What's
In the Gospels "FOR" Us?
Part XX
|
Now
all these things happened unto them for ensamples:
and
they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are
come.
I
Corinthians 10:11
For
whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning,
that
we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
Romans
15:4
Remember, the Gospels
are still in the Old Testament doctrinally!
Hebrews
9:16,17
Gospels are not TO
us!
However, there is still
much within those Gospels FOR us!
Gospel
of John
Chapter Ten
|
Highlights from
the Gospels showing all that is falsely applied today!
Chapter Ten
We will see in this chapter that...?
-
The word "sheepfold" is in reference to the Jews and not to the Gentiles
then or even today.
-
See Matthew 10:5 -
These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into
the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
-
An understanding of this parable of the door to the sheepfold, etc. will
give us an understanding of the wolves today who have entered into and
designed today's modern Christianity.
-
Paul has 'reason' to be concerned about those who preach 'another
Jesus' with 'another gospel'
and of receiving 'another spirit'
etc.
-
As Christ must be the shepherd who actually enters into the sheepfold;
that is the same today, as Paul mentioned about the Risen Christ entering
in through Paul and his teachings and doctrine as mentioned by Paul in...
-
I Thessalonians 1:9 -
For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you,
and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;
-
Philippians 4:9 -
Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and
seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
-
An understanding about the wolves & robbers and thieves that 'enter
in' other than Paul.
-
Music, professors, teachers, books, modern bible versions, doctrines other
than Paul's, church & denominational teaching basics, etc. no matter
how far off they are these days.
-
We will see more on the division that Jesus causes - then and now as the
risen Christ through Paul and that ole KJ Bible.
-
We see comparisons easily made to the King James Bible today with what
takes place in the life of Jesus.
-
We will see the importance of hearing the right voice when it comes to
the voice of Jesus Christ.
-
His Gospels voice to the Jews
-
His voice of the Great Commission
-
His voice through Paul
-
His voice through the King James Bible
-
His voice to the 'saints' in the Tribulation
-
We see again what to do with those who just don't want to see, hear and
understand Paul's gospel along with his manner
of life.
Here we go - Chapter
10
Parable of the Wrong Door - Wrong Shepherd - thieves and robbers!
-
1: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that
entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other
way, the same is a thief and a robber.
-
2: But he that entereth in by the door is the
shepherd of the sheep.
-
3: To him the porter openeth; and the sheep
hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them
out.
-
4: And when he putteth forth his own sheep,
he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
-
King James Bible -I
Corinthians 13:10
-
5: And a stranger will they not follow, but
will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
-
But will they hear the correct voice today?
-
See I Corinthians 13:10,11 - There
are, it may be, so many kinds of voices in the world, and none of them
is without signification. Therefore if I know not the meaning of the voice,
I shall be unto him that speaketh a barbarian, and he that speaketh shall
be a barbarian unto me.
-
See II Corinthians 11:1-4 - Would
to God ye could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with
me. For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused
you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his
subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is
in Christ. For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus...
Parable Explained
-
6: This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they
understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.
-
7: Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily,
I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
-
8: All that ever came before me are thieves and
robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
-
9: I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he
shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
-
10: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and
to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that
they might have it more abundantly.
-
Who have you let in?
-
Music, professors, teachers, books, modern bible
versions, doctrines other than Paul's, church & denominational teaching
basics, etc. Thieves and robbers of the Great Commission as their foundation
of ministry.
-
This is the Great Commission / Modern Christianity
promise!
-
Paul preaches "abounding" but not in physical riches
- the Risen Christ gives us spiritual blessings.
-
I Thessalonians 4:1
- Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord
Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please
God, so ye would abound more and more.
-
Ephesians 1:3:
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed
us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
-
Ephesians 3:20 -
Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we
ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
-
Paul warned about the love of money, doing things
for filthy lucre and results in the lives of those trusting in riches.
-
I Timothy 6:9,10 -
But
they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many
foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted
after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with
many sorrows.
-
11: I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd
giveth his life for the sheep.
-
Watch for that foolish shepherd!
-
Zechariah 11:15-17
- And the LORD said unto me, Take unto thee yet the instruments of a foolish
shepherd. For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, which shall
not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor
heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall
eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces. Woe to
the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword shall be upon
his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his
right eye shall be utterly darkened.
