Has God Forsaken Young Women With Shipwrecked Lives? Part II
Review Part I's notes This is not about building a ladies rescue mission!
This is about young women, and soon, a sermon is coming on young men.
I have always wanted a 'home for kids with troubled parents! boys & girls
It is a serious situation!
Apostasy takes down our kids as they grow up!
They continue with any folly we have taught them!
Train up a child in the way he should go... we may tell them one way, but we show them the other way!
Acts 26:16c-20 Who IS this sermon for?
1) Parents with little children - infants and on up.
Guide them to the design that God has for them as young women, wifes, mothers, etc.
Goals - Paul's (Risen Christ after Peter) manner of life for a woman!
To prevent them from heading into the rocks!
Help
teach their eyes to be open to prevent them from heading into a life in
darkness, the power of Satan, into the snare of Satan, etc.
Keep them from a life of shipwreck - or even just in the rocks crying for help.
Youth to be an example of the believers...I Timothy 4:12
Young women wanting to grow up and serve a living God and a risen Saviour as Paul preaches.
Young
women who are tired of being tossed to and fro, and carried about with
every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness
whereby they lie in wait to deceive.
Young women who are shipwrecked but 'finally' want to turn from the power of Satan unto God - from darkness unto light, etc.
Young women who want to be delivered from every evil work - II Timothy 4:18
Young women wanting the will of the Lord in their lives. Ephesians 5:17
Why even preach it if in these days of apostasy, Christians will not endure sound doctrine? I Timothy 4:2-4
There
MUST be some still will want off the rocks - once their ship wrecks and
they find themselves on the rocks - in the snare of the devil (if they
can ever realize that!)
Maybe some Christians will still 'feel led' to help someone who is calling for help - and have the time and resources!
Those
seeking help may learn to understand just what God expects of them if
they really want help from the brethren to help get them off the rocks
and out of the snare of the devil. II Timothy 2:26
- it is still up to themselves to actually get out of the snare and to
stay out - to get off the rocks and not go back to the shipwreck.
For
people to know the Bible has the answer for everything - including
these situations. God has NOT forsaken those who call upon Him in
faith and trust, no matter how deep their ship has sunk - no matter how
tight the snare is - God can help get them out - eventually.
To show the answers to Paul's prayers are still answerable even after a shipwreck.
That there is always hope for anyone and everyone... IF!
It is one of our jobs as a Christian!
OTHERS
Do we have it ourselves, first, though?
Galatians 5:14b - ... Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
II Timothy 2:22 - with them
II Timothy 2:23-26 - instructing those...
II Timothy 2:10 - ... for the elect's sakes
I Timothy 6:17-19 - ...rich in good works... ready to distribute, willing to communicate
I Timothy 4:12-16
- youth to be example of believers... meditate upon these
things... that thy profiting may appear to all ... save... them that
hear thee!
II Corinthians 11:1-4 - protect them
Philippians 1:24-26 - more needful for you...
Galatians 6:1-10 - read about reaping in detail!
And to finish tonight, "Dad, what are your goals for your little girls?" (boys sermon coming soon)
A life headed to a shipwrecked faith?
For them to wax wanton against Christ?
To cast of their 1st faith?
Be idle - be busibodies - destroy others - destroy their church, etc.?
Be tattlers, speaking things which they ought not?
To give occasion to the adversary to speak reproachfully.
To blaspheme the word of God?
To turn aside after Satan?
To usurp authority over their husband?
To be deceived during childbearing times?
To live a life of falsely defined and prideful godliness?
To be a partier - not sober during these hard times?
To not love their husbands
To have an unnatural affection to her children?
To be wild - immodest - loud - rude - manly - not a keeper at home, but for some other boss somewhere?
To be disobedient to her husband?
To have a worldly 'lost' bum of a husband who won't even let her live the life of a Christian?
