This is the beginning of a series that without a doubt is the most important series I have ever preached! This series will deal with the King James Bible and will a series of sermons to search out just how much of the 'Holy Word of God' IS the Authorized King James 1611 version.I will not even consider all those who don't believe that there is a single book anywhere that is the 'Word of God' and that is mostly everyone today!
We also must remember that almost all of the KJV folks who say that the King James Bible IS the 'Holy Word of God' will still not go so far as to say that it is the 'saving' 'Holy Word of God'.
Brethren - if the KJV1611 is the 'Word of God', then the other versions of bibles you find in your local 'Religious Bookstore' and in almost every church pew and pulpit in America are NOT the 'Word of God'! They can't be! The KJV and all those other perversions are not the same!
And really, it doesn't even matter what the differences are - the simple fact that there 'ARE DIFFERENCES' proves that if the KJV1611 IS the 'Word of God', then those bibles are NOT!
And if that is 'not' true, then NONE OF THEM ARE - including the KJV1611!
1) Can a person hear from God WITHOUT God's own words?
2) Can a person grow spiritually WITHOUT God's own words?
3) Can someone be led to the Lord WITHOUT the Word of God?
4) Can incorruptible fruit be produced WITH corruptible seed?People today think those questions are answered yes, but the Scriptures say NO!
My first personal thought is this: Who am I to preach this series of sermons on the King James Bible, anyway? I know my background - I know 'me' better than anyone else other than God and the Devil! I have no knowledge of the Greek and Hebrew! I can handle 'simple' manuscript evidence but not that deeply involved stuff. I am not even interested. I am just a Bible-reading Bible-believer that wants to believe what the Bible says - not what someone else says it teaches.I am learning more and more the phrase that
God doesn't call the equipped, but He equips the called!Could it be that God will honor His words to me? He promised me - and you - in John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. Me? That is His promise! To me! ME!!!!!!
Well, I can believe anything I want, amen? However, I am not to preach myself or just what I happen to believe! For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. II Corinthians 4:5-7I was a pastor with a small congregation but also still has a worldwide web sight and many many people in our past. There are many baby ears within the sound of my voice. There are children's ears, teenager's ears and ears of young people. There are ears of the middle aged and elderly. There are mature and immature ears along with male and female ears! There are ears 'on the rock' that have shallow roots and there are ears that are more concerned about 'the riches and pleasures of this life' and yes, there are still a few ears that are attached to honest and good hearts who after they hear the word, keep it. Luke 8:11-15
I am told to Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. II Timothy 4:2
In a certain way, "Yes, I do!" And I am told to rightly divide it thus I will be able to 'keep' it in a manner that God would approve... NOT through the law!
Do I want to cause 'division' with this series of sermons?
(I believe I will, unfortunately!)I want to see the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow... I want to see that spiritual operation made without hands!
I want to see a person 'divide' his walk from the walk of the world where they are of their father the devil John 8:44! Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. II Corinthians 6:17,18
But I do NOT want to see division between us and the brethren. These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him...he that soweth discord among brethren. Proverbs 6:19
Do I want to cause 'strife'?Not today!
And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. II Timothy 2:24-26Yes! I would like to stir up the 'lost' to 'get saved'!
Am I trying to stir things up?I would also like to stir up those who 'don't have much assurance about their salvation to 'examine themselves like it says in II Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? People need to have total confidence & assurance in their own salvation and they need to KNOW if they have actually 'Received' Christ as their Saviour!
I believe that if the folks that you can challenge will 'listen' with you, that you will find some who will discover that they truly did NOT receive Christ as their saviour - that they received the spirit of antichrist and participated in the biggest deception ever in the world!
I also believe that if the folks that you can challenge will 'listen' with you, that you will give them the greatest thing a Christian can have - true and complete assurance AND understanding of their salvation!
I also want to stir you into action! If we ever truly realize what God has given to us here, I pray that we would someday - before it is too late - open our eyes to what it is that God would have us do with this immense responsibility of having His true saving words amongst such a wicked and deceitful and soul hungry world. In order for the Holy Spirit to reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgmentJohn 16:8 does God need us to publish his word? (Acts 13:49) Does He need us so that His word can increase (Acts 6:7)? Does God need us so that His word can grow and multiply (Acts 12:24)? Does God need us so that His word can prevail in lives of other people (Acts 19:20)?
Is it us who have let down God with what He has given us?
