Secure Your Own Salvation

There are many false ones being preached today!
They all use the Bible - but they use the Bible incorrectly!
Study to shew thyself approved unto God,
a workman that needeth not to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the word of truth.

But shun profane and vain babblings:
for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
II Timothy 2:15,16

Most people could be worshipping an Unknown God today!

It seems that most 'saved' may just have an Unknown Salvation.
When it comes to salvation, most folks tend to have no idea about God or their salvation other than if they are or are not saved based on a prayer or sermon they heard - or their own dedication of their lives to Jesus - or maybe asking Jesus into their heart when they were young, etc.!

Rightly dividing the word of truth is of utmost importance concerning one's salvation as it will show folks the following:

the right Jesus vs another Jesus that Paul warns about!
the right place in the bible to seek for one's salvation!
the security of one's salvation
the design, what all takes place and how one can even have salvation.
what God did to make it so we can even have a salvation that we can not lose.

The original goal of God for salvation to be with Him!

Ephesians 1:4 - ... that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

A detailed description of a lost person today.

The Romans road is good, but this is a detailed description!
Ephesians 2:11,12 - Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands; That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Now, how did 'life' go about trying to fulfill God's requirement?

Old Testament

Their faith had to maintain their being justified.

Habakkuk 2:4

Gentiles were judged by their conscience

Ephesians 2:11,12

Gospels

(Still Old Testament until the death of Jesus - Hebrews 9:16,17)
The Gospels are TO the Jews, NOT to the Gentiles.

The Disciples were even told to NOT go to the Gentiles yet.

Believe?

Sure, believe that Jesus was the Son of God, etc.
No faith in or trusting in, etc.
All references deal with believing that He was the Messiah - of God - Son of God - God, etc.

Great Commission
Based on Jesus Teachings to the Jews, NOT to the Gentiles (us today)!

2:17,18 - could have gone right into Tribulation with all the signs, etc. as Joel prophesied
2:38 - Baptism and repentance only gave remission!
3:19 - Repentance to have sins only blotted out!
2:41-47 - the 'church' design during the Great Commission
5:11-15 - apostles doctrine still came with signs and wonders, etc.
4:13 (8-12) Peter and John - NOT Paul
5:32 - Holy Ghost on those who OBEY
8:14-17 - Laying on of hands - typical of charismatic teachings today, but remember, Acts 1-8 is NOT TO us today!

Transition from Jews to Gentiles - the life of Paul and his teachings. Most of the NT was written within the entire writings of Acts.

Paul is our apostle, etc.

Salvation today is hearing, believing and trusting in the work and walk of the Risen Saviour Jesus CHRIST!

Not the teachings of the earthly Jesus to the Jews, nor the teachings in the book of Revelation, nor in the OT, nor in Acts 1-8.

Sin is still in us, but we are cut away from our flesh and sin.

To lose our salvation, to have it canceled out, or to even walk away from it, Christ would have to deny himself and impute sin - and to do that, He would have to reinstate the law again in order to be able to accuse us of a sin - that would mean denying Himself.
II Timothy 2:13

The sin that we CHOOSE to follow will be considered 'bad works' and will be burned in our judgment seat of Christ. I Corinthians 3:10+

There are many more verses to show a true salvation today compared to the many designs of a false salvation being preached today.

Then ask yourself if you are part of the following:

II Timothy 1:12

And then read all of Paul's books, especially Romans and Galatians to Philemon - and realize they are all to you!

Corinthians are also to us, but we must remember the 'actions' that Paul did in his early ministry were because they were signs to the Jews. He eventually went to the Gentiles only. That is why, since the KJB came along (I Corinthians 13:8-10), the laying on of hands, the healings, the wonders, the miracles, the water baptism, the Lord's Supper, etc. are all not commanded to us today! (that is another sermon, eh!)

Remember, I am not one to decide or judge a persons salvation or not; but I am to preach about the truth of it all. God knows the persons heart and whether or not they have trusted in another Jesus; followed another spirit; or learned another gospel. Paul tells us how to watch from being deceived. See Romans 10:6-8

Is it possible that you have been deceived?

Do you wonder about your salvation?
Do believe based on your own heart, teachings from your denomination, from the many bibles that all say different ways of salvation?
Can you prove without a shadow of doubt, from the Scriptures that you KNOW you have NOT received another Jesus; that you truly have an assurance based on God's teachings to us today?

Secure that Salvation today - from a rightly divided King James Bible - then enjoy the riches of the full assurance of understanding...

Colossians 2:2 - That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
