Ephesians 2:2,3
- Wherein in time past ye walked according
to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the
air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among
whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our
flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by
nature the children of wrath, even as others.

God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:

-
Ephesians 2:13-18
- But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes
were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace,
who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition
between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments
contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so
making peace; And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by
the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: And came and preached peace
to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him
we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

II Thessalonians
2:13-17 - But we are bound to give thanks
alway to God for you, brethren beloved of the Lord, because God hath from
the beginning chosen you to salvation through sanctification of the Spirit
and belief of the truth: Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the
obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, brethren, stand
fast, and hold the traditions which ye have been taught, whether by word,
or our epistle. Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father,
which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good
hope through grace, Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good
word and work.

-
Galatians 3:23-26
-
But
before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which
should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to
bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that
faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the
children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
In
Ages to Come
Ephesians 2:7
-
That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace
in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
-
That was written
in Paul's time and so any mention of the word "beyond" is why I
call our ways, "Beyond Paul" in today's 'age.
-
We are able to
learn of the exceeding riches of his grace today by learning Paul's teachings.'
-
We are in the
'age' for these things as we now have that which is perfect, the KJB -
the source of these riches!
Colossians
2:2 - That their hearts might be comforted,
being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance
of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of
the Father, and of Christ;
Ephesians
1:16-18 - Cease not to give thanks for
you, making mention of you in my prayers; That the God of our Lord Jesus
Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and
revelation in the knowledge of him: The eyes of your understanding being
enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what
the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints...

-
I Thessalonians
4:13-18 - But I would not have you to be
ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not,
even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and
rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with
him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are
alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which
are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead
in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be
caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air:
and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with
these words.
