Paul's warnings are not to shame, but truly to warn!
I Corinthians 4:14-17 - I write not these things to shame you, but as my beloved sons I warn you. For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me. For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.

• I Timothy 6:4-5 - He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
• Who is HE?
• I Timothy 6:3 - If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
• II Timothy 3:8,9 - Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be manifest unto all men, as theirs also was.
• folly is being made manifest more and more these days
• we are beginning to see the folly these educators, pastors and authors are doing within Christianity.
• i.e. Power of prayer with no results!
• people are quitting or being discouraged - confused, etc.
• i.e. - Greek study trying to figure out the 'original' scriptures now up to about 500 bibles and still confusion - they eventually quit!
• i.e. Divorcing and leaving Bible behind!
• i.e. Real peace in the home?
• teens leaving all over the country!
• I.e. More and more books like God's Problem - by Bart Ehrman
• even an experience and 'qualified' pastor writing a book about how he "gave up being a Christian" and wrote about believing the Bible is not true.
• "If there is an all-powerful and loving God, why do human beings suffer?"
• Author of Misquoting Jesus
• His greek studies did that to him!
• He has a long list of educated credentials.
• Pastored Presbyterian and then American Baptist churches
• "I no longer go to church; no longer believe; no longer consider myself a Christian"
• "Bible is a very human book with all the marks of having human hands: discrepancies, contradictions, errors, and different perspectives of different authors living at different times in different countries and writing for different reasons to different audiences with different needs."
• "I don't 'know' if there is a God; but I think that if there is one, he certainly isn't the one proclaimed by the Judeo-Christian tradition to be the one who is actively and powerfully involved in this world.
• Well duh!  Did they not teach him in Bible College that the devil is the god of this world?  II Corinthians 4:4
• For now, anyway...
• Revelation 11:15 - And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
• Revelation 21:4 - And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
• Of course, he missed KJB!
• Of course, he missed Rightly Dividing!
• Of course, his education robbed him of his Bible!
• Of course, he tried to rely on 'his' faith, not HIS faith!
• Of course, he never did TRUST!
• That is all because he never heard the word of truth, thus he believed in the wrong Jesus, etc. and because of his teachers of corrupt minds, the results are obvious - their folly shall be manifest unto all men...
• 'Christians" are becoming more and more aware of the problems!
• But their solutions are still wrong - and so wrong - they head to Jesus but are lead to the Antichrist!
• Here is another common yet false series of teachings
• At the end of a good book exposing Islam - Islam Unveiled pg 57
• Jesus our example - must we 'be like Him?"
• Are to 'imitate' Him?  How about following Paul and imitating no-one!
• By His words, Jesus set the perfect example.
• By His life, Jesus was the perfect example.
• By His power, Jesus enables us to follow his example!
• He changes our hearts so that we love doing good!
• WRONG!
• Which 'life' of Jesus are we to follow?
• Gospel on earth to Jews?
• He lived FOR us!
• Risen Christ to Paul?
• He will impute it to us today!
• I Corinthians 4:10,11 - Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body. For we which live are alway delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.
• pg 56 - he didn't lower himself!
• The book says that is based on KJB, but that isn't KJB!
• Philippians 2:8 - And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

• Galatians 2:3-6 - But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised: And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage: To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you. But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person:) for they who seemed to be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:
• Paul exhorted and convinced and stopped the mouths of the gainsayers!
• Galatians 3:7-9 - But contrariwise, when they saw that the gospel of the uncircumcision was committed unto me, as the gospel of the circumcision was unto Peter; (For he that wrought effectually in Peter to the apostleship of the circumcision, the same was mighty in me toward the Gentiles:) And when James, Cephas, and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go unto the heathen, and they unto the circumcision.
• We are told to do the same!
• Titus 1:9-11 - Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers. For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision: Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre's sake.
