The flowers appear on the earth; the time
of the singing of birds is come,
and the voice of the turtle is heard in
our land

Since we have heard about how the Raven helped Elijah,
we are now going to see what we can learn from birds.
While this series appears to be geared towards getting
our little children involved,
there will be plenty for us adults to learn from these
birds, too.

I. Kids with their bird facts!
II. Story of Momma Wood Duck - another mother
with tough love!

2-3 days before hatching, momma duck talks to her eggs. Studies have
proven that the little duckies that were talked to obey and follow momma
better than those who did not have momma duck talk to them while still
in their egg.
-
Momma duck gives all the little duckies their opportunity to jump out of
the nest when their time comes, but if they don't, she leaves them to die
- as she takes care of the ones who follow her.

The old gospel teaching of leaving the 99 to save the one is not a Scriptural
teaching today through Paul. Too many have been starved from their
churches while they try to protect / save someone who is stubborn to give
in and follow Christ by following Paul!

That is tough love!

I Corinthians 5:5 - To
deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the
spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.

I Timothy 1:20 - Of
whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that
they may learn not to blaspheme.
III. Wisdom from Solomon and his birds!

Proverbs 26:2 - As
the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless
shall not come.

Man's curses are as a wandering bird, etc.

The only curses that truly work are God's - and His reason will be a legitimate
one!

1:8,9 to those who preach a false gospel!

these folks would still be unsaved - and under the law according to their
teachings - thus still cursed - dead in sin!
