How Do They Answer
These?
|
Part I -
Acts
Of course we believe that II
Timothy 3:16 means the entire King James Bible -
from Genesis to Revelation,
-
...but not including the Apocrypha,
the page headings, the notes in margins, the color of the supposed words
of Jesus, the concordance, maps, Bible history, footnotes, etc.
-
We are a text only church family - the
old cambridge plates - and challenge folks to read ALL the Bible, etc.
-
All scripture
is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof,
for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
-
Romans 15:4
- For whatsoever things were written aforetime
were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of
the scriptures might have hope.
We believe that rightly
dividing the King James Bible,
-
Rightly dividing "The word of truth,"
"the gospel of our salvation," the King James 1611 Bible will suddenly
and simply eliminate confusion and private interpretation.
-
We see that all the Bible is written
FOR
us, but not ALL the Bible is written TO us. We can not apply
the entire Bible to our active walk today.
-
What Paul has written is directed to
us as Gentiles as God has put his own people aside for now, until the 'rapture'
or what the Scripture calls when the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
-
After that takes place, God will again
go to his people, the Jews, and will instigate Jacob's trouble, or what
is called the Great Tribulation.
-
II Timothy
2:15,16 - Study to shew thyself
approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing
the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase
unto more ungodliness.
We believe that we
should follow Paul as our only apostle and that his writings are TO
us as Gentiles and were spoken to him face to face with the risen Saviour.
-
I Corinthians
11:1 - Be ye followers of me, even as I
also am of Christ.
-
Philippians
4:9 - Those things, which ye have both
learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace
shall be with you.
-
Romans 16:25
- Now to him that is of power to stablish
you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according
to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world
began,
We believe the Bible
is divided dispensationally in the following manner:
-
Not by verses
according to what College and Institute you attend!
-
Only by books
that begin with the word PAUL compared to the others that do not!
-
Genesis to
Malachi - Old Testament - the law for Jews and conscience for
Gentiles
-
Gospels
- Old Testament until the death of Christ
-
Acts 1-8 -
the Great Commission - the Apostles going into all the world with Jesus'
teachings from the Gospels!
-
Acts 9-28
- transition to the Dispensation of Grace with Paul
-
Romans to
Philemon - Paul's writings to the Gentiles, although at first,
he still did try to reach the Jews with the gospel of grace and 'the mystery'
that was revealed to him only by Christ himself - the only apostle that
we are to follow today.
-
Corinthians
also clears up from the kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God differences
by understanding that that which is perfect is come - the King James Bible,
thus we see some transition within the books of Corinthians.
-
Hebrews to
Jude - writings TO the Jews during the Tribulation
-
Revelation-
past history, a little on the present times and a lot on future prophecy.
We believe the law has been fulfilled by Christ but that the jots
and tittles haven't changed - only that the law is still to a lost person
while to a believer all things are lawful but not all things are expedient!
There is a judgment seat of Christ coming to judge the works of the believer,
not the believe him/herself while the lost are headed to the white throne
judgment and will spend eternity in a lake of fire.
We believe
that the risen Christ, through Paul, teaches us that the law has been fulfilled
by Christ himself -
-
and yet, not one
jot or tittle has been changed.
-
The law is not
voided - it is still alive and doing well.
-
It is there to
show a lost person is in need of a Saviour! However, to a believer
/ Christian, Christ has taken care of the law. The Christian has a judgment
seat of Christ coming - for his works to be judged.
-
Sin was never
imputed again after one's own salvation.
-
The lost have
the white throne judgment coming, where they will be judged based on sin
and their rejection of Jesus Christ - and they will spend all of eternity
in the lake of fire.
-
Romans 10:4
- For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that
believeth.
-
I Corinthians
10:23 - All things are lawful for me, but
all things are not expedient:...
-
I Timothy 1:8
- But we know that the law is good, if
a man use it lawfully...
-
Galatians 3:24,25
- Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster
to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after
that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
So after a few of
our basics i have been reviewed,
-
how would the 'foolish, lost, gain
seeking, Bible perverting, unlearned, deceived, blind, Great Commission
earthly Jesus followers, all denominations & cults including the many
flavours of baptists and people following people 'Christians' answer
the following verses:
Acts
9:15 -
to Ananias
13:44-47
-
too obvious, eh! 'we turn to the Gentiles!'
13:49 -
the Gentiles were glad in those days, not mad about the "Paul stuff."
17:1-4 -
This Jesus is Christ!
17:11-13
-
they searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so!
Don't just get mad, check it out!
17:16 -
Paul
was stirred - do you ever get stirred?
18:9-13
- Paul preached worship contrary to the
law! Of course! Haven't you read Acts 17:24,25 - just before
this chapter, in fact. We should know that today!!!!
19:1-12
- no
baptism example here. If there is, then don't forget to do all the
other things, as well, including the holy handkerchief!
19:24-29
- 1) Do we despise and destroy any
of our past religious folly? 2) why do most folks today have the same reaction
20:17-27
- Paul's ministry was to testify the gospel
of the grace of God! 2) Paul preached the whole counsel of God!
20:28-31
- men would arise from our selves - speak
perverse things - to draw away disciples after them! Do you know
anybody like that in your group?
23:9 - fighting
against Paul, against a KJB rightly divided is fighting against God, not
me, etc.
23:10-15
- Are you part of a conspiracy against
KJB only? against Paul? , etc.
23:20 -
do
you inquire of Paul more perfectly? - do you just want to prove him wrong
and hurt those who do?
24:14,15
- do you actually believe the WRITTEN
Scriptures - the KJB? I do! That is heresy to most people these
days!
24:16 -
Paul
didn't make any efforts to offend people. Yes, they were offended,
but it wasn't his desire.
26:16-24
- How do folks deny what Jesus himself
told Paul!!!!! How can you think this is 'bad' to preach?
27:10-14;
21-25 - Lessons from the shipwreck chapter
- so applicable to us today!
28:27-31
- This is too obvious!

The
entire King James Bible is written FOR us, but it is not all written TO
us!
We
learn from the "For" and we try to apply the 'TO!"
