I Have Gone Down the Road to Paul! |
Some of you may have noticed that I have recently taken a strong liking to Paul and in what he calls, "His gospel." I have come to see that it is so different than what I thought I understood over so many years. I now realize that I was not a Bible Believer - I was a Bible Teachings Believer. God has opened up the Book to me as He has for many many others, I am sure.
I must say, though, some of the opposition I have received have been nothing but crude and rude emails from the KJB graduate crowd who appear to be trying to be like their spiritual hero! But that only saddens me because of what I think education has done to the minds of these folks who just want to learn right.
I know - apostasy must move in to the KJB churches, but that doesn't make it any easier to accept when all one has to do is throw out their brains and go back to the leading of the Holy Spirit directly from the King James Bible!
I have come to believe that more and more Bible Believing Christians
and Pastors have become:
Oblivious to the Obvious!
It's Simple
But I will tell anyone that this road is simple to see - it is all
within the King James Bible itself. Folks, this is not a deep scholarship
issue - maybe that is the problem, eh! Sometimes I think most educated
institute trained pastors and missionaries haven't gotten over their education
yet. Is it possible that maybe they just can't get the obvious because
of so much education. Do folks honestly want to see the truth - even
if it goes against their education? Pride once again rears it ugly
head!
The Moon
It must be similar to taking off for the moon and being only one degree
off here but becoming a few million miles off when they near their destination.
Have there been so many years of education that some little fluky teachings
have subtly blossomed into major errors that nobody sees because they went
one degree at a time within the Bible Believing crowd?
Philadelphian Church
While I don't say a Bible education is unnecessary these days, I do
know that early America did fine with circuit riders that could barely
read. The old Philadelphian Era must have been a great time of blessings
from God! They had LITTLE strength in those days and we see that
God sure did step in and make things happen.
I am always interested in the Philadelphian church age. While it wasn't perfect in doctrine, it was sure blessed by God. Man couldn't even shut the doors that God opened. Can you even imagine??? And there were no Bible colleges, etc and yet there were scores of people saved AND lives changed!
I have heard some preachers say that God is attracted to weakness.II Corinthians 12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
Early Acts church
Is it because we suddenly want to see our churches grow in number like
they did in Acts chapter 2 that we
are willing to forgo the obvious teachings from Paul?
Pauline Only?
Is it because some folks have gone too far with Pauline Epistles Only
that ALL of it is now discredited? That sounds like those who reject
KJBOnlyism because some liar told them that PSR 'invented' it!
How and Why?
This sermon is about how and why I have gone down this road of Pauline
Gospel vs the Gospel's Gospel in a comparison of what I call, "The Greater
Commission vs the Great Commission!"
I will probably be put in the category along with Baptist Purgatory,
No Hellers and all the Hyper folks. Well, whatever - I just do hope
you give this sermon at least one read through - and even better, listen
to the audio!
I would much rather sit at a table with a few burgers and a real chocolate malt and show folks the actual pages and verses - I get so tired of typing it all.
But like I said, it is all too simply obvious. The conclusions
that some folks have shown me in their responses to me show me that they
are not getting the gist of what I am preaching... yet!

I. This is all a result of believing the necessity of Rightly
Dividing the Word of Truth while allowing partial influence of the
past.
A. I have read a lot of baptist history, but
I didn't claim it as my final authority! History isn't all 'baptist
only!'
B. I have read much about the 'hero's' of
the faith but I don't consider them my final authority! They all
had their doctrinal problems!
C. I have even read more than one commentary
writer - surprised? And even those are not my final authority!
D. I have visited & attended many churches,
large and small all across the country. Those were great times, but
each one still has its problems & blessings!
E. I have read enough Civil War testimonies
of Christian Soldiers to inspire me and challenge me as a soldier in a
war that folks don't believe exists anymore.
F. I have read much on the martyrs of the
past. I don't want to see their sacrifice go down in vain in the
ministry God has allowe me to have! There are those who died for
this VERY BOOK! For these words! For these punctuations!
I can never forget that and I hope I never do! I have this Book because
of them!
