What's
In the Gospels "FOR" Us?
XXXII
|
Now
all these things happened unto them for ensamples:
and
they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are
come.
I
Corinthians 10:11
For
whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning,
that
we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Romans
15:4
Remember,
the Gospels are still in the Old Testament doctrinally!
Hebrews
9:16,17
The Gospels
are not TO us!
However, there
is still much within those Gospels FOR us!
Highlights from
the Gospels showing all that is falsely applied today!
Here is how To read the Gospels
for 'Paul-Following' Christians
Jesus is warning the Disciples about their own persecution
that was about to come - The Great Commission
and if accepted, right into the Tribulation - thus we have
all the Trib books (Hebrews to Jude) AFTER
Paul's books!
3: And
this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and
Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
-
Matthew 19:16,21-22:
And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall
I do, that I may have eternal life? ... Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt
be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou
shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me. But when the young
man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.
-
Matthew 25:41-46:
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed,
into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was
an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not:
sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer
him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger,
or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall
he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not
to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away
into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
-
Luke 10:25-28:
And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master,
what shall I do to inherit eternal life? He said unto him, What is
written in the law? how readest thou? And he answering said, Thou shalt
love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with
all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.
And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt
live.
-
John 3:15: That
whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
-
John 6:54: Whoso
eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise
him up at the last day.
-
John 10:24-33:
Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou
make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly. Jesus answered
them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's
name, they bear witness of me. But ye believe not, because ye are not of
my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them,
and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never
perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which
gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out
of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones
again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed
you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered
him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and
because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.
-
John 12:25: He
that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this
world shall keep it unto life eternal.
-
John 7:39: (But
this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive:
for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
-
For us to know him / eternity in a more excellent way; the way of God more
perfectly!
-
I Corinthians 12:31; Acts 18:24,25
-
He prayed concerning US today!
-
John 17:20: Neither
pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through
their word;
