Paul's warnings are not to shame, but truly to warn!
I Corinthians 4:14-17 - I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you. For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me. For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.

• II Corinthians 2:11 - Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
• Antichrist is busy as always in preparation for his arrival!
• Revelation 16:14 - For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
• II Thessalonians 2:3,4 - Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.
• II Thessalonians 2:7,8 - For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
• I wonder if 'going to Paul" meant that the Lord put the devil on hold?
•  how about the coming of the KJB in 1611...

• II Corinthians 6:14 - Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
• Remember, we must work with the lost, but we don't need to pal around them!

• God judges them that are without.
• It is the brethren that cause the problems.
• "wicked person?"  - Wow, that's rough.
• But we also have to remember that 'trashing' the brethren gives a bad testimony to the lost, too!
• Romans 2:16 - In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
• Romans 14:10 - But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
• But we MUST still remember II Thessalonians 3:6-16
• Understand and look to Paul in their walk., as our brethren, as we separate, we are still not to consider them our enemy!

• II Thessalonians 3:6 - Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
• II Thessalonians 3:8,9 - Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you: Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.
• II Thessalonians 3:14,15 - And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
• The lost!
• II Thessalonians 3:1,2 -  Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you: And that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men: for all men have not faith.
• many of these 'warnings' from Paul involve 'lost people' who think they are saved!
• trick of the devil to get folks to think they are saved!
• drag us down
• lift us up pridefully
• lead us to the power and purpose of their music
• feed our flesh and happiness - and fun entertainment!
• lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God

• Ephesians 5:6-8 - Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience. Be not ye therefore partakers with them. For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
• enticing words of man's wisdom
• I Corinthians 2:4,5 - And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

• I Corinthians 1:17 -  For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
• Those who preach profane and vain babblings!
• II Timothy 2:16,17 - But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
• They overthrow the faith of some.
• II Timothy 2:17 - And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus; Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

• I Timothy 6:20,21 - O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: Which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with thee. Amen.

• Titus 1:14 - Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.
• Philosophy & vain deceit
• Colossians 2:8 - Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

• I Timothy 4:7 -  But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness.

• II Timothy 3:1-5 - This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
• II Timothy 3:6,7 - For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

• II Timothy 2:4 - No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
• Politics, global warming, health, economy, education, community affairs, etc.

• Doctrines of devils
• I Timothy 4:1 - Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
• Ephesians 6:12 - For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

• II Timothy 2:24-26 - And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

• Who are these people, again?
• deceiving and deceived evil workers
• those that say peace and safety
• waste our time
• withstand Paul's words
• teachers of the law
• evil workers who work up the flesh
• pastors who seek their own
• teach their people to trust in lying words
• they speak vain words of vanity
• they speak with enticing words of man's wisdom
• they speak commandments of men
• they walk disorderly against Paul
• those 'sneaky word magicians' who catch those who can't settle down doctrinally!
• speak with philosophy and vain deceit
• teach profane and vain babblings
• the women who are turned aside after Satan
• ministers of righteousness
• those that seek out our liberty to put us into bondage
• teachers of the law
• our unequally yoked friends
• including the lost
• fleshly warfare soldiers
• caught up in the affairs of this life
• the devil and his devices
• seducing spirits and doctrines of devils
• they attract you with their false form of godliness lifestyle
• ourselves and 'our own conceit' and pride!
• causes contention, etc.

• Philippians 4:9 - Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
• Romans 2:16 - In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
• Ephesians 4:14 - That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
