Family Life Beyond the Crucifixion

Sermon Series on Putting Paul's Gospel Into Our Family Design

First comes crucifying our flesh / world...
Galatians 5:24 - And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
Galatians 6:14 - But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

...then we can rise & live our family life with Him as designed by Him which was then presented to and patterned by Paul.
I Timothy 1:16 - Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.
Colossians 3:1 - f ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Do we know how to 'love' our children without 'glorifying' them?
Our glorifying our children sets them up for the flatteries of the antichrist in Revelation 6.
Flattery lifts YOU up!
Truth today is NOT suppose to be about them - it is about Jesus Christ - the real one!
Proverbs 20:19b - ...therefore meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips.
Job 17:5 - He that speaketh flattery to his friends, even the eyes of his children shall fail.
Parental flattery blinds their children to the real truth.
Today's children are being set up for the Purpose Driven world peace concept of glorify the person...
...and then all that follows - Revelation 6 - the antichrist and his conquering army!

And then you have the parents who constantly 'love' their children by beating them down - making them feel totally worthless other than to be a slave in obedience to their dad's iron rod.

Yes, most children that I have seen in Bible Believing churches are being 'pushed' towards the self gratification of the antichrist plan - and it appears to be closer and closer and more and more obvious - well, to some, anyway, thanks to the King James Bible Rightly Divided following Paul's gospel.

Which brings us to tonight's sermon:

We are to be MORE Than Conquerors
Are we suppose to be a conquering Christianity today?

We heard about Rick Warren of Purpose Driven Christianity in his interview with Larry King.

Misc. ridiculous comments
how he privately interprets Scriptures
Turns to Greek
wants to be like Jesus - but which one...?
America is having a spiritual renewal -a new interest in God - a second reaffirmation... a what?
announced his world peace plan - P E A C E Plant churches; equip the leaders; assist the poor; care for the sick; educate the next generation. In 67 countries - going public in 2006.
his salvation plan is to tell folks to make a commitment to cHrist - open their life up to his love, etc.
Rick Warren is preaching a message that will bring folks right up to Revelation 6.
Rick Warren says that Christian Fundamentalists are as dangerous as Muslim and secular fundamentalists. Well, some of the Christians are just as dangerous, but only spiritually as they preach a "fear God or else" message.

Is your church preaching the same conquering message?

We read some doctrinal statements from a typical Great Commission Baptist church - and saw the conquering / dominion concept in their writings.

From many of the Great Commission Baptist churches, we see words like:
restorer
build and expand his church
Zion restored
The church as the beacon
The church as a refuge for the lost
A testimony to the rule and reign of King Jesus
Dominion
Church to take dominion
Build the kingdom of God
perpetuity of His churches, etc.
how can we fail when edified and continually filled with...?

We are to be MORE than conquerors!
Romans 8:37: Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

Victory today is over death, NOT over sin.
I Corinthians 15:54-57

Sin still exists!

But...

We have been made FREE from sin by Christ taking care of the law.

Christ delivered us from the Law - but sin still exists in us!
With no law, sin is not imputed.

We then read Romans 5:12-8.

You will see it all in the Scriptures when you read it slowly and out loud. Marvelous stuff!

Note: Anything less is the gospel that the antichrist will preach - and it is the false gospel that is being preached in our churches. Sad to say, but even in more and more of our Bible Believing churches as well.
