To Be Like the Most High
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will
ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars
of God:
I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation,
in the sides of the north:
I will ascend above the heights of the
clouds;
I will be like the most High.

Introduction
Matthew
24:4-13
4: And
Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5: For
many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6: And
ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled:
for all these things must
come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7: For
nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom:
and there shall be famines,
and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8: All
these are the beginning of sorrows.
9: Then
shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you:
and ye shall be hated of
all nations for my name's sake.
10: And
then shall many be offended,
and shall betray one another,
and shall hate one another.
11: And
many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12: And
because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13: But
he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
Now, we ought to be totally aware,
that by understanding the Scriptures and being able to rightly divide the
word of truth, that we know we don't have to concern ourselves with 'enduring'
to be saved - our salvation has been bought and paid for! We know
that this is one of those places in the Bible that is written FOR
us, but not TO us!
It can, however, be FOR us
because have you noticed that there appears to be plenty of enduring that
needs to be taking place in these days - even with us King James Christians?
If we have chosen to cross any Jordan Rivers in our life, or have chosen
to make any growth with our Bible and improve our walk with God and/or
be a light in this wicked and crooked world, we still can read through
Matt 24 and see some close application
in our own lives!
Phil:2:15
That ye may be blameless
and harmless, the sons of God,
without rebuke, in the midst
of a crooked and perverse nation,
among whom ye shine as lights
in the world;
This series, called The Great
Imitator, will zero in on verse 11,
where it says that many false prophets
shall rise, and shall deceive many. Also
in Matthew 24:24 For
there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great
signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive
the very elect.
Knowing all the many ways that the Devil
has corrupted, perverted and otherwise destroyed God's many revelations
to man, we can certainly understand how the natural man can not understand
spiritual things. We can truly see the need to be born again in order
to deal with the blindness people have towards God's words and God's authority.

But you know folks,
as these trials and tribulations pick up in these last days, there is no
reason for US to lose our joy, comfort and peace - EVER! Remember
How
Great a Work we are! Remember all that God has completely 'settled'
for us! We must never forget to set
our affection on things above!
Col 1:1-3
But that ole devil just doesn't
seem to be satisfied into letting us alone. He can not swallow us, amen,
but he sure does seem to want to chew on us before God makes him spit us
out for that finally pitooee into God's heavenly spittoon! I
Per 5:8,9 Be sober, be vigilant;
because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking
whom he may devour: Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the
same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.
I hope this series will help you
resist stedfast in the faith - remember
that you are not the only one in these battles, amen?
I Timothy
4:1
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly,
that in the latter times
some shall depart from the faith,
giving heed to seducing spirits,
and doctrines of devils;
Note that in these 'latter times' (not
'last days', but 'latter times' - America has been around awhile, amen?)
that there will be those who will have departed from the faith. (Again,
not talking salvation here.) They were duped - deceived & seduced
by seducing spirits and doctrines of
devils!
These departed brethren are now
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their
conscience seared with a hot iron...
and are
calling evil good, and good
evil; they are putting darkness
for light, and light for darkness; they
are putting bitter for sweet, and sweet
for bitter!
Isaiah
5:20
They are speaking
lies in hypocrisy - they are 'teaching'
the words of the devil, not the words of God. They are using perversion
after perversion and are becoming and are teaching others to become IMITATORS.
They are teaching others that they
should imitate God (Ephesians 5:1);
Paul (I Corinthians 4:16);
the Apostles (I Thessalonians 1:6);
the Churches of God - the Body of Christ (I
Thessalonians 2:14); The great men of
the faith (Hebrews 6:12)
and last but not least, their own pastor (Hebrews
13:7) (who is just sly enough, by the
way, to not to 'tell' their people to IMITATE God because their people
don't read their imitation bibles, anyway, to see it, so they just show
them).
These seducing spirits - - how can
we decide if any spirit is of the Devil or is of God?
I John 4:1-3! And without going
into that study here, we can easily see that this world, this nation and
most self-proclaimed christians have been deceived by this spirit of antichrist
because most people use imitation bibles which are written by an
imitation god! This imitation gospel is carried about by
an imitation spirit from imitation churches which have been
built across this country and are being led by imitation preachers (called
ministers of righteousness in II Corinthians
11:15) and have no doubt
created imitation christians by giving them an imitation salvation
by an imitation saviour!! Matthew
7:22,23
Let's look at one of the devils ploys for an example
of how he works.
1) He takes the children away
from the parents & start a public school system under the guise of
teaching kids to read so they can read the Bible (Ole Satan Deluder Act
- 1647).
2) He gets the federal government
to run the schools! - TAKE the control away from the parents.
3) He takes God out of the
schools! - Destroy the moral and spiritual protection of the children!
4) Now, he takes away the
'good' reading programs - so kids can't learn to read the Bible!
5) He insert his own curriculums
& philosophies! (evolution, new math, new American History, new lifestyles,
self-esteem, legal drugs, Dr Spock's new discipline books, feminism, no
authority and no solid family, etc)
6) He inserts anti drug and
sex programs that teach the kids all about sex and drugs.
7) The schools crumble, kids
don't learn to read and they learn to hate school!
8) He insert his own games
and activities to make school 'fun' instead of a 'learning' place (pokeman,
violent computer games, devils misuse of sports & music)
9) He now can nsert his new
reading programs so now kids naturally love reading again because of the
wizardry and magic! The good is now called evil and the evil is now called
good!
Schools have gone from The Pilgrim's
Progress to Harry Potter - (on the path to the pot - out of
the God's house & down the path to the Devils outhouse) and people
wonder why the schools are so dangerous and corrupted! Today, the
Devil has taken possession of this nation's children and when these kids
grow up, they will think everything is fine - except for those "KJV BIBLE
BELIEVERS, of course!
I was there for 25 years, folks
- I saw it happen!
Note: A website reader said that few
years ago, he had heard a speech by noted educator Samuel Blumenfeld
where he gave the quotes and references that this was their GOAL when they
FIRST began implementing PUBLIC education ideas well over 100 years ago.
It's not our "interpretation", or even the obvious observation 100 years
later - THEY ADMITTED IT THEMSELVES way back then.
II Corinthians 11:3
But I fear, lest by any means,
as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty,
so your minds should be corrupted
from the simplicity that is in Christ.
Galatians 1:6,7
I marvel that ye are so soon
removed from him that called you
into the grace of Christ
unto another gospel:
Which is not another; but
there be some that trouble you,
and would pervert the gospel
of Christ.
So, how does this happen with Christians, though?
We are the ones supposedly with the stable soul, amen? Psalm
119:165, we are to have Great peace
have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.
Colossians 2:6-15 As
ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: 7:
Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have
been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8:
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after
the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9: For in him dwelleth all the
fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10:
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
11: In
whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands,
in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of
Christ: 12:
Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through
the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13:
And you, being dead in your sins and the
uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having
forgiven you all trespasses; 14: Blotting
out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary
to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15: And having spoiled principalities and
powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.
We are not suppose to be the trickable ones!
We ARE secure!
We Should Know Better!
Colossians 2:4 And
this I say, lest any man should beguile you with enticing words.
Depending on whose words you listen
to / read, etc. you can still be beguiled, eh?
I Timothy 4:1