Hirelings
-
12: But he that is an hireling, and not the
shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth
the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.
-
13: The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling,
and careth not for the sheep.
-
14: I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep,
and am known of mine.
Sheep are His Jews!
-
15: As the Father knoweth me, even so know
I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.
-
John 1:11 - He
came unto his own, and his own received him not.
-
Matthew 10:5 -
These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into
the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
Other Sheep
-
16: And other sheep I have, which are not of
this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there
shall be one fold, and one shepherd.
-
OT and Gospel sheep (Great Commission included)!
-
Ephesians 2:13-22
-
Tribulation saints!
It was His Call!
-
17: Therefore doth my Father love me, because
I lay down my life, that I might take it again.
-
18: No man taketh it from me, but I lay it
down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it
again. This commandment have I received of my Father.
Division again!
-
19: There was a division therefore again among
the Jews for these sayings.
-
20: And many of them said, He hath a devil,
and is mad; why hear ye him?
-
21: Others said, These are not the words of
him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?
-
What about these 'Tribulational verses?"
-
Revelation 13:11-15
-
Revelation 16:13,14
-
II Thessalonians 2:9,10
-
22: And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the
dedication, and it was winter.
-
23: And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's
porch.
Blame Him / the Book for not understanding!
-
24: Then came the Jews round about him, and
said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ,
tell us plainly.
-
Psalm 119:130 -
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the
simple.
-
II Corinthians 11:3 -
But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his
subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is
in Christ.
-
All modern bibles blame the KJB and claim their necessity
comparing themselves to the KJB!
-
archaic words
-
words hard to understand
-
contradictions
-
wrong word used...
-
not said good enough...
Our works today show an effective testimony!
-
25: Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye
believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness
of me.
-
Remember the 4 witnesses in Chapter 5:30-47
-
Does I John 5:7,8
mean that there will be no more Scriptures available again during the Tribulation
as a witness to the record of God?
-
Was it like a post-I
Corinthians 13:10 era becoming like the
pre- I Corinthians 13:10
era?
-
I John 3:19,20-21,24,
etc.
-
or
-
Amos 8:11-13 - Behold,
the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land,
not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words
of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the
north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the
LORD, and shall not find it. In that day shall the fair virgins and young
men faint for thirst.
Believe not!
-
26: But ye believe not, because ye are not
of my sheep, as I said unto you.
Eternal life from hearing His voice!
-
27: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them,
and they follow me:
-
Today, we are to follow the Risen Christ by following
Paul
-
I Corinthians 11:1 -
Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.
-
28: And I give unto them eternal life; and
they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
-
29: My Father, which gave them me, is greater
than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.
-
30: I and my Father are one.
Another attempt at stoning!
-
31: Then the Jews took up stones again to stone
him.
Problems with the Deity of Christ have been around
for a long time, eh!
-
See 29 again - I
and my Father are one.
-
32: Jesus answered them, Many good works have
I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?
-
33: The Jews answered him, saying, For a good
work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being
a man, makest thyself God.
-
34: Jesus answered them, Is it not written
in your law, I said, Ye are gods?
-
35: If he called them gods, unto whom the word
of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;
-
36: Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified,
and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son
of God?
-
37: If I do not the works of my Father, believe
me not.
-
Deity issues to this very day!

I John 3:16
-
Ephesians 3:9

Micah 5:2
-
And that was what they had to believe in order to
believe in or on - that He was the Christ
- the Messiah - the Son of God - the Lamb of God - the only begotten son
- Immanuel, Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father,
the Prince of Peace, their
Saviour!
Don't believe me, but believe the Book that have
showed me how to 'be' a better Christian as well as being the true Christian
learning to serve the Risen Christ and Living God!
-
38: But if I do, though ye believe not me,
believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in
me, and I in him.
He 'escaped' again!
-
39: Therefore they sought again to take him:
but he escaped out of their hand,
-
See verse 18 - No
man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay
it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received
of my Father.
Do the 'avoid' thing with those that just don't
get it!
-
Eventually go on to those who are willing to believe!
-
avoid - from such withdraw - have no company with
- depart from - be not partakers with them - 'shake off the dust of your
feet against them.'
-
40: And went away again beyond Jordan into
the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode.
-
41: And many resorted unto him, and said, John
did no miracle: but all things that John spake of this man were true.
-
42: And many believed on him there.