I probably don't even need to tell you that most KJV folks don't believe what I am preaching and teaching in this series. Even the 'biggies' don't (or won't, anyway) go down this road! They each have their own peculiar little teachings - but - is this series about a 'peculiar little teaching' or is 'it the truth'? Thy word is truth, the Bible says in John 17:17. We preach that the King James 1611 Bible is the truth and is 'thy word - don't we? Is that peculiar? To the world - YES! To God - NO! Not according to the scriptures, anyway. And the devil would try to teach us that the KJV is the complete Word of God - that those words are God's own words - inspired and preserved as God promised? Ya, right!If only the KJV is that truth, then there are many many 'christians' out there 'in title only' and someday God will have to tell them that He doesn't know them!
If only the KJV is that truth, then there are many many 'christian's out there who are looking forward to their judgment seat but who instead will find themselves at their white throne judgment getting their sins judged when they thought their sins had already been judged and paid for!
If only the KJV is that truth, then there are many 'christians' out there who are NOT SAVED!
What a shocking discovery that would be - and it would be TOO LATE!
We must also consider that if this study is carrying the KJV issue 'too far', then there is NO ISSUE at all! If the KJV is not the 'saving' Word of God and it is only just a 'message' as are all the claims of the other modern bible versions - then we are making an issue out of nothing and have wasted a lot of years and money not being 'nice' regarding our public witness. We could have a lot more people here on Sunday mornings! We should just throw out the KJV issue, loosen up with our music and get active with the faith based programs in our community and we would certainly see more community folks here - as well as our family members, amen?Note: I am a faith based man - but it is a Jesus Christ-based faith - and that faith is based on the Word of God - not on whatever we choose to believe as those so-called faith based folks believe. You watch - the faith based involvement from the government is of the devil! You will see not only the damage it will cause to the country, but it will be very damaging to those who stand on the King James Bible as the inspired, inerrant, infallible, pure and preserved word of God!
This is a serious spiritual issue, amen? But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. I Corinthians 2:9-16You will 'see' it now or if not now, later, when you are honestly 'seeking' the truth in your own life! John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
Let's quickly remind ourselves how God has spoken to His creation in the past.Through Nature, but today, the devil has people worshipping nature - ole mother earth! Through our Conscience, but over time, the devil has been searing our conscience! Through Visions, Signs, Miracles, Wonders and Dreams, but now, the devil himself operates through visions and dreams, not God! On Tablets of Stone, but today, those commandments are called works and are compared with filthy rags and have nothing to do with hearing 'live' from God, today. God manifest Himself in the flesh, but the devil will also do it in Revelation 6! Through The Holy Inspired, Preserved Written Scriptures - The devil has tried to take them away physically but couldn't do it, and now he has tried to replace them with corrupted and perverted versions. The Holy Spirit within us - but with all the many voices we 'hear', how do we know when it is God's voice? Simple: God's 'voice' matches-up with His words. It sure does look to me like the Holy Spirit is necessary for us to hear from God today and it is also equally necessary for us to have His words written down to know if the voice we hear is of God or is of the devil.
The Seed is the word of God!As part of the title states, let's consider that the word of God is called the seed in a parable in Luke chapter 8. Luke 8:11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.
But before we look into that seed, let's consider the end of the crop season - and look at the fruit that has grown from whatever kind of seed has been planted in America these past few years.
Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

The Republic of America is dead and has been buried at the bottom of the Potomac! Children are being taught about life & morals (lack of) from Hollywood! The government has begun their official 'religious' program designed to replace the family! Evil is being called good more than ever before! Men have given their strength unto women! Most men look, talk, act, behave and dress like women! Most women look, talk, act, behave and dress like men! The Words of God have been replaced by the words of the Devil!
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. is the result of either a bad seed or bad farming - or both!Do we think we can actually 'analyze' God's salvation? For me? Yes!!
For you? That is for you to decide.We are told to contend for the faith - but we don't anymore!
We are told to be a soldier - but we won't anymore!
We are told to endure hardness - but we can't anymore!
The spiritual war continues between God's words and the devil's words. But the war is no longer in the world anymore nor is it in any earthly frontier. This war no longer exists in foreign nations or even in our own country. Our cities have rejected God's words. Our schools and small communities have also rejected God's words.
Yes, the war appears to almost be over. Even most of our 'relatives' have defected to the other side.
The last battle ground appears to be within our own homes - our own family members are all that we have left. Will you fight for your children and if the Lord 'tarries', will you fight for your grandchildren?
I will! Will you?