II. I have strongly considered the teachings, the sermons,
the warnings and personal one on one conversations of...
A. Dr Modlish, Dr. Ruckman, Dr. Sam Gipp,
Dr. Doug Stauffer, Dr. Jack Hyles, Dr. Gerald Sutek, David Cloud,
Missionaries Linton Smith & Drew Stewart; and pastors Mike Collingwood,
Michael Matijevich, George Grace, Richard Jordan, Ray Keable & Thomas
Mowery along with some personal rejection of certain Bible camps and pastors
I thought were friends in the ministry.
B. I have observed their ministries over the
past many years and certainly have made some interesting observations.
C. I have recently heard about a few 'returning'
veteran missionaries and their comments about their shock and dismay at
the condition of America's churches - and how they have changed so much
since they departed for their foreign field many many years ago.
III. I have no doubt - and nobody has to believe this but me - the leading of the Holy Spirit in this direction after watching how the Lord has guided this little church in S.E. Washington in the sermons and activities. As God's gifts are unsearchable, Touchet's blessings are unexplainable other than to just give the Lord the glory!
IV. I have seen:
A. Large churches 'change' their doctrine
and methods in order to 'replace' the saved folks with 'seekers' and to
be relevant for modern folks!
B. Small churches grow bigger by also changing their doctrine and methods - all for the sake of survival and bigger attendance and bank numbers.
C. Bible Believing Families Change...
1. as they try to
be happier again - like they were before they got saved and started going
to church!
2. as they try to
be successful in earthly matters!
3. ...out of frustration
and confusion!
4. ... because they
still didn't understand the Book or the issues - (ignoring that they did
little reading and study and had off and on church attendance, etc.)
5. ... because of
not being able or even willing to try to apply what they did hear from
the preaching and from what they did read!
6. ... try to rescue
their kids who they had lost years before but only now have they now hurtfully
come to realize something has been wrong for years - and that is isn't
someone else's fault!
D. Watching the King James Bible Slide Downward
in:..
1. Respect
2. Honour
3. Holiness
4. Use
5. Trust
6. As a real Final
Authority
7. words lose out
to 'images'
E. Watching and Listening to People (in
live conversations as well as I am sure thousands over email and the website...)
1. ...starve from
lack of feeding!
2. ...scatter from
lack of feeding!
3. ...change personal
and family standards from lack of feeding!
4. ... not be able
to 'be' a true witness' let alone talk about one in their personal witness
- because of a lack of feeding!
5. ... have their
food changed from Bible emphasis to church, activity and program emphasis!
6. ...struggle to
walk a holy walk as preached in the Great Commission world and then eventually
give up!
7. ...in Great Commission
churches lose their teens to the world even after they have been homeschooled
and brought up with a KJB!
8. ...in Rightly Divided
churches that live a lousy walk and abuse their grace and thus present
a lousy testimony - and they know their Bibles well! (that is not
judging, just making an observation...)
9. ...not know how
to use their sword, but not for a lack of trying or desire!
10. ... who have forgotten
there is a spiritual war out there AND in here AND in them AND in their
family!
11. ...to folks who
have given up on their Bible as a sword, as a guide, as a comfort, etc.
12. ...who would just
love to be able to something with their Bible but are too busy to make
it happen!
13. ...who KNOW their
Bible well but still do not understand rightly dividing and so they still
live a life of bondage, misery and have no joy!
14. ... who actually
put forth a false witness - and don't even know it - and certainly can't
be told about it!
15. ... who have no
peace from their Bible but instead try to get it from their church or their
personal and prideful walk!
16. ... allow our
rich and luxurious lifestyle in America choke the word - resulting in no
fruit and no growth!
17. ... from watching
parents who truly love their family and kids - and honestly want to teach
them right and wrong, etc. - and yet are frustrated and sorrowful over
the results so far.
F. From seeing church after church TAKE
OVER the King James Bible
1. They eventually
began to only 'use' it!
2. They eventually
began to ignore it!
3. They eventually
changed it!
