|Genesis 12:1-3 -
Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from
thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew
thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and
make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them
that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all
families of the earth be blessed.
But, because they were disobedient, Israel has been set aside and their
promised kingdom is held in abeyance (The condition of being temporarily

God's punishment to them if they ever chose to not hearken unto Him
by choosing to not do all His commandments
if they despise His statues
if their soul abhorred His judgments.
Then, look at what is going on in the world today... could it all be a
preparation for the Tribulation to the Jews - and we are to really have
no part in it?
II Timothy 2:4 - No
man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that
he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.
However, God never withdraws a commitment.
Though He has temporarily set the Israelites aside, even Paul the apostle
- For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies
will I gather thee. In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment;
but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD

Hath God cast away His people? God forbid. For I also am an
Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
Galatians 3:17,18 -
And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before God in Christ,
the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul
that it should make the promise of none effect. For if the inheritance
be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by
Romans 11:26,27 -
And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out
of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For
this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
Future Covenant Coming
- But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also
he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better
promises. For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no
place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he
saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant
with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to
the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them
by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued
not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is
the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days,
saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their
hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother,
saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their
iniquities will I remember no more. In that he saith, A new covenant, he
hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready
to vanish away.
|Because Israel's future has been put on hold, God has ushered in a
new dispensation with a different promise.
Israel's promise is earthly, but the promises to the present church,
the Body of Christ, are heavenly.

we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In
whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel
of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed
with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance

Philippians 3:20,21 -
For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour,
the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned
like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able
even to subdue all things unto himself.
- And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists;
and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the
work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all
come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God,
unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried
about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness,
whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may
grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any
thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.
