phony Jesus Is Feminine
A. Painters paint him with long hair!
The real Jesus was not feminine in His appearance!
He would not go against His own preached words!
Jesus was a Nazarene, being from Nazareth, but He was not a Nazarite.
Proof of that is seen in the fact that he approached dead people, and He drank of the juice of the grape.

I Corinthians 11:14
Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair,
it is a shame unto him?
I Peter 1:16
Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
Hebrews 4:15
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched
with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are,
yet without sin.
II Corinthians 5:21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin;
that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Ezekiel 44:20
Neither shall they shave their heads, nor suffer their locks to grow long;
they shall only poll their heads.
No extreme either way with the hair!

A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.

B. Pansies Call Him a Sodomite
(see the press and modern movies - and NIV)
They say John was his 'partner'!
(or even a fornicating affair with Mary, etc.)

III. This Phony Jesus Is Frail
A. In his Physique
The real Jesus was not 'frail!'
John 19:5
Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe.
And Pilate saith unto them, Behold the man!

John 10:17,18
Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life,
that I might take it again.
No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself.
I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.
This commandment have I received of my Father.

Matthew 26:53
Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father,
and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

Matthew 28:18
And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying,
All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

B. In his Preaching
The real Jesus - He was a name caller - 'oh oh  for shame'!
"hypocrites, blind guides, fools, serpents, vipers, dogs, swine"
Mat 23:14-33; 15:26; 7:6
He preached on hell, judgment, sin!
Tells people they are ignorant of the Scriptures!
No 'sweet spirit' of Jesus in the real Jesus!

Mark 3:5
And when he had looked round about on them with anger,
being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man,
Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out:
and his hand was restored whole as the other.

Luke 4:36
And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying,
What a word is this! for with authority and power
he commandeth the unclean spirits,
and they come out.

John 7:44-46
And some of them would have taken him; but no man laid hands on him.
Then came the officers to the chief priests and Pharisees;
and they said unto them, Why have ye not brought him?
The officers answered, Never man spake like this man.

IV. This Phony Jesus Is a Failure
A. Unable to Save!
Matt 24:25; II Thess 2:8-10; Lk 8:12; Rev 16:14; 17:12-14
These signs are being used to keep people from being
saved in order to fight against the Lord when He returns.
The Real Jesus Saves!
John 1:29
 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith,
Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Hebrews 7:25
 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him,
seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

B. Unable to Secure!
The Real Jesus Won't Let Go!
Doctrines of Imputation (Romans 4) - Spiritual Circumcision (Col 2) - Eternal Security!
Romans 10:3
For they being ignorant of God's righteousness,
and going about to establish their own righteousness,
have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

Hebrews 5:9
And being made perfect,
he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;

John 10:27-30
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish,
neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all;
and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
I and my Father are one.

Rom 8:38,39
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels,
nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

II Timothy 2:12
 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him:
if we deny him, he also will deny us:
If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful:
he cannot deny himself.

C. Unable to Strengthen!
The Real Jesus is our Strength!
Philippians 4:13
 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

II Timothy 4:17

Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion. And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

D. Unable to Supply!
The Voice from Heaven shows all what the supply house contains!
The Real Jesus Does Supply
John 4:13
Jesus answered and said unto her,
Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again:
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst;
but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water
springing up into everlasting life.

Philippians 4:19
But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches
in glory by Christ Jesus.

Psalm 37:25
 I have been young, and now am old;
yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

I Timothy 6:8
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

If your saviour is unable to supply the basic needs of life and all the things mentioned above, they YOU HAVE THE WRONG SAVIOUR!  You have a failure for a saviour!  The devil's counterfeit saviour 1) was formed in eternity; 2) is feminine; 3) is frail; and 4) is a failure.  Don't be fooled!  The devil is able to pull off some clever tricks and he imitates God pretty closely.  You don't want a saviour who tries to be LIKE the most High, you want the Saviour who IS the Most High!