4. They eventually
replaced it with emphasis instead on their church, music, modern visuial
methods, and humanistic psychology and philosophy in the shortened and
sweetened sermons!
G. Seeing more and more of the new bible
per-versions!
1. What they take
out...
2. What & why
they say what they say...
3. How folks would
rather have the new ones...
4. How the teens and
kids don't care either way these days about any bible!
5. How these versions
make imitation churches, pastors, Christians, etc!
6. How they are obviously
the spirit of antichrist!
7. How they not only
affect a person's growth, but how they affect a persons salvation. Luke
8:11 and II Thessalonians 2:1-12
for starters...
H. Reading and Studying my church printed
King James Bible that has no other study notes in the columns, etc.
Just the TEXT!
1. (That always shakes
the Greek and Baptist graduates. It is called ...faith
cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God!!!
2. John
3:30 He must increase, but
I must decrease.
3. The word of God
actually does effectually worketh in
them
that
believe and don't try to second guess
God or change anything!
I. From the encouragement of the church
folks who 'see it too!'
|
In this perverted wicked hurtful sorrowful stupid and senseless days of New Amerika...
I. I want to help us common folks, as well as myself, seek and find that one-on-one two-way fellowship that Christ asks for in Revelation 3:20!
II. I want to see common folks, as well as myself, grow in Knowledge, Understanding AND Wisdom from the Scriptures themselves - not just from a pastor, church or even from another book about the Bible through religion and Biblical Psychology Counseling - just from the Book!!
III. I want to see common folks like you and me find the spiritual gifts that Paul wants us to have - and to find them in and through the Scriptures!
IV. I want to see the church family - the brethren live a family like the Scriptures describe, define and assign to each member!
V. I want to see the folks who have fallen away from the Scriptures turn and return to the Book and then get an understanding they obviously didn't have before!
VI. I want to help the common folks like us use the King
James Bible see what is truly going on in Amerika these days!
A. In the "growing and successful" looking
churches and all the imitation that goes with them!
B. In 'Christian' Bookstores!
C. In Homeschooling homes!
D. In New Bibles!
E. In the Home!
VII. I want to help folks, as well as myself, prepare for the next big event - the Judgment Seat of Christ!
VIII. I want to xperience the joy that Paul had when he saw folks get ahold of God and how He works in us, with us, for us, and to us!
IX. I want to help folks SETTLE doctrine in their lives - to give them confidence and security as well as boldness with their Bible!
X. I want to see this Book - the Word of God GROW and PREVAIL for the final few folks interested and willing to allow it to do so!
XI. I would like to see some young folks carry this King James Bible onward to their generation as they grow up to be adults - if the Lord tarries - and if they themselves are not saved when He comes, at least they would know the truth to preach and how to walk that walk during that most awful time of Earth's history!
XI. Finally, but I am sure there are more reasons I haven't
thought of now - but I want to leave my personal family the truth about
this Book! I want them to be able to understand as much as God would
allow them to understand through my writings, my sermons and my conversations
and studies in and about the King James Bible - MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE
- including money, retirement, church, health, religion and successful
living! (That's good, because I have no money for them,
I have no retirement, churches are dying everywhere, I am running down
on health, I have no religion for them and I have not been very successful
in living)
Well, that may be true someday - although I know that to be NOT true today! There are plenty of churches that understand the Greater Commission - plenty - I am hearing from more all the time - even in his neck of the woods. I am sorry that he feels sorry for my family! But if my grandkids have nothing but a knowledge and an understanding of this King James Bible as their final authority in all matters of faith and practice - they will be able to have wisdom in what to do if they can't find that 'comfortable' church that pastors seem to think they need to have! They will be able to get it directly from the Holy Spirit in that King James Bible! The Bible is perfect, the church is not. The Bible will not steer anyone down the wrong path - that is done by people all on their own. Unfortunately, more and more churches are shining the wrong light on the wrong path!
I hope that my grandkids will also have the opportunity to know how
to please God in their walk
and that is more than I can say for most Christians and Pastors today!
It's the sword of the Spirit - and there still needs to be some division made today!
