But
God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth
all things, yea, the deep things of God.
I Corinthians 2:10
The Great Commission preacher guilt and pressure tactic is using
the 'supposed' need to learn the 'deep things of God!'
-
Luke 5:4 -
Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the
deep, and let down your nets for a draught.
-
Luke 6:48 -
He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation
on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that
house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.
-
However, in order for the 'normal' people to learn the deep things of God,
they would need the pastors / evangelists / teachers / professors, etc.
with their ability to go deep for them.
-
Greek / Hebrew
-
Originals
-
Misc. studies, etc.
-
All the modern bibles studied together coming to their own conclusions
-
College / Institute pizzazz
-
Pastoral final authority
-
The Know-it-alls!
However, those revelations, (I Corinthians 2:9-16)
etc. ended with the coming of the King James Bible.
So, there is nothing 'deep' anymore!
-
Colossians 1:9 - For
this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for
you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will
in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
-
II Timothy 2:7 -
Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.
-
Ephesians 1:18a - The
eyes of your understanding being enlightened;...
-
II Corinthians 1:12 - For
our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity
and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God,
we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.
-
II Corinthians 11:3 -
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his
subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is
in Christ.
Some folks miss that going deep stuff!
-
They have to go somewhere else to 'go deep.'
-
Gap Theory
-
Geocentricity
-
Contradiction hunts
-
Word correction parties
-
wrongly dividing 'attempts' at explanations coming to their own personal
conclusions
-
manipulating people for gain proving godliness
-
guilt producing preaching
-
going so deep, the folks don't understand, so they just follow the person!
-
good words, fair speeches deceiving the simple
-
vain words
-
enticing words of man's wisdom, etc.
-
They will miss the results of going 'deep' for people!
-
self glory - personal pride - supposing that gain is godliness, etc.!
-
money!
-
fame!
-
prestige!
-
love!
-
kindness!
-
respect!
-
etc.
But they also can now learn, with us, what the Risen Christ wants us
to learn - nothing "deep" anymore - it's in the Book
-
It is all available from rightly dividing and Paul!
-
Galatians 1:11-16 - But
I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not
after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but
by the revelation of Jesus Christ. For ye have heard of my conversation
in time past in the Jews' religion, how that beyond measure I persecuted
the church of God, and wasted it: And profited in the Jews' religion above
many my equals in mine own nation, being more exceedingly zealous of the
traditions of my fathers. But when it pleased God, who separated me from
my mother's womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me,
that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred
not with flesh and blood:
-
Ephesians 3:1-12
-
and ANYBODY can learn these "deep things of God" because the Spirit has
revealed them to us through a rightly divided King James Bible!
-
I Corinthians 14:20 -
Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children,
but in understanding be men.
-
Ephesians 4:14 -
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried
about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness,
whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
-
I Corinthians 16:13 -
Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong.
There no longer has to be thorns in the flesh
to keep those in the know from being too much in the know!
-
II Corinthians 12:7 - And
lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations,
there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet
me, lest I should be exalted above measure.
-
There are those who take what they think & claim God has 'given' them
by direct revelation and in their heart, etc. - they strive for being exalted,
etc.
-
They are those that seem to be somewhat...
-
Galatians 2:6 -
But of these who seemed to be somewhat, (whatsoever they were, it maketh
no matter to me: God accepteth no man's person:) for they who seemed to
be somewhat in conference added nothing to me:
These are what some would call
the "Deep Things of God"
that we can understand today!
1. The Living God
-
I Timothy 4:10 -
For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the
living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
-
I Timothy 6:17 -
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor
trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly
all things to enjoy;
-
versus the Unknown God!
-
Acts 17:16-30
-
To whom do these folks pray? ...worship this music today, etc.?
...think they are 'hearing from?' received those 'revealed' 'new'
teachings of today?
-
Another Jesus? Another Spirit? Another gospel?
-
Who are the ministers for the teachings of 'righteousness' today?
-
II Corinthians 11:1-4
-
II Corinthians 11:13-15 -
For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves
into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed
into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers
also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall
be according to their works.
2. Goodness of God
-
Romans 11:22 - Behold
therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity;
but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise
thou also shalt be cut off.
-
Titus 3:4 - But
after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
-
Romans 2:4 - Or
despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering;
not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?
-
II Thessalonians 1:11 -
Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy
of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and
the work of faith with power:
Part II - Sunday pm service
notes:
3. Godliness
-
I Timothy 2:2 - For
kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and
peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
-
I Timothy 3:16 - And
without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest
in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the
Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
-
I Timothy 2:9-10 -
In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with
shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls,
or costly array; But (which becometh women professing godliness) with good
works.
-
I Timothy 4:7,8 - But
refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto
godliness. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable
unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which
is to come.
-
I Timothy 6:3-6 -
If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the
words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according
to godliness; ... supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw
thyself. But godliness with contentment is great gain.
-
II Timothy 3:5 - Having
a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
4. Love of God
-
John 3:16 - For
God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever
believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
-
Ah, but there is more - the way of God more perfectly...
-
Ephesians 3:14-19a
-
II Thessalonians 2:16,17
- Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath
loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through
grace, Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
-
II Thessalonians 3:5 -
And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient
waiting for Christ.
-
Titus 3:4-7 -
But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his
mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the
Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;
That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to
the hope of eternal life.
-
Romans 5:5-9 -
And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in
our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. For when we were yet
without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely
for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some
would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that,
while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now
justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
-
Romans 8:38 -
For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities,
nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth,
nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
5. Judgment
-
For the saved:
-
Romans 14:10 - But
why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother?
for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
-
II Corinthians 5:10 - For
we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may
receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether
it be good or bad.
-
I Corinthians 3:10-15
-
For the lost:
-
Personal?
-
I Corinthians 11:28,31
-
In your personal examination and self judgment, you won't find any sin;
only good or bad works for our judgment seat!
-
Lacking in faith
-
I Thessalonians 3:10 - Night
and day praying exceedingly that we might see your face, and might perfect
that which is lacking in your faith?
-
Ephesians 4:15 -
But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which
is the head, even Christ:
-
Ephesians 2:21 -
In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple
in the Lord:
-
Philippians 1:5-11
-
Romans 2:1-6 -
Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest:
for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that
judgest doest the same things. But we are sure that the judgment of God
is according to truth against them which commit such things. And thinkest
thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the
same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? Or despisest thou the
riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that
the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? But after thy hardness
and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of
wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render
to every man according to his deeds:
-
But not to judge someone else!
-
Romans 10:10-14 -
But
why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother?
for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written,
As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue
shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself
to God. Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this
rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his
brother's way. I know, and am persuaded by the Lord Jesus, that there is
nothing unclean of itself: but to him that esteemeth any thing to be unclean,
to him it is unclean.
-
But if you need to, then avoid, withdraw from, have
no company with, mark then, cast off, have no fellowship, neither give
heed, reject, note them, etc.
6. Forgiveness
-
Not Matthew 6:14,15 - For
if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive
you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father
forgive your trespasses.
-
That was the teachings / sayings of the earthly Jesus
towards to the Jews - NOT the Gentiles!
-
According to the Risen Saviour through Paul
-
Ephesians 1:7 -
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins,
according to the riches of his grace;
-
Acts 26:18 - To
open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the
power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and
inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
-
Colossians 1:14 - In
whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
-
Colossians 2:13 -
And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh,
hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
-
Towards others according to the Risen Saviour through Paul to us today:
-
Ephesians 4:32 - And
be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as
God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
-
Colossians 3:13 -
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel
against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
8. Sin
-
These are just a few thoughts and verses on sin and what Christ did for
us concerning 'sin.'
-
Read, study and learn - then meditate over and over in Romans
5-8
-
Issue is 'sin' vs 'sinning'
-
Reckon yourselves dead to sin - Romans 6:11 -
Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead
indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
-
Made freed from sin - Romans 6:22 -
But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your
fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
-
Romans 4:15 -
Because the law worketh wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression.
9. Law
-
We are not under the law as a believer!
-
Romans 10:4 -
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
-
Romans 6:14 - For
sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but
under grace.
-
I Corinthians 6:12 -
All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things
are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
-
etc. and so much more available for us to know...
10. Personal Battles
-
not psychology, etc.
-
old nature, etc.
-
Romans 7:15-23 - Paul had the same
battles!
11. Mysteries?
12. Tribulation Info & clues today

We can read what Revelation says in the four different accounts of the
Tribulation
-
We can read in II Thessalonians what Paul says in detail.
-
We can ALSO read Hebrews through Jude - they are tribulational doctrine
TO the people during the Tribulation - NOT TO US TODAY!
-
The rest is sealed, according to Daniel 12.
-
No books from any author is going to show us anything new other than what
is already in the KJB!
13. The Church
-
Acts 2:41-47?
-
No - that was the church during the Great Commission time!
-
Ephesians 4,5
-
Yes - today - from the Risen Saviour through Paul to us!
-
When did the 'church' begin?
-
It is a big issue among Paul followers - the gracers,
etc.
-
Not an important issue at all today!
-
Acts 2? Acts
9? Acts 13?
Acts 18? Acts
28? With Paul? With Peter? With
John? With Moses?
-
Read Galatians 1:13 - For
ye have heard of my conversation in time past in the Jews' religion, how
that beyond measure I persecuted the church of God, and wasted it:
-
The 'church of God' existed before Paul!
-
See Matthew 16:13-18
- the church began with believing that
Jesus was the Christ - the Son of the living God!
14. Rightly Dividing

Ezekiel 28 - His beginnings
-
another Jesus; another spirit; another gospel
-
ministers of righteousness belong to Satan
-
much much more available to learn about him in the Scriptures
-
I Thessalonians 2:17,18 - He can hinder
Paul to this day

The
entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO
us!
We
learn from the "For" and we try to apply the 'TO!"
