Introduction

Here we have the beginning of another short series - this time is it on 'How to Love the Brethren.'

This is a general outline of verses that we looked at in the audio sermon.

It isn't going to be a baptistically normal sermon series on loving the brethren!

Loving the brethren is more important than most realize today!

With all that we have learned about learning the walk to please God, we still have to remember it isn't about being 'made' to walk holy, etc. It is all a choice that we make. Do we choose to follow the flesh or the Spirit? It is our choice.

We are made free!
He did it all - and gave it all to us - all by our faith in Him!

Still, we usually don't want to do right, we won't do right nor do we even try that hard to do right...

Love One Another

It seems that there aren't really that many honest Bible believing rightly dividing 'truly' saved Christians / brethren for us to love anymore.

The world is full of:

Evil Affecting brethren
Feebleminded whiners
High mindedness
Fleshy puffed up minds
Blinded minds
Otherwise minded - and still in bondage to the Great Commission and world, etc.
Treated brethren like enemies
Selfish desires of mind as well as with flesh
Reprobate minds
Corrupt minds
Carnal minds

Kids included in attack:

color books
education with evolution everywhere
ozone depletion
global warming

Where are the Bible Believing Christians with

Willing minds
Forward minds
Readiness of mind
Humility of the mind
Renewed minds
Fully persuaded minds
Fervent minds
Understanding minds
Minds not soon shaken
Sound minds
Sober minds
Mindfulness of others
Minds that strive together

How do we strive together?
How do we love each other?

Interesting Observations about Rightly Dividing
'Loving the Brethren'

nothing except not loving anyone more than Jesus Christ - Luke 14:26

It affected their salvation!

We can not claim those verses to us today. This is all tribulation application!

This is TO us today!

But... It Is Even More
There is a real serious reason to love the brethren today.
Not as serious as the Tribulation, but close...
