Paul
/ KJB / and the Risen Saviour -
Better Than the Lord's Supper -
We are always
questioned about why we don't do the Lord's Supper / Communion here.
Tell them the quick answer: "Yes, we do - but we do it privately
as we commune with God through our reading of the KJB and praying without
ceasing. God is NOT in the building =- He is in us" -
Acts 17:24,25.
Now,
below are details if you want to see how this is stated within the Holy
Scriptures!

initial description
of eating the bread and blood
John 6:48-58
This is an hard
saying...
John 6:60-62
- Many therefore of his disciples, when
they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? When
Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them,
Doth this offend you? What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up
where he was before?
The explanation:
John 6:63 -
It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words
that I speak unto you they are spirit, and they are life.
II. Used as
an illustration
I Corinthians
10:16,17 - The cup of blessing which we
bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which
we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ? For we being many
are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.

III. Purpose
then? To shew the Lord's death till he come! / to help remember
his life and death
I Corinthians
11:23-26 -
For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That
the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:
And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is
my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After
the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This
cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it,
in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink
this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
IV. Is
there a purpose today?
Is it to be a
Ritual?
Is it Tradition?
Is it really an
Ordinance?
Must it be a Requirement?
for salvation?
for confession
of sins?
for receiving
Holy Spirit?
for church membership?
for body of Christ
membership?
closed - open?
Requirements to
participate? age? knowledge? confirmation graduate?
single loaf of
bread - pieces - if pieces, who breaks the bread - hands clean?
shot glasses -
cups - glasses?
denominational
differences in design?
how oft is oft?
weekly, monthly,
yearly?
what confusion,
eh?
I Corinthians
14:33 - For God is not the author of confusion,
but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
Till he comes?
He has come - spiritually!
Has he not come
spiritually to us and in us - are we not in a spiritual kingdom at this
time? Yes! Romans 14:17
He HAS come spiritually
in that KJB - I Corinthians 13:10.
So, we no
longer need to do the 'supper' - 'communion' - 'Lord's supper.'
just like speaking
in tongues in chapter 14; laying on of hands, baptizing
We have even more
to know and remember than they ever did!
and that is from
the King James Bible today!
The KJB is our
spiritual 'communion' with God
So this warning
is to them during Paul's day and early in his ministry with Jews still
around; the warning is not to us today!
Warning:
27-34 -
Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord,
unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let
a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that
cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation
to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak
and sickly among you, and many sleep. For if we would judge ourselves,
we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the
Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. Wherefore, my brethren,
when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another. And if any man hunger,
let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the
rest will I set in order when I come.

Did Christ
Die so we could...?
Did Christ die
like He did so we can live the kind of life we are living right now - and
yet still go to heaven?
Did Christ die
like He did so we can have the things we have - and yet still go to heaven?
Did Christ die
like He did so we can dress the way we dress - show the skin that we show
- go to the places we go - talk the way we talk (with discretion or not)
- act the way we do (soberly or not) - party the way we party (riotous
or not) - so we can eat and drink and rise up to play the modern American
way - - and yet - still go to heaven when we die?
Did Christ die
like He did so we can raise our children to be spoiled disobedient children
who will probably turn away from His resurrection let alone learn anything
about their own eternal life - by our example, of course! After all,
we don't really know how to train them, so why try - they only get
in our way!!! ... and yet just so we can still go to heaven?
Let's
go on and "remember" more His death!
Remember
- according to the KJB and Paul!
NOT just the Gospels,
although they are still important to know about!
NOT just
Isaiah 53, although that is still important
to know about!
NOT just applying
Psalm 109 as Christ's thoughts towards
Satan and the wicked while he was being crucified, although that is still
important!
NOT just applying
Psalm
22, showing His great distress while in
the garden knowing what was coming, although that is still important!
Paul
says to Timothy:
The Risen Christ
abolished death - brought life and immortality to light through the gospel
- and that gospel today must be Paul's!
II Timothy
1:8-11 with emphasis on
verse 10 - But is now made manifest by
the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and
hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.
And that gospel
is Paul's! "My gospel..."
Romans 2:16
- In the day when God shall judge the secrets
of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.
Romans 16:25
- Now to him that is of power to stablish
you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according
to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world
began,
II Timothy
2:8 - Remember that Jesus Christ of the
seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:
I Corinthians
4:17 - For this cause have I sent unto
you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall
bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every
where in every church.
Today,
Paul & the KJB Guides Us in Detail About Christ's Death!
Reconciled
to God
Romans 5:8-11
especially verses
10,11 - For
if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of
his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his
life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our
Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
We only remember
about the details of his death through Paul!
Grace and Righteousness
Reign in our life!
Romans 5:17-21
especially
verse 17 - For if by one man's offence
death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace
and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus
Christ.)
especially
verse 21-
That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through
righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
We only remember
about the details of his death through Paul!
Walk in newness
of life - in the likeness of his resurrection!
Romans 6:3-5
-Know ye not, that so many of us as were
baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore
we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was
raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also
should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together
in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness
of his resurrection:
We only remember
about the details of his death through Paul!
Death hath
no dominion over us!
Romans 6:9-11
-
Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath
no more dominion over him. For in that he died, he died unto sin once:
but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. Likewise
reckon ye also
yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through
Jesus Christ our Lord.
We only remember
about the details of his death through Paul!
Free from the
law of sin and death!
Romans 8:2
- For the law of the Spirit of life
in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Quickened
Ephesians 2:1
- And you hath he quickened, who
were dead in trespasses and sins;
Ephesians 2:5
- Even when we were dead in sins,
hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
Colossians
2:13 - And you, being dead in your sins
and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together
with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
We only remember
about the details of his death through Paul!
Free from the
law!
Romans 10:4
-
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one
that believeth.
Only in Romans?No!
I Corinthians
15:21,22 - For
since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
Philippians
2:8 -
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became
obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
Colossians
1:22 - In the body of his flesh through
death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his
sight:
Ephesians 1:4
- According as he hath chosen us
in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and
without blame before him in love:
Colossians
1:13,14 - Who hath delivered us from
the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of
his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood,
even the forgiveness of sins:
And if he hadn't
died, we would not have the New Testament that we have!
Hebrews 9:16,17
- For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of
the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise
it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.
His
death is truly something to remember! And we
don't need 'communion' to do so! The