Will you depart from the faith,
some day?

Have you departed from the faith,
already?
Are you playing the Christian
game; miserable on the inside & smiles on the outside?
Did you you know, but sometimes
it even shows on the outside?
You have been had!
Are you trying to imitate something
instead of simply following?
Children, just follow your parents!
Wife, just follow your husband!
Husband, just follow the Book!
But you gotta read it to know
what & how to follow
or else you will follow the
wrong 'spirit'!
You will be seduced by the devil!
Without even realizing it, you
will want to Be Like the Most High!
...and be worse than you were
ever before!
II Peter 2:9-22
9: The Lord knoweth how to
deliver the godly out of temptations,
and to reserve the unjust
unto the day of judgment to be punished:
10: But chiefly them that
walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government.
Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of
dignities.
11: Whereas angels, which
are greater in power and might,
bring not railing accusation
against them before the Lord.
12: But these, as natural
brute beasts, made to be taken and destroyed,
speak evil of the things
that they understand not;
and shall utterly perish
in their own corruption;
13: And shall receive the
reward of unrighteousness,
as they that count it pleasure
to riot in the day time.
Spots they are and blemishes,
sporting themselves with their own deceivings
while they feast with you;
14: Having eyes full of adultery,
and that cannot cease from sin;
beguiling unstable souls:
an heart they have exercised with covetous practices;
cursed children:
15: Which have forsaken the
right way, and are gone astray,
following the way of Balaam
the son of Bosor,
who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
16: But was rebuked for his
iniquity:
the dumb ass speaking with
man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
17: These are wells without
water, clouds that are carried with a tempest;
to whom the mist of darkness
is reserved for ever.
18: For when they speak great
swelling words of vanity,
they allure through the lusts
of the flesh, through much wantonness,
those that were clean escaped
from them who live in error.
19: While they promise them
liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption:
for of whom a man is overcome,
of the same is he brought in bondage.
20: For if after they have
escaped the pollutions of the world
through the knowledge of
the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ,
they are again entangled
therein, and overcome,
the latter end is worse with
them than the beginning.
21: For it had been better
for them not to have known the way of righteousness,
than, after they have known
it,
to turn from the holy commandment
delivered unto them.
22: But it is happened unto
them according to the true proverb,
The dog is turned to his
own vomit again;
and the sow that was washed
to her wallowing in the mire.
