Ever wonder if wre we 'over-doing' Paul?
Should I back off this attempt at trying to help us apply Paul's ways to our own homes - should we just let the kids find it out for themselves, some day?

And actually, if this is all true, it shows us how the majority of the 'approach' in American history has been so wrong - based on wrongly dividing the word of truth - leading this country to an increase of ungodliness!  (It isn't about the battle between the Baptists and Methodists, Lutheran's and Catholics, etc. - it's not even really about bible versions, etc. - it is about II Timothy 2:15,16!

The abuse of the spirit of liberty has not only hurt America - it has hurt true Christianity!
    It did not edify; it has caused others to stumble!

Proverbs 22:6 - Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
What is 'the way?'

of course, Jesus Christ is the way...
John 14:6 - Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

But is it the gospel way?  the Acts way?  Hebrews to Jude? - or is it Paul's way?
I Corinthians 4:15-17 - For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.  Wherefore I beseech you, be ye followers of me. For this cause have I sent unto you Timotheus, who is my beloved son, and faithful in the Lord, who shall bring you into remembrance of my ways which be in Christ, as I teach every where in every church.

is it both?
Great Commission for the child and then show him how to grow up with Paul?

Paul is about growing up, ya know...
I Corinthians 13:11 -  When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.  THE BOOK HELPS US GROW UP!  - It can do the same for our kids!
Ephesians 4:13-16 -  Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Philippians 3:19 - Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

CAN we really do Paul's ways practically?  Is it even possible?
Do we really WANT to do Paul's ways in our homes?

Is it possible that maybe II Timothy 4:3,4 is more to us than we realize?
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;  And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

Are you reading your Bible differently now?

Are you looking for practicality in your Christian walk?

Do things look simpler - plainer - more obvious - reachable?

Are you diligently seeking the KJB rightly divided through Paul for how to actually train up your child?

Have you examined your MANNER OF LIFE in your home?

Do you truly seek Paul's ways in your home as it was suppose to be in every church?  I Corinthians 4:17...

Are you ONLY concerned about how to discipline them - or are you looking/considering other factors that may be affecting the manner of life in your own home?

Do you even have enough time to consider proper application of R & R?  (not rest and recreation, but reaction and response).

Is life around your home still just mostly 'don't's?'

Do you find your emphasis is more towards Romans 2:3 instead of Romans 2:4?
(goodness not meaning providing 'more' physical riches - See I Timothy 6:10,17; Luke 8:14, etc.)

Is there a joy in your home as your kid's are growing up?

Are you a helper of their joy or just a doer of what is right?
II Corinthians 1:24 - Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.
(not 'fun' and 'happiness' - joy, peace!)

Do YOU have your own joy in YOUR own hearing and learning to walk according to Paul's ways?

Have you honestly considered just HOW WICKED the world really is today - right outside your door?
Have you honestly considered if any of that wickedness is on THIS SIDE of the door in your home today?

Are you aware of 'brainwashing' as a device of the devil - that we are not suppose to be ignorant of?
(and yes, they exist in the 'old' movies, as well!!!)

Are the problems in your home always the fault of the KIDS - or do you just take it all out on the kids, anyway?

PEACE IS SOMETHING YOU HAVE - NOT SOMETHING YOU MAKE!
Amongst all the mess, you can still have peace - but you can not make peace happen.
Quietness is not always peace - it can be the calm before the storm!
FORCED PEACE IS A FALSE PEACE!

Have you forgotten about Jeremiah 1:10?  We must root out, pull down, destroy and throw down before we can build and plant Paul's ways.
(some of that will have to be what we have learned while we were raised and taught... wrong manner of life?  religious teachings?  Baptistic teachings?  PSR, etc.? Why is that so hard for us - WE SEE IT IN THE BOOK, DON'T WE NOW?)

IT IS A WICKED WORLD - SUBTLE - PERVERTED - PERILOUS TIMES - etc.
Our war is not:
    Isaac and Ishmael
    America's fall
    the churches, etc.
    religion
    education
    health
 
The right war is to know the enemy that is after your children!

WHAT IS YOUR FAMILY OR PERSONAL:
